Nestled on a scenic beachfront, The Ixian Grand & All Suites - Adults Only Hotel strikes a balance between relaxation and entertainment, featuring live music in a serene setting. While some guests have commented on the dated aspects of the hotel, the staff's friendly and professional service, particularly in the spa, has earned high praise. Opinions on the rooms vary, with cleanliness and modern amenities being appreciated, but some dissatisfaction with the views and maintenance. Despite the cleanliness and range of amenities like pools and beach access, some travelers feel the hotel does not offer good value, pointing to overpriced services and extra charges.

First of all, apologies for the quite long review but I like to write the sort of reviews that I like to read. I love to try to find out as much detail as I can before I decide on a place to book and I want to make sure I do this great hotel justice. I’ve split the review up into sections as much as I can, so if there’s just one particular thing you’re interested in, you can skip to it.

First impressions & our room

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 18th-29th May. We got an early flight from Stansted so we were at the hotel for 2pm. First impression was really strong as we were greeted on arrival by a polite, smiling man who took our bags and the check-in was quick and painless. We were told our room would be ready at 3 but we could have lunch in the buffet which was still open. We had something to eat and a quick mooch around the grounds and we could then go into our room which was a ‘design inland view’ room.
The room was very spacious, modern, sleek and clean. We had a large wardrobe with about 10 hangers included as well as a safe. For all the space in the room I felt there could have been some more storage for clothes, perhaps some drawers somewhere.
The bathroom was lovely. A walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead. The temperature was sometimes a bit volatile while the water ran but otherwise absolutely perfect. I noticed that my razor charging plugs didn’t fit the socket that they had in the bathroom, so if you have a toothbrush or razor that needs one of those to recharge, make sure you bring an extra adapter just in case.
The bed was quite firm compared to what we’re used to at home, although we are a bit spoilt with our memory foam topped bed at home so most other mattresses will feel quite solid by comparison. You have a choice of fat and thin pillows, too.
The room was cleaned every day, even when we didn’t light up the ‘please clean our room’ signal outside our door. Towels were swapped out daily as well, which was much appreciated.

Facilities

The hotel has a mini mart which stocks basically anything you might need or little essentials you forgot to pack, like toothpaste, suncream, even travel wash if you fancy doing some laundry on your holiday.
There’s also a jewelry shop and hire car desk in the main lobby area. Outside, you’ll find the spa & gym.
The spa ladies will collar you pretty soon after you arrive and try to offer you their services. Their prices are a little higher than we were used to back home, but they are able to negotiate down on some treatment prices. So if you're interested, don't just take what they offer at face value.
Our only usage of the gym was to shower & change on our last day, as we weren't due to be picked up for our flight until 8pm but had to be checked out by 11am. You could pay for late checkout at roughly 15 euros per extra hour, but the gym has lockers, clean towels, shower cubicles & shower products all provided, so we saw no need in paying to keep the room.

Food & drink

The main buffet restaurant is called Vis A Vis, so this is where you get your breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. There’s a choice of indoor or outdoor seating there.
As an all-inclusive guest you get one visit to an a la carte restaurant included in your stay - either the Greek or the Asian. Suite guests get exclusive access to their own restaurant - Alazonia. As ‘standard’ guests, we had the buffet every day and chose one visit to the Greek restaurant, more on that later!
For the breakfast buffet, you had the classic bacon, eggs, cereals, pancakes, cold meat etc all on offer. But one thing I didn’t enjoy was the absence of regular pork sausages, there were just frankfurters and sometimes Greek sausage. A small thing that annoyed me at first, but the rest of the breakfast offerings made up for it. Tea and coffee have to be ordered, fruit juices (orange, apple and pineapple) and water are all self-service from the Asian restaurant counter next to the main buffet station.

At lunch and dinner, there was always some grilled chicken/pork/fish, a salad station, pizza, chips and pasta dishes (Bolognese, pasta with tomato sauce and one other), along with different dishes in the steam trays.
A special mention for the chips, which I thought were excellent. I’d argue that they were close to chip shop standard from back home which, for a hotel buffet 2,000 miles away from the UK, is very impressive. It shouldn't really come as a surprise though, the Greeks know their chips!
Pizzas are freshly made in their bespoke pizza oven and they're also a very good standard. Even the fussiest of eaters will find something to eat each day from the buffet (because who doesn't like chips?)

