Atlantica Imperial Resort garners high praise for its immaculate cleanliness and stylish atmosphere, although the music selection sometimes misses the mark. The service stands out, with staff members receiving accolades for their exceptional dedication. Guests are enamored with the comprehensive amenities, notably the pristine pools and varied dining options.

Whilst I don’t normally choose large hotels, the layout and size of the estate never gave the impression of a 390 room hotel. Our sea view room with balcony was everything we hoped for both in decor and amenities you would expect from a 5* hotel. Our all inclusive package was exactly that with the usual exceptions for premium brand spirits and wine which was acceptable as the mealtime house wines were perfectly drinkable. The restaurant was staffed by well trained and friendly faces who were very efficient and in sufficient numbers to cater for the numbers. The food on the whole was excellent and varied with a number of speciality nights during our stay. The evening entertainment was a little sparse but that could have been due to it being October. The mostly sandy beach was kept very clean with helpful boardwalks strategically placed, however future guests should be aware that water shoes are advisable to cover the last stretch into the crystal clear water. If I have any small negative observation to make, it would that the hotel don’t appear to be over conscientious in protecting their claim to be “adult only” status as I witnessed families with young children occupying cabanas on the beach on numerous occasions which I understand they rent out if not busy. Otherwise a truly enjoyable holiday.

Dear Kevin, Thank you for sharing your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that despite usually opting for smaller hotels, you found our layout and design to create a relaxing atmosphere, never feeling overwhelmed by the size of the estate. It’s wonderful to know that your sea view room met your expectations. We’re also glad you appreciated the quality of the house wines and the variety of food on offer, especially during our specialty nights. Your kind words about our well-trained and friendly restaurant staff mean a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to the team. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the beach and found it clean and accessible. Thank you for the helpful tip about water shoes for future guests—this is indeed a good recommendation for anyone planning to enjoy the crystal-clear waters. Regarding your observation about families with young children using the beach cabanas, we apologize if this affected your experience. We strive to maintain our adult-only status and appreciate your feedback, however kindly be informed that our beach (like all beaches in Greece) is public. Thank you once again for your kind words, and we’re pleased that you had a truly enjoyable holiday. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future!

The Imperial Atlantica is a truely outstanding hotel . The standard and size of the rooms are amazing with great range to choose from duplex studios, swim up rooms or standard but still brilliant like ours.the mini fridge which comes at no cost is refilled daily and the cleaning regime is second to none . The food in the main restaurant is superb and is themed most nights such as international , Greak and Chinese . You also get one specialised restaurant per holiday we recommend Ginger . The hotel and area of kolymbia is quite ladback so don't expect big nights out but the entertainment is what you expect in most hotels . If you like yoga this hotel is amazing one 8.30am and another 5.30 pm there is also water aerobics and a daily quiz . The staff here are wonderful from front of house who get you processed very efficiently with lovely potters taking you and your luggage straight to your room . Even at the buffet restaurant you are escorted to your table a special mention to Maria and Yainnis , they are very busy but somehow find time to make you feel special . The bar staff are also brilliant in the evening you might have to wait 5 to 10 to be served but it is table service and you can drink from 10am to midnight so chill . A few tips now . If you want to go to Lindos or Rhodes get the bus just outside the hotel it's about 24 kilometres for both and takes 50 minutes and only costs 4 euros each way ask for details at the front desk . One little moan there is a island tax of 10 euros per room per day to pay when you check out . We have travelled a lot over the years and only Mexico has come to matching this hotel give it a go you will not regret it

