Sunshine Rhodes Hotel enjoys a prime location favored by many guests for its closeness to beaches and local amenities. While the hotel's atmosphere and cleanliness receive commendations, particularly for the pristine pools, travelers have voiced concerns over the dated condition of rooms and the overall value for money. Some reviewers have praised the staff's friendliness but noted service can sometimes lag, particularly in maintenance. The hotel's amenities offer a mix of satisfaction and critique, with entertainment options and spacious rooms, albeit with some outdated elements.

In my opinion, it's not a 4 star hotel.
The rooms feel like early 90s and the air conditioning was limited, the food at the restaurant was low average and the drinks at the all includive bar were disgusting. You cannot even have a normal drinks menu by paying, you are stuck with the all inclusive crap alcohol! I was hoping for more value for the price.

Balcony and pool area in fantastic (even though pool closes very early), view from the restaurant is amazing and the location is conveniently close to Rodos city and the airport.
The personnel was extremely friendly and I felt very safe in terms of COVID measures.

I rate my stay in this hotel positively. The facility is well-kept, although the infrastructure is tired. It was profitable to buy a sea view, on the one hand, a wonderful view, and on the other, a room without any major problems (working air conditioning, because there were Polish guests who changed the room even 4 times for broken air condition). However, places are created not by equipment but by people.
And in this case, the people working there deserve the highest rating. Starting with the cleaning ladies (rooms cleaned daily) to the people working in the restaurant. Staff working at the reception desk of Yana, Nikolet, Katerina and Dana deserve recognition, we have witnessed professionalism and human understanding for people in problematic situations many times. These employees were always ready to advise and help in any other matter (e.g. ordering a taxi or recommending good restaurants in the area, they were often ordinary conversations). Thank you especially for the kind service Seva and Vladimir! A whole group of Bily's animators.
The food is very tasty, and the evening LIVE Cooking performed by Chef Fotis is delicious, especially the prawns (so when you are in this hotel, I recommend asking the chef when this dish will be served - unforgettable emotions). I recommend this hotel, but only with such a professional team, because without them it is just a hotel.

My family chose this hotel because it was one of the cheapest options and it looked the nicest. I mean the hotel kind of looked like the pictures but there were some differences. When we first went into the room the key for the light wouldn't work. Keep in mind it was 3 am and we were all tiered. We had to go all the way back down to reception to get a new one. It didn't work again until we played around with the console above the switches. The bathrooms were the most modern things about the rooms as they were all marble however, it was dirty and had spiders and cobwebs. The bath plug wouldn't work either. The beds in the room were rock solid and no blankets were provided to sleep with. The doors were also very confusing to lock. We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and for 2 of those days there were dirty plates outside our rooms building. The all inclusive buffet was different because of Covid. You waited in a line and then the staff would get you
what you wanted. In my opinion some of the staff were rude and gave me dirty looks when i got my food. The view of the beach was beautiful though. The food was okay, not much selection. I didn't see one person other then staff use masks once throughout the whole holiday. The mini disco guy was loud and obnoxious and almost had my ears bleeding because he was screaming through the microphone. The baby shark wasn't very much appreciated either. I wouldn't say this was a 4 star hotel maybe 3 and a half pushing it.

We are currently staying in this hotel and we are very impressed to say the least, everything is nearby airport is 10 minutes away and old Rhodes town is €15 in a taxi. Facilities are great with 4 pools, 2 bars and in a beautiful town with a great range of cocktail bars and restaurants in short walking distance. The hotel room looks right onto the beach with a gorgeous view and the beach beds are free! Large range of different nationalities which is nice and all staff are so friendly and approachable makes you feel very at home! Entertainment is great, cocktails and ice cream is also free so there no extras you have to pay for.

It’s very hard to find an all inclusive with such a great range of food, different themes every night means you never have to eat the same thing twice! The chef cooks a special dish fresh in-front of you every night and I must say he is very talented and the food he provides for me and my other half is exceptional! Beautiful place and beautiful people we will be visiting again!