Every night is a themed night of some sort at the buffet. The different themes are: International (your guess is as good as mine), Greek, BBQ, Italian, Rhodesian, Asian fusion & fish. They stick to the theming pretty well each night while still offering the staple dishes I mentioned before. I would've liked to have seen more local cuisine on show during lunches and dinners in the buffet and not just have it restricted to Greek/Rhodesian night, but that’s a very minor criticism.
Desserts are typically mousse cakes and filo pastry, there's always fresh fruit and ice cream available too (with sauces and toppings to add, if you so wish). Service was generally good but sometimes just too slow to refresh drinks unless you're able to collar a passing server. At times we were sat for ten minutes or more, watching waiters walk past us without checking on us and it was a bit dispiriting, but not a regular occurrence.

The Greek a la carte - Milonges - was fine but unspectacular. We had deep fried courgette sticks to start, pork kontosouvli for main and pudding was filo pastry nests with ice cream and chocolate sauce. None of the food was brilliant, the pork in particular was a huge portion and inevitably some of the meat had dried out. The dessert was probably the nicest course but because of the size of the main I had hardly any room left for it!

A snack bar is open next to the pool bar during the day. They offer sweet treats like chocolate cake or ice cream as well as savoury wraps and makeshift gyros. We rarely had anything from there as we were usually full up from the buffet! Whenever we did have anything it was just ice cream or cake, for when we didn't have enough pudding at lunchtime. It's good! I'm glad they have it available.

The cocktails are pre-made and put into big bottles each day to serve as and when they’re ordered. It definitely saves on time but it does affect the quality, as you probably will have read in many other reviews. Unfortunately, each cocktail we tried was really strong and quite unpleasant to drink. However, you can still order a spirit or liqueur with a mixer instead and they’re very nicely made to order, so if we fancied a tipple we’d opt for that. A word as well for the cold chocolate that they offered. It’s just chilled hot chocolate, but I quite enjoyed having at least one of those every day! Mocktails are also served, they’re lovely and refreshing.

Pools

There are three main pools at the hotel, two by the beach separated by decking and one quiet pool by the gardens. The quiet pool only has about a dozen loungers and is also where you can get fresh beach towels every day.

We never had any problem with getting a sunbed by the main pool, even when we would arrive after breakfast at 10:30 or sometimes later. The pool itself is chilly but it's refreshing. The sea is definitely colder! If you fancy a dip in the sea, there’s a jetty on the beach with stepladders for you to climb in and out of the water.
From the sunbed, you can really appreciate what a lovely and picturesque setting you’re a part of. On a clear-ish day you can see the south coast of Turkey. It looks close enough to try swimming to it, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
For feline fans, a group of five or six cats patrol the sunbed area periodically during the day, if you're in the shade they may come and say hello but otherwise they just go about their own business.

Aqua gym with Giulia is a great laugh, it runs every day except Saturday from 11:45-12:15. Giulia's a great instructor and regardless of your fitness level you're made to feel welcome to join the fun.
Overall, the pool area is very clean and the staff do well to keep it that way throughout each day.
Word of warning though, watch where you walk on the grass where most of the sunbeds are. The terrain can be a bit uneven and some divots are well concealed so take extra care, especially if you're carrying drinks!
You can order drinks from your sunbed using the Exclusivi app between 11am-4pm, just enter your parasol number when ordering. From our experience though it was very hit and miss, to put it kindly. Over the course of our stay, I'd say it was a 40-50% success rate on whether we'd actually get our order delivered or not! Luckily, the pool bar is never too far away, so you're only ever - at most - a couple of minutes away from being able to order your drink at the bar instead.

Entertainment

While we stayed, entertainment was outside on the decking between the two main pools.
My favourite act was definitely Il Divos, three male opera singers from South Africa. They perform on Saturday nights and they're well worth watching.
Other acts included Stardust (a singing and dancing group of ladies), a DJ, another band and a violinist. Varying quality across all the acts, I'll let you be the judge of all of them!
Poolside seating for the evening entertainment can be tricky to come by, but all of the sun loungers are available for use and you can sit at the pool bar as well, albeit with a sometimes restricted view of the stage. Depending on your room location you could also take it all in from your balcony, or the main hotel bar has a seating area outside, but I’d only recommend that if you’re a smoker.

