Hotel's Favorite
Great hotel with great food and great people. I had a great and relaxing time there. There is nothing to complain about. The rooms are clean and get cleaned everyday. The personal is always smiling and helpful. They really appreciated it when you tried to say thank you in greek! The animation was very funny, friendly and motivated. What I enjoyed the most were the evening programs of them. I had so much fun there. In addition you can always play games with them and other guests during the day. They mostly go around and ask kindly for motivated people but also respect a no. Furthermore you should know that there is not a lot to see around the hotel itself. For this case you can rent a car in the hotel for a fair price. With a car you can access the most sights of Rhodes within 30 Minutes. It is worth it! The food there was very delicious. I really loved it especially at the greek evening which is once a week!

I was here in November 2023 with 3 children, it was a great vacation. The hotel is pleasant, well equipped, excellently located. Excellent food and very helpful and accommodating staff. The children were excited about the water slides and the regular evening programs. We really liked it here, I highly recommend it especially to families.

Our family with 3 children and Irene Palace was not a love at first sight. We arrived at 5PM, it was 35°C, pools were already closed, list of surcharges on reception was long and the minibar in the room was completely empty. Not expected for a 4 star all inclusive hotel. But it only got better and we had a great vacation there! The hotel is located on a lovely beach with sand and clear water, no need to cross any road to get to it. The absolutely amazing Tsambika beach is nearby. Hotel garden is very nice and offers plenty of shade. Hotel surrounding is beautiful with lots of options for nice walks. Food was decent with reasonable variety. All the people super nice, and big bonus was probably best animators we ever met - thank you Adam and Karla! Our kids loved the art sessions, pizza making, and minidisco!

First time to visit Rhodes. This area had no problems at all from all the fires that have been on the island. First impression of the hotel was fabulous. The entrance was luxuous, personal helpfull and friendly and the rooms clean, neat and a excellent view. The poolbar was terrific, with Seva and Filimonas behind the bar a perfect ticket for the hotel and super friendly people from Greece. The lifeguards were suberb. Vasilis and Catharina did a perfect job, when our son fell on the tiles at the pool. During the rest of our stay at the hotel, they continuously stayed caring for the welbeing of our son. Big thumbs up for them! Because we have young kids of 7 and 9 years old, animation is really important to us. Adam and Karla are doing an amazing job over there. The two of them (together with 3 other girls that are especially hired for a Slovakian tour operator) managed to entertain the 300 guests in the entire hotel. The kids are still talking about them!!! That points out the excellent job those two are doing in animation for the hotel. Also a special shout out to Vasilia the restaurant manager. Our daughter celebrated on our holidat her 7th birthday. Vasilia made this birthday together with all the staff (with a birthday cake and champagne) for our little girl a birthday to remember the rest of her life. The last day our bus pick-up would be at 5 p.m. but had to leave the room at 11 a.m. For the last 6 ours of our stay at the hotel, the reception offered us a different room (rather old, but good enough) to be able to swim and take an easy shower afterwards and keep our suitcases save and with us. Afterall, this holiday together with all the lovely and perfectly friendly people of Greece was a big succes. We really consider therefor to return to the beautifull island of Rhodes and the superb personel of Irene Palace Beach Resort.

Where to start? I will begin with the positives - * excellent, large pool but does need repainting. * plenty of sunbeds around the grassed area, providing plenty of shade for those that need it * easy access path to the beach which is just fabulous. You cannot overstate the beauty of the Greek sea. * very good staff throughout the hotel (bar the guy on overnight duty on his own... who doesn't want to help at all), who work hard and long hours and always have a smile. * shops and restaurants just round the corner which was a nice surprise And now for the negatives😪 * THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR Hotel! * rooms are tiny and very tired * we were on the 3rd floor and the hallway carpet to the rooms was actually disgusting We were in a 'family room' as were 2 friends... there was a sofa bed in the room but no room to move around at all. We felt so sorry for families stuck with their kids in such tight circumstances with no way to breathe. * the holiday wasn't cheap and having to pay for air conditioning on top of the cost of the hotel was unexpected and annoying and left us short on money. It didn't mention this on their page🤷 * we weren't told that towels had to be put on the bathroom floor if they needed changing and had to complain to reception after day 4 of the same towels * the site said there was a pool towel system....there was'nt🙄 thank goodness I took a sarong to put on the sunbed. * food was samey samey and not much choice but the ice cream was gorgeous. * breakfast was a disaster for me as I couldn't have toast, the only thing I could eat, as the same broken toaster got put out every day, despite the fact it didn't work and numerous complaints by lots of ppl were made about it. It was laughable watching ppl every day struggle with it and give up but the hotel continued to make it 'appear' like it was offered🙄 * hotel had a fabulous location and hard working approachble, friendly staff, but that didn't make it 4 star, the premises themselves and facilities offered do... they need to change their rating to 3 star.

We have been to the Irene Palace hotel 7 times. We always like to come back here, mainly for its location, equipment and especially for the hotel staff. The hotel is situated in a nice park, by the beach in the center of Kolymbia. It has several swimming pools (for swimmers, children, whirlpool) and water slides. This September we were accommodated in the renovated room no. 1103. The maid who oversaw our room was a very kind and helpful lady. I can only praise her as our room was always tidy and clean, and our bed linen and towels were regularly changed. The receptionists were always helpful, kind and smiling. Upon arrival, we didn’t have to wait for accommodation at all. Last day we had a late flight, so we asked for an extended stay. Since they already had our room reserved, they willingly provided us another room for a day. We had an all-inclusive package. The food was excellent, varied, so there was always plenty to choose from. They kept replenishing the food, so when we arrived a little later, there was still a wide choice. We admired all the waitresses, waiters, and support staff for managing the canteen so well and organized. We would especially like to highlight the professionalism and hard work of the main manager of the canteen, Mrs. Vasilia. She is a nice, friendly, hardworking, and always smiling lady who handles her work tasks very well. She handles all types of issues very well, her managing skills are perfect. We are grateful for all the hotel employees, as thanks to them we could enjoy our 12 days’ vacation in peace and quiet. I am sure we will come back again soon.

We had great time at Irene Hotel. Location is fantastic, close to te beach and village Center with easy bus access to Rodos and Lindos (bus stop 100 m from the hotel). There is a beautiful garden with sundeds where you can relax, nice pool and slides for kids. But what we liked the most are people working there. From reception ladies, bartenders, housekeeping ladies: everyone was kind, helpful and made us feel realy welcomed. Special thanks to Seva and Filomenos (sorry if I misspeled it). Ms. Vasilia, restaurant manager, is the real star. I heve never met such hardworking, competent, yet friendly and nice lady. Thank you all at Irene hotel for our holiday!