I’m currently staying here with my other half to get away from the whole Covid-19 situation and stress of work. I must say I strongly recommend this hotel because as soon as you step within the hotel you are welcomed with a smile. All of the staff are so friendly and constantly ensuring that you are happy and enjoying your time.

When booking the hotel I didn’t expect a lot from the food selection but I must say I was surprised by the range of food in order. The food is different every night with an amazing special which is made by very talented chef and I would recommend trying it every night! All of the food is fresh and different theme of food every day.

For 4 stars hotel the facilities are outstanding! These included 3 pools one being a child’s pool, assess to the beach with free sunbeds and the room has amazing view of the beach and other Greek islands. Another bonus is the hotel is surrounded by many amazing restaurants, shops and bars. It is also 10 minutes taxi away from the airport and 15 minutes ride to the old town!

Overall, I will be coming back here again and would strongly recommend it to you as we are having the time of our life out here!

We stayed here for 7 days and this is definitely not a 4 star hotel, 2 at most! The rooms are nothing like the pictures advertised - very old and grimey and were only
Cleaned twice during our stay (which was only
bed made and fresh towels). They were also dangerous with flooding from the shower across the floor of the bathroom and electrical faults everywhere. Air con didn’t work and was told this is not turned on until June, so rooms were very hot in 28-30 degree heat. Food was awful, we ended up eating out every day and spending a lot more money than we had intended. There is no luggage room to store luggage when you are going home - they do have lockers outside which are €2 but there is not a lot of these so if you have a late flight and no lockers are available you are expected to just leave them at the side of the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location on the beach, walking distance from restaurants and bars and not far in a taxi to Rhodes main town. Lots of other nice hotels in the area that I wished we had chosen instead.

The entertainment team were also very friendly!

A very nice hotel with very kind staff and great views since it is in front of the beach of Ialyssos. The facilities on the beaches are free. The view of the rooms is very good they see the sea and the other facilities are also very good. The food is very tasty, with a great variety of all foods, salads and desserts. The restaurant and buffet areas are spotless and comply with all safety precautions for the covid-19.

We have stayed in this hotel for a week with small child. It is great option to stay on all inclusive with baby in this hotel, because every day on breakfast, dinner and lunch were something to feed to small child and she was satisfied. As well as for adults, especially chiefs dinner, five stars for shrimps.
Hotel is located 10-15 minutes by taxi is city Rhodes and 17-20 minutes from airport.
Rooms was spacious, everything needed was provided (can’t tell about blow dryer, it was in a room, but hasn’t been used), but could be cleaner.

Me & my boyfriend had a lovely 2 week stay here end of July. Despite initial nerves about travelling in the pandemic, it was all a breeze. Also, as always people moaning in the reviews always make you a little nervous. Please ignore them!

Our room was nice & modern, we had a big seaview balcony - a must for those views & the sunset for not much more than a garden view. There were 2 pools open, with pool bars - the queues were big at the main bar but luckily the second one opened in the 2nd week so that was better. Otherwise there was a shop on the resort & we were a stone's throw away from shops/bars/ resturants outside too so location wise was perfect. The restaurant had an amazing view. The food was good, had a good mix best meal being dinner as there were themed nights. Right on the beach - stoney so remember sea shoes! The sunsets were amazing!

The only downside was from covid that you couldn't serve yourself water/ drinks so queues were long & same at the buffet. So we did end up eating out but didn't mind. Also the main restaurant was so hot/ no Aircon so that wasn't nice. Sadly the a la carte restaurants weren't open but this just meant we got to try the amazing restaurants nearby (Kostas/ Cafe Mare/ Cake Box/ Portatif bar)

Apart from that it was a lovely stay & highly recommend. Special shout out to Babou & Billy for providing great entertainment they were brilliant & super friendly!!