The staff were excellent. Always happy, smiling and personable. The only negative against any of them is the occasional long wait for drinks service in the buffet, but it's very easy to look beyond that.

Overall, a wonderful hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our 11 nights here. Lovely staff, good food and a beautiful tranquil setting in which to just relax. My wife and I have been to several adult only all-inclusive hotels dotted around the Mediterranean over the last ten years. I think, out of all of them, this is the one we’d be most likely to come back to.

The first thing to say about the Ixian All Suites is that it is not a standalone resort but very much a part of the main Ixian Grand. There is only one restaurant exclusively for the Suites guests, every other amenity is shared with the main hotel. It is therefore disappointingly, not exclusive, sharing even the reception with the main hotel

There is never a feeling of being in a special place. We stayed in a Premium Swim Up Guestroom. These rooms are, strangely, located on the first floor and have a pretty but small, pool directly accessed from the large windows overlooking the garden.  Unfortunately, there is no outside terrace from the room to the pool,  so you literally step in to the pool as you step out of the windows. The rooms on the ground floor have significantly larger pools and a deck area.

Our room was really modern, though rather minimalist - no separate wardrobe, only a small hanging rail for clothes in the bathroom area.  It was also spotlessly clean and well maintained, but there was no consistency in the housekeeping service - some days our water was replenished, towels changed, and cosmetics replenished and other days not, or only partly. A nice touch was the complimentary bottle of bubbly on arrival in our room.

The grounds of the complex are meticulously maintained and in excellent condition.  There are lovely design touches everywhere. There are two main bars, but because the All Suites share these facilities with the main resort and importantly, guests staying on all-inclusive packages, there is no real feeling of exclusivity. The All Suites feels like an afterthought to attract a more discerning clientele but sadly fails to deliver. The only saving grace here is the Alazonas restaurant, exclusively for All Suites guests. This is a charming place with good food, especially the breakfast, but unfortunately is not open throughout the day, so no snacks or light meals served there at lunchtime.  There is however a full room service.

Having tried one of the other restaurants for dinner, the food was quite average: there are much better offerings nearby in Ialysos beach, just 10 mins walk to the south.

In terms of location, the resort is a little isolated. The nearest bars and restaurants are at least 5 to 10 minute walk away and are of varying quality. The nature of the location does mean it is quiet. Taxis to Rhodes Town take about 10 to 15 minutes and are reasonable.

A quick reminder that this resort is located on the windy side of the island, so the sea is a little choppy and the beach quite narrow and pebbled. This makes it great for wind/water sports but not so good for swimming. Other than the spa, we did not notice any other beach or sports facilities and there didn't appear to be any beach service from the restaurant or bar. It is a quiet resort ideal for couples, but without the special feel of a 5 star experience.

The staff were all immensely friendly and helpful,  genuinely warm and welcoming,  which is so refreshing these days. There is great care and attention to maintaining a Covid safe environment and making you feel welcome.

Having read the reviews on here before we travelled, I was a little apprehensive as not everyone was happy. Having just returned from a 7 night stay, all I can say is that some people must be very hard to please.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had picked the right hotel. After a very late flight, we were greeted with a drink on arrival, and sandwiches, desserts, and fresh frut had been left in our suite.

Our room was superb. A huge comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and the best part? Our little private pool.

The breakfasts in the restaurant had so much choice and eveything was cooked to the highest standard. Staff were all so friendly and it was a pleasure to see them every day. If we were hungry at lunchtime we had something from the pool bar or the buffet restaurant. Both were fabulous.

The hotel sits right on a shingle beach but, unless you are up at 6am, forget about getting a sunbed. They are reserved early (although they are often left empty until after lunch. It would be good if staff removed the towels from empty beds after a few hours.

The best part of this holiday was definitely dinner! A different menu every night and we felt like we were eating out in a top class restaurant. Nicholas the chef came out to chat one night and it is obvious he puts a lot of thought into his menus. Sitting in the stylish Alizonia restaurant looking out to sea and watching the sun go down was the best part of the day.
Staff had face masks on at all times and full measures were in place to make everyone feel safe.

