Stayed here in October 2020 in a superior room, with a sea view. Wasn't sure what it would be like because of covid but needn't had worried. The room was the best room I had ever stayed in and the view was to die for, huge bed really comfy with a sofa at the other end of the room in front of the TV, the bathroom was very nice with a double rain shower in it. The maid only came every other day as this was a Covid precaution to limit the amount of people going in and out of rooms. This was also the case for mini bar which also was filled up every other day, normally on the days the maids didn't come to the room. The pool and the outside areas were gorgeous only a couple of mins from the sea ,we were given a towel card for outside so we exchanged our towels every couple of days ,sometimes the service for drinks could be a bit slow but thats only a small negative on this wonderful hotel. At meal times there was everything at breakfast ,full English, continental, fresh cooked omelette, lunch time good selection of hot and cold food ,even fish chips and mushy peas and some lovely cakes ,you could either eat inside or outside ,evening time was very busy and you had to queue because of covid ,but they came round with glasses of sparkling wine while we waited, good selection of food again ,there was always a fresh carved meat station and show cooking station ,all the staff in the hotel are lovely. Evening entertainment i thought was good especially the tribute to the Jersey Boys who I thought was fabulous, only downside was it was outside and it was a bit cool. Hotels WiFi was extremely good, had no problems with connections throughout our stay. There is also a handy bus service that picks up just in front of the Hotel that takes you to Rhodes town itself and nearby Lindos which are both very well worth a visit. From the Hotel, Kolymbia is only a short walk away which has 1 street with various shops bars and restaurants Wouldn't hesitate to go back to this hotel ,it was wonderful.…
Myself and my husband booked here very last minute as Covid restrictions were very low. Our wedding had been cancelled of course but we decided we weren’t going to put our life on hold to Covid, so we just got married with a few people to witness - and looked forward to what hopefully would be a good honeymoon... which is absolutely was. The hotel/resort is absolutely stunning, clean and modern. We had a junior swim up room, which absolutely made our trip as we just wanted to quietly relax together, so we found ourselves sitting by our own pool everyday rather then venturing to the main. They even have us another bottle of Prosecco as it was our honeymoon! Our only downfall was that we stayed half board and drinks were very expensive, which if I was to go again I’d 100% recommend all inclusive. However, just a short walk down from the resort there is a street full of outdoor cocktail bars and local restaurants that were amazing! The Covid measures in place at the hotel were great, taking our temperature on arrival and before entering dinner halls etc... and wearing masks/plastic gloves when plating up for breakfast or dinner took absolutely nothing away from the holiday. It was the best holiday resort I’ve been too - I now have the whole family wanting to go once Covid is hopefully a threat of the past.…
Stayed here for a week from 14th October and can really recommend all this hotel has to offer. Ideally situated in a small village halfway between Lindos and Rhodes Town, both easily accessible. We had a renovated sea view room, well worth paying a little extra for, very spacious and comfortable with views over the pool and sea. The hotel was full because a lot of guests had been booked to go to Turkey but had changed due to Covid restrictions, however contrary to some reviews there were always plenty of sunbeds available and the areas around the pool were spacious and not crowded at all. Food at the hotel was probably the best buffet food we have had at an all inclusive and the arrangements they had in place to comply with Covid were far better we expected and the food was piping hot and good quality. We don't usually stay inj the hotel for the evening entertainment but the Kolymbia village was very quiet as a lot of the hotels were closed so we stayed in most nights and it was surprisingly good, tribute acts and a film night where the guest chose the film. One of the best things about this hotel was the staff, always so friendly and hardworking, they really couldn't do enough for all the guests in very trying times.…
We had a fantastic time here and highly recommend it. Beautifully landscaped beach and gardens, stunning setting and views, and amazing food. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The room was great with plenty of space and double wardrobe, with a lovely swim-up pool. Absolutely delightful!
We stayed at the Atlantica for a week when our original holiday to another Greek island was cancelled the day before we were due to fly. Positives: - hotel was clean and followed COVID rules - Most of the staff were very friendly and hard working - Food was good for buffet style, we were half board. You were allowed to switch dinner to lunch which was good. - Although busy, there seemed to be enough sunbeds. Negatives: - When we arrived we were given an older style room which wasn’t 5* quality. We asked to be moved to one of the renovated rooms which was very nice but made us question how the rooms are allocated. We also did pay extra for a sea view room. - The coffee wasn’t great and the drinks were expensive (2.70 euro for small bottle of water) - We booked the a la carte restaurant on our last night on the app, when checking the booking was confirmed at reception we were told it wasn’t. The app is clunky and wasn’t clear that the booking hadn’t been made. It was our last night and this really put a dampener on our holiday as we were looking forward to eating there. - There isn’t much around the hotel if you wanted to eat out, we rented a car and it was about 30 mins to Rhodes and Lindos. Overall the holiday was good, the staff are nice and the upgraded room was lovely. Personally, resort hotels aren’t our style but if you want an all inclusive holiday for what we thought was a reasonable price it is a good place to stay. …