Dear Alan, Thank you for sharing such a detailed and positive review of the Imperial Atlantica! We're pleased that you enjoyed the themed nights in our main restaurant and had a great experience at our Ginger restaurant. Thank you for highlighting the efficiency and friendliness of our staff, especially Maria and Yiannis, as well as our bar staff. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the overnight tax. The increase has been set by the government. Your comparison to your travels in Mexico is truly flattering. We hope to welcome you back soon for another exceptional stay. We arrived at the hotel about 10pm on Wednesday 5th June. As we entered the hotel we were greeted by staff, given a fresh cool face towel to freshen up and offered a glass of Prosecco or orange juice. The check in process was quick and the concierge took us to our room and he took our bags. He gave us some info on the room air con safe etc and explained there were some fresh rolls in the fridge and some fruit as we had missed dinner. The hotel had also kindly left us a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates and fruit because we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.
Our room was a premium double with sea view and it was just stunning! The air conditioning was absolutely fabulous and as we had arrived and Greece was experiencing a heat wave that week I can tell you great air conditioning was a must! The staff at this hotel are incredible! They deserve to be commended for their friendliness and the way in which they do their jobs. The hotel is absolutely spotless throughout and has just the most perfect relaxing ambience. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool with parasols and also a great grass area with trees which provided much needed shade in the 38 degree heat. There are some cabana beds and day beds around the pool which are available at an extra cost should you wish to use them but we found the normal sun beds really comfy. The hotel also has nice loungers at the beach which you can use if you wish.
The choice and quality of food at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was great and seeing the staff prepare some dishes fresh as you waited was great. As all inclusive guests we had a choice of booking one A la carte restaurant during our weeks stay and we chose Mylos the Greek restaurant, it was astounding, so much so I’ve written a separate review for it! We also enjoyed the street food snack bar in the afternoons were you can grab something and either eat at your lounger or the outside seating area. The staff at the pool bar are great, special mention to Tsampika, who after serving me a couple of times remembered my room number each time! You could tell she was happy in her job, in fact I’d say that about all the staff.
There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel and we took a trip to Rhodes one evening to explore the old town. It was only 16 euros for the return trip. The same for the trip to Lindos to the Acropolis. Make sure you go to the Acropolis early in the morning to avoid long queues and the scorching heat. It’s definitely not suitable for those with mobility issues.
If you have been looking at this hotel just book it! Honestly a faultless hotel! Very deserving of the 5 Star rating. We will definitely be back!

Large, neat, stylish junior swim-up room. Good food with themed evenings, without luxury. Very extensive range of desserts and patisserie. You will be escorted to a table in the buffet restaurant. Many beds a / h pool in a large, beautiful garden with lots of shade. BUT ... never before had so much limitation all-inclusive and in general. Limit use private pool 9:30-19h, cocktails at pool bar are a cup of ice cream with 1/3rd cup prefab non-alc. supplement. A Greek wine at the table -> €35 Xtra paid, breakfast & lunch hours are too short so only junk food remains in the nam. as an option. 1 night in Blue Bay restaurant eaten -> very fine but with an Xtra bill of €50 (2 gin tonics and the supplement for 1 main course). The bubbles at breakfast -> 1/5th vh glass filled, always the same juice in the morning, we felt for €6000/10days/2p (TUI Vip selection package) + the Xtras not spoiled but limited.

Having read all the glorious reviews and having previously stayed in a fantastic Atlantica hotel we had high expectations for this holiday. Paying over 3 thousand pounds each for 2 weeks we were looking to treat ourselves. On arrival we were offered a welcome drink and cold towel which was a lovely touch. Being pregnant they gave an alternative mocktail which was nice. We had booked a swim up room and emailed before asking for a room with a nice view as we were celebrating our baby moon. On arrival into our room we had an okay view including a partial sea view overlooking an external quiet road. There was no acknowledgment of our celebration which was a shame since most of these reviews state they had received a lovely welcome message. The room was very modern with a comfy bed and fantastic big shower however it had a few niggles. We had to ask for extra coat hangers as there were only 3 in each wardrobe which was nowhere near enough for 2 people for 2 weeks. The fridge broke 3 times before being replaced and we had to constantly call reception for it to be topped up with drinks. The jacuzzi jets in our pool were none existent and when addressing these issues maintenance came out but stated they couldn’t do anything about it. It was abit annoying that other rooms had this facility and we didn’t. We had addressed our issues with reception but all we were given was a complimentary fruit bowl and a late check out. We didn’t think this was really enough with the price we had payed for the room. The food in the hotel was very good, each night had different themes and the chefs clearly work very hard. However the buffet style help yourself can be like a school canteen with some evenings having to queue and our food got cold. The drinks were okay, not amazing, the mocktail menu was very small and the beers and wine were mediocre, not 5 star. We ate at the blue bay restaurant one night which was nice, again like other reviews say annoying you are limited as AL guests. The dining room host in the main restaurant Thanasis was super lovely and always greeted us with a warm welcome. There was also a young girl called Rafaela who served us most days who was also lovely and chatty. We were really looking forward to using the spa facilities however we were disappointed to be told they do not treat women who are pregnant apart from a facial which didn’t suit. Having had many pregnancy massages in the UK you would expect a 5 start hotel to offer this. The entertainment was very poor quality unfortunately so we stayed in our room most nights which is unusual for us. Overall we had a good holiday and made the most of it, the hotel is of a good standard however do not expect luxuries and 5 star treatment, the pictures make it look better. If you are looking for a quiet holiday in a small resort consider another hotel.