Any criticisms I have are minor. We had an amazing spa bath in our room but we really missed a shower. Yes, there is a shower head attachment but a bracket on the wall for this would be a really easy fix. I really didn't enjoy leaning over the bath to wash my hair.

My biggest issue was the wine. I am no great expert but oh my goodness, the white house wine is just awful. It is like cheap, sweet plonk from the 1980s. I wasn't too happy at having to pay £45 for a bottle of wine to get a glass of a nice crisp, dry white to compliment the amazing food.

With the amazing chefs and staff there, I am sure someone can choose a decent alternative. Having paid for 5* all inclusive, I would have liked a nice glass of dry white wine with dinner to be part of the package.

These little issues in no way spoiled our holiday and we are already looking at re-booking for next year. Anywhere else would just be a disappointment in comparison.

We stayed for a week, all-inclusive, at the end of September. The hotel is in a great location, just about a 15 minute drive from the airport in one direction and Rhodes Town in the other, in a beautiful bay. The room we had was very spacious and we even had a pool with floating bean bags on the balcony (next time, we'll give that a miss as we only used it once because we preferred to be by the pool or on the beach). The bed was huge and comfortable (though two pillows each would have been ideal).

The employees there are all very professional, friendly and practised great Covid hygiene at all times without it getting in the way. Nothing was too much trouble. The place is spotlessly clean. The food and beverage choices were vast and plentiful (the F&B Manager we talked to was really friendly and professional and clearly very customer-focused).

There is an issue with some guests reserving sunbeds stupidly early but if you just alert the pool bar staff if a bed remains unused, they'll just remove the towels so you can have it. In any event, we never had an issue and managed to find great spots either near the pools or on the beach.

The huge comfy sofas around the pool were fantastic for lounging on, especially with a drink after sunset. The pools aren't heated but, while they were a bit chilly at first, the feeling soon passes when you're in and are great for swimmers. The beach is literally yards away and the water was blue, calm, clear and lovely.

Things we'd have changed? Definitely some evening entertainment. The "catwalk" dividing the pools is an ideal stage for a band or live entertainment of some sort. The evenings felt a little flat without anything and I'm sure many people head out to find something livelier (maybe that saves them on the all inclusive alcohol!). Switch up the music for the aqua gym performed daily by the pool - it gets a bit repetitive if you're anywhere nearby. Ditto the music in the bar which can only, kindly, be described as "eclectic" and repetitive. Food labelling was a concern, as someone who suffers from a fish and peanut allergy. While they had a numbered key to allergens, I couldn't rely on it once I'd seen that the peanut butter dessert didn't have peanuts listed as an ingredient!

All in all, we had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic break in the suites
Stayed in the suites mid to late September and by and large had a great experience.
Suggestions
If you can afford it choose the suites as you will have unlimited access to all the restaurants including amazing room service from Alizonia (breakfast and dinner) as well as anything listed as for club members on the drinks menus, including a fair amount of cocktails and spirits with mixers.
We didn't use the main pools as the private pool space with the suite was enough.
The suites are a good size with indoor sleeping and living areas as well as a reasonable outdoor space.
We initially had a jacuzzi bath provided but found it difficult to climb over to use either the bath or shower nozzle so requested a walk in shower which we were moved to the next day.
All staff were really helpful and attentive.
Each bar area or restaurant collect their own tips so please be aware of this..eg..lobby bar dont share tips with beach bar staff etc..
Overall a lovely stay in a good hotel with helpful and friendly staff.

Rhodes is beautiful too

Our stay was not the best but definitely was not the worst. We arrived early hours and were checked in really quickly, however when we got to the room we were extremely unhappy. The room was dated compared to the rooms we saw on their website, the bed creaky, air con was rattling and the bathroom had a few critters in. Yes, probably our fault for booking a standard garden view room, however we felt the room was definitely not worthy of the 5 stars the hotel promotes itself to be, regardless whether a deluxe room or not. We went to reception in the morning and the issue was quickly resolved, providing us with a new room (literally next door to our old one) that was recently renovated to a much more modern interior. We were happy with this level of service and commend the staff for sorting so quickly.

