From arriving at the hotel the staff were excellent, the bungalow we booked on half board was super clean, the food was good with quite a lot of choice, unless you have allergies, most main fishies had advice on them about these but desserts and salad extras did not, items containing cheese were not listed as having milk, once we asked they changed this, the chief was good giving my wife a tour of items she could have,. A few our points, being half board watch out for the hidden extras, water at evening meal is not free, nor are the safety boxes in the rooms, €30 for the two weeks. The other thing is the pool the two entertainers were good, but would play the same music over and over again, hearing it four or five times over a few hours did get boring. Overall this is a great hotel with great staff but only giving 4 stars due to the following reason and this is the resort not the hotel, you are 10 minutes from the airport and right under the flight path, either landing or taking off, sometimes 40+ a day, none of this is mentioned when booking the holiday so going to this area ask about this. If this hotel and staff were in a different location it would of been 5 star plus…

Where do I start with this place...honestly the best holiday I have ever had. The hotel was everything you could ask for and more. The staff were amazing, Larry the amazing bar man was an absolute gentleman- always smiling, willy and Ben were hilarious, kept us entertained for the whole 10 days- genuinely lovely lovely guys and we will miss them both. The cleaners were always so friendly and left us lovely towel shapes on the bed daily. So gutted to be going home- dream holiday with the most amazing staff, food, views and atmosphere. Will miss you all and cannot wait to go back!

Perfect from the moment you walk through the door. Such friendly people, reception, cleaners,restaurant staff, lifeguard, everyone had a smile and they all remembered us. I asked to change my Pillow as it was too hard, it was done straightaway with no fuss. The room was clean and spacious and quiet although inland, once the doors were closed it was fine. The food was out of this world, even the fussiest eater could not find fault, i have never seen such a selection and all hot and fresh. A real gem. Not far from the shops, restaurants or taxi rank. Reasonably priced taxis. A really lovely holiday thanks mainly to the people.

Very good hotel with nice atmosphere. Good food, nice people and especially great animation duo Willy&Ben 🙂. We joined stretching, beach volley, darts, karaoke, music quizz etc. Only 20 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Rhodes old town.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting. Stayed for two weeks in a third floor room with amazing sea and pool views. We stayed half board and the food was lovely, waking up every morning and going to the breakfast room was a delight. The hotel is immaculate including the pool area and gardens. Friendly staff, big shout out for the life guard who goes above and beyond to help everybody, great with kids, I watched him go over to help a disabled person and heard him say when you need help, I’m here. We will definitely return.

Myself and my friend went here for a breakaway We were upgraded to the new bungalows and wow are they stunning - absolutely Only a stretch from the beach and poolside as we had beach and poolside views Good was stunning with so many choices to choose from Local shops were wonderful Staff in hotel and local shops were so helpful and friendly Beach was cobble stones - so no sand in toes Spectacular place to visit

This Hotel should not be confused with the Rhodos Horizon Blu which is closer to Rhodes town than the Blue Horizon Hotel in these reviews, Jet2 are mistakenly using this hotel's reviews on their web page for the Rhodos Horizon Blue ,they need to get their act together, incidentally the Rhodos Horizon Blu was excellent.

The hotel is spotless so clean and our bed was so comfy. The evening meals are bit hit and miss but the staff are lovely. The air con gets turned off mid October so bear that in mind, and good location for local restaurants and bars,none of which were overly lively on our visit.

Excellent stay. Location was spot on. Staff friendly apart from one receptionist who was a little unhelpful. Nice touch with fruit and wine in the room. All in all a great holiday 😀 I would probably not stay here again as I was an English guest staying in a majority of German and Dutch.

Text: Me and a friend stayed for 7 days late September. 2 other friends were also staying We stayed in a twin room with sea view and they had a bungalow. We all had a wonderful time. The room was clean and tidy and maintained throughout the week by the friendly maids. The bathroom was clean , bright and modern , the towels changed every day. The room had a kettle and tea / coffee making was a pleasant extra. We had a balcony with a table and chairs for relaxing times with views of the sea and pool. The main restaurant was well laid out with a varied menu to suit all tastes.Breakfast was an absolute delight again with lots of variety We was on a half board basis which suited us very well. There was some activities around the pool for those happy to join in. In the evening there was local entertainment supported by friendly bar staff , waiters and waitresses. If this didn’t suit we visited the local bars for our entertainment. Overall 5 out of 5 and can definitely recommend 👍👍👍👍👍…
