I would like to start this review by saying thank you to all of the amazing staff at The Anavadia Hotel who have made this a holiday we will never forget. Each and everyone of you has gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Evita on reception is extremely kind and hardworking and upgraded us to a suite on arrival, which for three of us was perfect and had beautiful views over the mountains. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean and the maid service is fantastic. The food in the restaurant and the staff working there was also brilliant. We were shocked with the range of food provided and it was great to see so many vegetarian options. If that wasn’t enough, the relaxed evening atmosphere and barmen made us want to stay in the hotel most evenings. The entertainment each night was also brilliant and appealed to all ages. The two pools were also clean and lovely to spend the day by. One pool was quieter and had a more relaxed atmosphere and the second played music and was more upbeat, we never had trouble finding sun-beds at either pool. The beach is a short walk away and there are bars not far from the hotel. We also ventured to Falaraki for the evening and into Rhodes old town. The reception staff were extremely helpful with directions and the hotel taxi man Valentis was extremely friendly and trustworthy which meant a lot when travelling as a group of three girls. The Anavadia hotel is a three star hotel and I feel previous reviews have been extremely harsh. The staff work so hard to make you feel like you are staying in a five star hotel and everything about the hotel has exceeded our expectations. I would love to return to Anavadia hotel and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. We have made memories we will never forget and friends that will last a lifetime, thank you Anavadia.

So so disappointed. Food isn’t good, staff are very miserable and don’t lay the tables for you. Have to pay for WiFi. Isn’t a 4* hotel- they simply gave themselves 4*s. Truly disappointing. Not everything is in included in the price, all bar snacks and paid for. The pool was so dirty and the other pool had algae water running into it. Showers are pretty dirty and grotty. Air con hardly works and leaks a lot

We stayed here for 9 nights in June, all inclusive. The staff- They were friendly enough and easy to speak to. It’s hard to really comment as we didn’t have much interaction with the staff. The Room- It was clean and tidy upon arrival. When the house keeping staff came in daily I’m not too sure if they actually changed the sheets or just made the bed? In the corner of one of the blankets there was a small stain, after the housekeeping staff had been in, the bed was made but the stain was still there. The air conditioning is a bit limp too, you can’t really feel it is on. The WiFi around the hotel isn’t great either, really weak. I used 4G most of the time. Food & Drink- Firstly the drinks, you can have about 15 cocktails and won’t feel remotely tipsy. All drinks are served in ridiculously small glasses too! After about 3 sips you are done. During our stay they ran out of lemonade and the coke just tasted like fizzy water. The food doesn’t warrant much praise either. Everything is lukewarm and served with rice and pasta. The meat is generally quite fatty and tasteless. The breakfast is very nice, there is a selection of meats, cereals and fruits on offer. There are two pool areas. One at the front and one at the back. We stayed at the one at the back as this had more sun loungers and played music aloud. We also visited Kolympia and Tamsbika beach. Kolympia was sandy and also rocky. A really busy beach but very nice. Tamsbika was a €3 ride from the hotel using the hotels shuttle bus. A sandy beach that is very shallow with restaurants along the front. Also a very busy beach. When we were going to Tamsbika we were pulled over by the police and the driver didn’t seem too happy. Not too sure what that was about... On a final note, it wasn’t an expensive holiday so if your aim is to just completely relax and not do anything in a minimal setting then Anavadia could be an option. Fairly cheap and cheerful.

We stayed for 7 nights from the 16th of june.We had heard others mention about food for late arrivals but we weren't offered anything..not even a drink. We arrived about 12:30 am so had a few drinks before the bar shut at 1am, the barman with the beard is lovely. Our room was full of mosquitoes and the aircon didn't work. I have about 60 bites on me if not more and my partner isnt far behind, and this is just from 3 days in this room. The lovely receptionist changed us rooms after 3 days and this one was better, but had ants everywhere. The rooms were tidied daily but i dont think they cleaned the bathroom at all. The drinks were so weak they might as well have been soft drinks,we asked the other barman who wasn't so nice for a vodka by itself to be told i wasn't allowed because i may get drunk...i didn't...at all in 7 nights. States all inclusive but you can't have drinks you want and also you have to pay for snacks.Over all our holiday wasn't amazing but we still enjoyed ourselves. Wouldn't visit this hotel again though.