Evening entertainment was a problem, or shall I say lack of.. they had no entertainment programme for evenings. We had the same music play over and over, day and night, that is all. No live shows, performances etc, you were just ‘left to it’ in the evenings, which we thought was really poor. We heard this was due to covid, however you can walk out of the hotel and 2 minutes left would take you to a bar with live music until early hours. If you wanted entertainment at night, you’d have to travel outside of the hotel, as this hotel had zero to offer.

The hotel itself was lovely, the pool area and beach too - the pool however was really cold, like FREEZING.. much much colder than the sea. We didn’t actually use the pool once which is a real shame as it’s so beautiful! The cleaners do an amazing job, the hotel, beach etc were spotless of litter and empty cups regularly collected.

The food was ok, most food in the evening was tasty however there was not much of a variety, even though they do offer themed nights on a 2 week rota, we still felt the food was very repetitive. Would have preferred more seafood options both lunch and dinner times but quickly noticed that the paid restaurant on site offers seafood, which could be why they offer less seafood in the buffet restaurant. Breakfast was really good as you would expect with a buffet style breakfast. All restaurant staff were super friendly.

The bars were also both great, a good selection of drinks on their menu both outdoor and indoor which you’d expect with all inclusive. The bar staff clear any queues that form within minutes, are always friendly and are happy to make any drink you like even if not on the drinks menu.

This review would have been 5/5 if we didn’t have the issues mentioned above, however most can be bypassed due to the amazing price we managed to get on the holiday. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable as you really do an amazing job here.

We came here as a couple with our 4 children aged 16-20 and had 3 double garden view rooms. After reading reviews I was apprehensive about the quality of the rooms but we were not in a position to upgrade. We booked direct with the hotel which was cheaper and got a free transfer in a private 6 person minibus that the hotel ran which was very comfortable and cold water was offered to us as we were met. We had a smooth check in, and although our rooms were not ready we left the cases, had a great lunch on the terrace before going back to get our 3 room keys at 3pm. We were at the rear of the hotel in the block by the smaller pool, on the 5th floor and had 3 adjoining rooms with mountain views that were modern, spacious with lovely bathrooms with a spa bath and shower over, so very pleased and surprised at the good standard. We had a mini fridge with a large bottle of water replaced daily and the toiletries were very nice .The main pool area is beautiful with plentiful sunbeds and leads right onto the beach which is stone and sand. The water is clear and beautiful in the sea although chilly in April. The pools were really nice and the adjacent pool bar was busy but kept moving by the staff and sunbed waiters. We ate in both the buffet and Peruvian restaurants (the latter was included once in the all inclusive). Buffet was a high quality and so much to choose from. The Peruvian restaurant was excellent with so much food. Drinks wise the 8 or so cocktails were fine and spirits were local ones so just about OK. The wine was good, whited, rose and red and I enjoyed the sparkling wine a bit too much! Staff were all lovely and very hard working. We got taxi's down to Rhodes Town and enjoyed exploring the old and new towns and it was a fixed 11 euros in a taxi.
A few minor grumbles were:
With 6 people sometimes had to wait for tables and then seemed to be last on the list to get served drinks etc!
Bars needed more staff to keep up with table service and bar service - they were all working fast, but it was tough to keep up.
With 2 a la carte restaurants for hotel guests (not in the suites) to have 1 visit to each as part of a 5 star hotel package would be welcomed.
More evening entertainment with adequate seating - in a week when the hotel was full there was only entertainment twice.
Overall though a great stay for families with older children, couples of all ages and even singles.