My husband I am booked a swim up, limited sea view room with red carpet so when we turned up to the hotel, we were advised that we would actually be staying in the ‘residency’ across the road. A golf buggy arrived to take us and our luggage to the alternative hotel.
I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first not to be staying in the main hotel but this quickly changed when I saw the residency hotel, our room and our swim up pool. The hotel is modern, quiet & you have everything that you need within this part of the resort. We had access to the Blue Bay restaurant for breakfast which was lovely and offered à la carte options, made to order. I highly recommend trying all options available but the ‘eggs the Greek way’ was really nice! The Sky Bar was reserved for residency guests until 6pm and was always quiet and a nice place to relax. There is an outdoor infinity pool that can be used until the same time and although only 10 sun beds, these were always easy to get.
Our room was cleaned daily and we received a turndown service at around 6pm each night. Our recommendation would be that they offer ‘do not disturb’ tags for the doors as the maids did tend to just walk in.. I will leave that one there!
We have visited a number of 5* hotels but something that we really liked about the residency was that all drinks throughout the day were served in very nice glassware. Unlike at the main resort where drinks were served in plastic cups throughout the day around the pool area.
We only actually visited the main pool once as we had everything we needed in the residency but we were given a free sunbed for one day so we decided to make use of this. I must admit, had we stayed on this side of the hotel all week, I can imagine our experience would have been very different! We found the pool unclean, the floor was gritty and there appeared to be a lot of female hair floating around.. the pool is also very warm so do not expect it to cool you down from the heat. I understand this can’t be helped due to the weather.
The food was very nice. We always found something enjoyable in the buffet restaurant, there was plenty of choice and the signage for the food was the best I’ve seen. Everything was always very clearly labelled. We visited the Ginger restaurant and Blue Bay - both were very nice and my reviews of these can be found via my profile.
Overall, we had a lovely week in room 714 and would recommend friends and family to visit. However as I mentioned previously, I would only return or recommend staying as a residency guest.

On arriving at this hotel we greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and a cold towel. The check in was swift and we were given our keys. The porter took us to our premium sea view room in the beach buggy with our luggage. On entering the large room it looked just like the brochure but when he pulled back the curtain all you could see was trees and hardly no sea.I actually paid more for full sea views. I asked if there were any other rooms and told quite adamantly that there were none. I said I paid for a sea view but he shrugged his shoulders. Not happy with this I did eventually spoke with reception and they asked if I wanted to see a room that had just been vacated. I told the staff that the porter should not voice on matters that are not of his concern!! Having seen the smaller room though with great sea views, I accepted the swap as it was on a higher level, although it maybe not a premium room?? because it was smaller and had less drawers and cupboards. Our luggage was transferred after the room had been cleaned. This was the only point that upset me as I had specifically paid the upgrade as it was my husband’s special birthday. There was a bottle of wine and small cake left in our fridge which was a pleasant surprise. The staff are all lovely and polite and happy to make small talk. The buffet food HB option was good with plenty of choice. Each night had a theme which made it non repetitive. The sea was on a sandy pebbly beach that stretched out along the bay. The grounds are landscaped with a variety of plants. The main pool although busy still had space for everyone to swim or play in. The smaller quiet pool was out of the way and not sure if we would be able to use. There is a bus service which runs to other towns from outside the main gates. The hotel have their own coach service to Rhodes old town and Lindos which we also used. Our room was very clean with a small fridge, coffee machine, tea bags, sugar and milk. The coffee pods are chargeable if HB. The showers are great with white bath and hand towels provided. The toiletries are so nice to use. Robes and slippers found in the cupboard together with ironing board and iron. Overall a really nice resort and would like to visit again

