We arrived at Trianta Hotel Apartments at the end of September for an 11 day break just before local restrictions were implemented in Cardiff. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment (301). Travel time from our door to theirs was just under 7 hours. Happy bunnies. First impressions were great. We were welcomed, smoothly checked in and shown to our apartment which was very spacious. There was a large bedroom with attached bathroom, dining/living room with a cooker, fridge freezer and all necessary utensils, and a huge balcony accessible from both the bedroom and living room. Beds were very comfortable (for Greece!) and we always had a good nights sleep. We did bring familiar pillows from home though, which helped a lot. Bathroom was spotless and modern, with a walk-in shower. Be careful as there's no lip to the shower, so if you don't use the supplied bathmat in a strategic location it may result in the floor getting wet and slippery. Wi-Fi was free for the duration, but reception was patchy in our room. Good enough for what we needed it for though and the rest of the time we used our 4G. (Tip - take an Echo dot. You won't regret it!). Aircon was extra (I can't remember how much, but I think around €5 a day). Safe was also extra. We didn't stay B&B, but those who did all said that breakfast was great and they could never eat it all. Plenty of sunbeds available for us to use around the pool. The pool itself was a godsend to us. Cool and refreshing and big enough to have a few people in there whilst still keeping distance between us. The beach was around 10 mins walk away. The cleaner was brilliant. Serviced the rooms every day without fail. Beds made every day, sheets changed every couple of days. New towels daily. There were a multitude of restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the local area. If we needed any help or advice, the family would always provide it. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our holiday twice, ending up staying 25 days instead of the original 11 :-) All in all a fabulous well-needed break. The staff and facilities were all great. Thank you, and we hope to see you again very soon! Jon & Sally…
A last we got away and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. We have never stayed in a hotel so clean. This is a family run hotel who are very friendly and helpful. We had a studio apartment which had plenty of room and the balcony overlooked the swimming pool and had sun on it all day. The hotel is not situated with all the other hotels but is in easy reach of them and eating places.and it is near the bus stop to Rhodes Town. This is only a 2* hotel but we wouldn’t class it as that
So spotlessly clean, the room and all common inside and outside areas. Friendly and helpful family run hotel. Pleasant bar area and pool. Felt entirely safe in these difficult Covid times. The local beach a casual 15 minute stroll. Regular buses to Rhodes town. Bus stop just around the corner. Small well stocked supermarket nearby. Very good choice of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Overall we agree with most of the previous reviews, most mention the friendliness of the management, they are until you need some help with alternative travel to the airport,I was just given the phone to talk to the operative in which I could not understand.expensive pint of beer at €4.cheaper in the uk!. A special mention must go to the cleaner ‘Anna’she was brilliant.also just to mention the sea front was very run down with many businesses shut.the beach is gravel&stones, not very inviting.