I stayed in The Ixian Grand hotel end October. I loved the location of the hotel - it is right on the beach, no need to cross any roads to get to the sea. The City of Rhodes is approximately a 10min drive away, so it is easy to get there and explore it.
The staff is extremely kind and helpful, they also speak very good english, so communication was never a problem.
I stayed in ocean view room, it was nice. It is visible that the rooms were refurbished a while ago, and some aspects don't show the best quality, but everything was functional and most importantly - spotless clean. Even the area around the pools gets cleaned mornings, evenings and midday, the staff takes away empty glassses from the pool bar drinks, they tidy up the strechers in the afternoon.
The food it a bit hit&miss, some things are wonderful, some not so much. I loved the choice of various salads. Even though I am rather picky and tried to stay away from "junk food" I could always find something healthy and tasty. There is always pizza, pasta, french fries, if you are a very picky eater.
The pools are not heated, so they were quite cold at the end of October, however the sea was still nice and perfect for swimming. The beach is sandy and then pebbles lead into the sea (which is nice, so you don't get sand everywhere..), if you don't like walking on the pebbles, bring some kind of water footware for getting in the sea.
The hotel provides beach towels (and restocks them throughout the day with freshly washed and dried ones), which is just great. No need to pack your beach towel :)
The spa looks beatiful and the ladies there are very kind, albeit a bit pushy with selling the treatments. The massage was very nice, the SPA cosmetics is not worth the price IMO.
I enjoyed various activities - there is streching in the morning, then pilates, aqua gym at noon and meditation in the evening. In the afternoon the fintess trainer is available in the gym for personal recommendations on workouts and equipment use. The gym itself was a bit poorly equipped (3 treadmills, 3 stationery bikes, 2 strength training machines but one of them was out of order, a bench and a couple of dumbbells). Due to Covid situation there is a max of 2 people in the room, so there is more then enough equpment for them, but I don't know how this looks like without covid restrictions.
A BIG shoutout to Anca, the fitness trainer. She is downright amazing, I loved exercising with her, I appreciate all the instructions and tips she gave me, I basically had a personal trainer throughout my stay :)
Overall, extremely positive experience, I do hope to return to The Ixian Grand some day!

We visited for a week as a family of 6 with ages ranging from 16-50, and were given 3 rooms together. Our rooms were newer and the lift didn’t go to that floor which wasn’t a problem for us. We arrived very late and found sandwiches, fruit and water laid out in our rooms for us. We had some allergies among us and the sandwiches were all labelled acknowledging these allergies. The beds were large and comfortable and the bathrooms had large corner baths. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and bottled water was left everyday. The hotel is very well tended to and clean and tidy. We loved the pool area being surrounded by grass areas and the beach was directly in front. We could easily spend the whole day in one spot going from the sea to the pool and nipping in to the buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch. There were snacks available if you didn’t fancy the buffet lunch. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge selection everyday and the hosts soon recognised us and gave us the same table most mealtimes and remembered our usual drink requests. We didn’t always visit the buffet for lunch as breakfast was so satisfying but the dishes were different every day and also differed to dinner which was always themed. The desserts were a little disappointing and most contained nuts when we had a severe nut allergy in our group. We always found a table in the evening to have drinks and play cards or games and there was live music each night for entertainment. We discovered a 15-20 minute walk away along the coast was a lively little town where we spent a few evenings having a selection of cocktails that weren’t offered at the hotel and also having amazing cakes at the “cake box” pattisery. We took beach shoes as the beach is stoney and beyond the private beach you can hire jet skis etc…
We had a truly relaxing visit and enjoyed being able to use the app on our phones to have drinks delivered to our sunbeds during the day. We took a taxi to the old town to explore the sites and visited the grand masters palace (under 25’s get half price admission!) and also spent another morning at the amazing butterfly valley (lots of very steep and rocky paths so no flip-flops!)
Our flight home was at night but we were able to keep one of our rooms until 6pm so we could enjoy the pool that last day and be able to shower and change before we left. Thank you for a great holiday Ixian Grand.

The hotel is good, clean and modern. The rooms are a good size and are cleaned daily with fresh towels and beach towels also available daily.

A majority of the staff are lovely and very welcoming. Martina in the main restaurant was so welcoming and also a lady who dispenses the beach towels who I have forgotten her name.

The only negatives of the place are

The spa staff are relentless they position themselves just outside the main restaurant in reception and asking 5/6 times a day about treatments and they walk on the prowl from morning to evening receptively asking they even walk asking when you are sunbathing outside. I would mind a treatment and me and Mrs looked into a Kings and Queen’s however it was reduced from €890 down to €560 which is just a STUPID price I don’t mind paying but don’t screw me over! The prices were double/triple UK prices.

They do have a singer on in the evening most nights but I did thing for a 5star that there would be more entertainment apart from aqua aerobic in the day.

Sunbeds cannot leave it past 8:30 in the morning due to everybody going out with the towels and reserving them.

I would stop again and upgrade my room to a suite overall a lovely hotel with very kind staff.