We’re glad to hear that your overall experience was positive, and that you enjoyed the resort’s amenities, the lovely staff, and the buffet's variety. We’re sorry to hear about the initial disappointment with your room. We understand how important it was for you to have the full sea view, especially for your husband’s special birthday. It’s great to know that the team was able to offer you a room swap with a better view. Allow us to mention that both rooms provided were the room types you had booked. Your feedback regarding the porter’s handling of the situation will be taken on board so we can improve communication and ensure that these issues are handled more smoothly in the future. We spent a week in this lovely hotel, with all inclusive. We had a junior swim up room with limited sea view. It was very comfortable, spacy and very big terrace in the corner of the building. The weather was very hot, so this was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a holiday.
Rooms are cleaned daily and we noticed that they have cleaning products per room to prevent any bacteria spreading. The whole hotel is spotless thanks to very effective cleaning ladies.
The food in the hotel main restaurant was versatile, chanching daily, and there were so many delicious options of mediterranean and international cuisine that we had hard time to choose! We also had a lovely dinner in Blue Bay restaurant.
The hotel has very beautiful pool area and the garden has lots of trees, flovers, hedges and exotic plants that are taken care of daily. We were very surprized and pleased to see that the stray cats in the hotel area are in good care. The hotel staff gives them food daily and they have small shelters in the hotel area. These cats kept their distance to customers so I believe no one had any problem with them.
There were live entertainments in the evening and special themes daily. The hotel app helps you to find more info about the restaurants, activitities etc. The staff really wants to make your holiday perfect in all areas, and we thank you all for our amazing experience.

Wow, where to start.... To set the scene, I am virtually impossible to please, I like the finer things in life and was slightly nervous about what to expect after reading a few reviews and being a loyal Sani and Ikos client our standards are set high, however this hotel along with all of its staff, is fabulous! The check in staff were incredibly friendly and upon check in informed us that we had been upgraded from our Junior Suite swim up limited sea view room to a Junior Suite beach front room the following day. Our first junior suite was great, the room was clean, had everything you needed and they had complimentary sandwiches sent to our room due to our late arrival, which was a really nice touch. The swim up pool was clean along with all other areas of the hotel. We booked this very last minute and went all inclusive, which I was again nervous about, we rarely do AI. It was soon clear that there was nothing to be nervous about, the hotel offered ample food options in their main dinning area, with different themes each night. The food was always incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The hotel has several other restaurants, all of which are of a very high standard. All the staff were incredibly attentive and just wanted to please. The pool bar staff were particularly brilliant, always smiling and bringing a great vibe to your day. Our next room was the beach front junior swim up suite which was really lovely, we couldn't fault it. Again the swim up pool was clean, you had a private terrace with a double sun lounger and you also got two private sun loungers on a grass area in front of the room, right next to the beach. We booked the Red carpet services with the room, I'd really recommend this. They are in a separate building behind the hotel with incredible views. There is a private bar, another pool and a lovely restaurant where you can have breakfast, a nice break from the main hotel one. The hotel has a brilliant shop, literally has everything you could possibly think of in it and all reasonably priced. The beach is pebbled, there are pathways for you to walk on but getting in and out of the sea isn't the most glamorous sight. Once your in the crystal clear water, you are greeted with stunning views of the beach and surrounding landscape. We hired a boat for a few hours one day off the guys on the beach, you can also hire other sports equipment, we were lucky enough to see turtles. The hotel spa is well worth a visit, we had a couple of treatments which were of an exceptional level. The hotel is well positioned to go off and explore. We hired a car for the entire trip which was cheaper than our quoted transfers, we also like getting out and about so made sense. Old town Rhodes is really lovely to visit, especially at night. All in all, I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. It was at full capacity when we went and we never once felt over crowded. The staff can't do enough for you and you have everything that you need! Thank you for looking after us so well.

We are returning home today after a weeks stay here and very sad to be leaving. This was the perfect choice for our honeymoon and we would definitely return.
We arrived around 11.30pm to be greeted by two team members, one who checked us in swiftly and the other who helped with our cases off the bus, gave us a glass of bubbles then took us to our room in a golf buggy and carried our cases in. We had a sandwich each and a stocked mini bar as we’d missed dinner which was a nice surprise.
We booked half board in a swim up room and wondered whether we should have upgraded to all inclusive but were now glad we didn’t as I don’t think we’d have got the benefit of it.
Our room was in the 400 block which is set back from the main hotel so in a quiet location. We stocked our fridge daily with refreshments and snacks so we didn’t really venture down to the main pool and have drinks down there.
The room was a great size, spotlessly cleaned each day, bottled water delivered each morning and a turndown service with a chocolate on your pillow each night!
The food was really good also with a great buffet choice breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate in the Mylos restaurant one evening and the food was fantastic - try the beef fillet its delicious!
Kolymbia itself has a few lovely restaurants, Taverna Ouzaki was a lovely Greek restaurant on the Main Street and the Italian on the side street at the side of the hotel Rosso Di Sera was amazing!
This was a fantastic holiday and look forward to coming back!
