After reading some good reviews about this resort I thought Id give it a go..TUI and First choice categorise it as ***** too. so thought it pretty much risk free. My goodness, how wrong could it be. The food was absolutely disgusting...no other word for it. (photos attached)...my school dinners looked like Michelin starred food in comparison. Much of it was luke warm at best and dried out, poor quality. We had upset stomachs on 2 occasions. As for the drinks too...DIY wine from a pump dispenser that really should have been served with the chips and salt as a decent vinegar, the rest of the drinks on the all inclusive were all soooo poor too, Entertainment was a step below butlins..so if you like cheap nasty holiday camps then this may be alright. For the money I probably shouldn't have expected any more and if you go, as long as you are thinking caravan parks or butlins you might find it acceptable..for me it was probably the most awful place I have been..if I could have got on a plane home earlier I would have.

Dear JayDee72, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback albeit it being 2.5 years since your holiday... We consider your review after so long time at least harsh, unfair and suspicious. The Holiday Village Rhodes is a 5 star family concept Hotel and we consistently receive excellent feedback from many happy and satisfied families. With regards the food if you were not satisfied or could not find food that you liked available you could have informed a member of staff who could have arranged a meeting with a member of our food and beverage department. In the meeting they could have discussed with you all of your concerns and suggest solutions. This could have been easily arranged. All the necessary precautions are taken in regards to food preparation, have you reported at the hotel about the upset stomach? We checked our logs but nothing was found. To finalize it is important to us to review less positive feedback to help us to continue to grow and improve, therefore we thank you for the review.

Me my husband and 2 of our daughters ages 20 and 10 stayed here for 11 nights in October 2020, we was ment to be going Tenerife but was cancelled and we found this 2 days before flying so was quite quick, first impressions was beautiful we stayed in the relax area with swim up bar and the room right facing with a little jacuzzi on the steps outside the room, very clean and great atmosphere, the only thing for me was having to walk right across the complex every day for breakfast dinner tea there was a snack van near relax but not everyday as it was very repetative, i understand if u stay in deluxe you have you own resteraunt so maybe this would be a better choice, for a 5 star hotel would not rate the food at all ive stayed in 3 star with better qaulity and range of food than there, we managed to get in to both al carte resteraunt for a meal one is like a tgi fridays and the other is an italian had a nice night in both, irish pub bit scruffy for such a nice place but it was ok, overall had a nice holiday the entertainment is focused on the kids very very loud over at activity but thats what holidays are about perfect for familys with small kids, but would i go again? no its not for me i prefer smaller hotels surrounded with shops bars resteraunt near a lively beach and, it was a nice comfortable stay but quiet boring maybe if they had something on at relax pool at night time instead of us having to go over the other side it would of been better small tweeks could make it much more enjoyable i think, i enjoyed star bar round the corner from hotel loads for kids to do lovely cocktails and nice food all the sports on aswell we spent a lot of our time here.

Dear Carlandlisa2011, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, We do want all of our guests expectations to be met so we are saddened to read we did not achieve this for you, from your review it seems that you were happy and satisfied with most of the hotels facilities. We are pleased you found the hotel to be very clean, and you enjoyed your meal at the A La Carte. Indeed our hotel is a family hotel, focusing on small children with many different choices to keep the happy. We are saddend to read you were disappointed with the food and drinks available, we do our best to cater for all and offer a wide variety of options. All of your feedback will be passed through to the relevant departments as it is very important to us to thoroughly review less positive comments to further improve the product and services of our hotel as it is our aim to provide the best guest service and to continuously improve ourselves. We wish you all the best

The hotel is spot on the staff are friendly and the pools are great with an amazing waterpark, when it comes to food the buffet is good always different foods but trying to get into 1 of the a la carte restaurants is impossible. I would advise if you have teenage kids to find different entertainment we ended up in our rooms most nights as its more for 4-5 year olds but all in all a good holiday

This is probably the best holiday me and my son have had even with the Covid restrictions. We stayed in one of the 6 separate villas on the complex which has its own private garden and pool. The pool was a decent size and the garden had a couple of sun loungers. The majority of our holiday was spent either in or around the pool so I cant really comment on the hotels other facilities. The only downside to staying in this type of room is the walk to the nearest pool bar for the all inclusive drinks. There is a small fridge in the room which gets stocked up daily with a couple of cans of lager, pop and water. The villa is in the deluxe area so you get exclusive use of the deluxe restaurant which is only a couple of mins walk away. We never had to queue to be seated in the deluxe restaurant and found the food to be of good standard with plenty of choice. Breakfast time is 7.00 to 11.00 lunch is 12.00 to 14.00 and evening meal is 18.00 to 21.00. There is also the Italian and American themed restaurants which both can be used once each per week stay. We booked a private taxi transfer from the airport which took us approximately 30mins. The hotel is a 5min walk to the pebbly beach which to be honest we only visited for the water sports activity. We hired Jet Skis for 40euros for 20mins and a small speed boat for 60euros for 60mins. Check out time is 11.00 and as we were not being picked up by our taxi unit 21.00 we paid for a late check out at reception which cost us 90euros, first choice had wanted £135 pound at the time of booking. The hotel was the cleanest I have stayed in, the room was cleaned inside and out and the bedding changed daily. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning soon.

After a horrendous first half of 2020 Atlantica holiday village Rhodes provided us with an amazing break. The food was very good although there was not as much choice as other first choice villages we have visited. But the rooms were fantastic and regularly cleaned and we loved our swim up room. Thankyou for providing a lovely break from the stress back at home!
