We have lived in the main building. Room was very clean but it was obvious the it need renovation. Food - amazing! Drinks - not so much. Spacious beach with sunbeds. Staff is so helpful and profesional! Overall perfect choise for vacation :)
Hotel was very nice and the grounds was kept neat and tidy. Food was good and had a lot of choice, it was also cooked fresh on the grill on show for you to see. The things that let the hotel down was the inside bar only ever had 1 bartender on which sometimes made you wait for a drink longer than it should do. Being beginning of the season there was only 1 night of entertainment which wasn’t very watchable due to not enough seating.
Me and my partner have recently stayed here, and we were very impressed, Hotel and room were very clean and minimalistic, as per the photos. Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming which is a bonus. We had the deluxe room with a spa bath and sea view (not a suite). The food was initially good, good timings and large slots so you could still have a lie in, however after a couple of days the food did not really change much and felt like ground hog day. We unfortunately did not manage to try out the a la carte restaurants as you must stay a minimum of 7 nights to have access to a night in said restaurants. Lastly, there could be an improvement on the entertainment as during our week stay we only saw 2 nights that had entertainment which I believe isn’t enough. Would also be nice to have a pool table or ping pong along side this. To conclude, we really enjoyed our stay and we definitely do recommend this hotel; it’s clean, comfortable, close to the airport and Rhodes town, has friendly staff and lovely views. But I think booking the suite would make a big difference due to having the choice of daily a la carte restaurants over the buffet.…
Restaurant alezoni What a place .maria and panos front of house ... Made the holiday ..plus the food unreal Ixian the cleanliness of the place And the whole complex unreal Not to far to rhodes center I will be back ..to ixian in near future Swimming pool with room is a must
I used to be a travel agent and there is no lies in this review. We had a bit of a hiccup with the booking agent travel republic which was swiftly dealt with by the reservations team (thank you Tina and Maria) FYI if you book with travel republic confirm the room you have booked for the price! Ours was wrong on their website and took nearly two days of our holiday!!! Once we was moved room (swim up garden view) we loved it the accommodation is luxury the hotel is luxury the little touches like the comfy sun beds and seating areas around the pool. The views were stunning and very picturesque. Now what agents don’t tell you is if you book a premium room you get access to the hotels a la carte restaurant (Alonzonia) where you will be treated to a 3 course meal every night with amazing views and amazing staff!!!! Thank you to all the staff there that made our holiday even more amazing! You also get access to the other restaurants on site as many times as you want to use them as long as you book as opposed to once if you book a standard room. The main buffet restaurant is as you would expect. Don’t get me wrong you have to wait if you want a drink. Order them when you get to the table and get your food. They will be there by time you come back. I think this is a covid problem and something they implemented as there are no juice machines or coffee machines etc which I found surprising. Other than that there is enough variety food for you to choose from. The snack bar was probably the one thing I had a gripe with. They didn’t have things like chips etc but if you can get a chip butty 🤷🏻♀️ So we did that most days. Other than that the bar staff at the pool bar are friendly and will always remember your name. George was our favourite 😍 but if there is a queue you can always get the waitress to deliver one to your sunbed 👍🏼 The only other gripe I had was the lady in the shop which I’m sure is nothing to do with the hotel itself but she was just so rude and would rather turn away your custom because she doesn’t have change!!! I had a massage while I was there as well Roxanne and her staff are so lovely. The spa heated pool is a nice little area to relax in. Any one can book in to use the pool for an hours slot. Which made a nice change sometimes. The Greek restaurant was a must some of the best chips I have tasted in my life and the Japanese fusion was 🤌🏼 Some of the nicest sushi and the beef rib was just amazing!!!!!!! Overall this is a 5* stay in a 5* hotel with 5* views and 5* service. Thank you Ixian Grand for one of the best holidays was well worth waiting for ❤️ Will be back soon x A special mention to George on the pool bar, Tina on Reception and Maria and her fabulous team in the Alonzia Restaurant and Katilina our server in the buffet restaurant who remembered our order and greeted us with a smile every morning! And to the man who kept it all running behind the scenes the chef of the Ixian Grand! Thank you all…
One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Excellent value for money, friendly service and immaculate facilities. I had a beach front suite with private pool, and honestly I cannot recommend it enough. Everything was all inclusive with endless variety.. from Greek food to sushi, British, Asian and more. Excellent local wines and beer , nice sheek layout of the hotel and well cleaned. My suite was perfect, housekeeping checked on me twice a day if I needed anything. Lovely view with a nice refreshing pool. Bed was extra comfy and I couldn't find a single flaw with my room facilities. Hotel is in a great location too, a 12euro taxi to Rhodes Old Town, and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Valentinos sports bar a few hundred meters down the road was my personal favourite. Really cannot recommend this hotel enough , flawless.. polites , friendly and most importantly... relaxed stay. I look forward to visiting again.…
We are currently here on our honeymoon. From the moment we entered the lobby we were so impressed by the beautiful design and style of the hotel. The ladies on reception were wonderful. Our suite is immaculate. It is cleaned every day and looked after by the house keeping staff superbly. The restaurant staff and brill. The sheer choice of foods at breakfast, lunch and dinner is mind blowing! Katerina usually looks after us at breakfast and is so professional and friendly. This hotel, and it’s beautifully kept grounds are a real credit to the staff. I highly recommend this hotel for a holiday of any kind. And it’s child free which is a huge bonus for us! 👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed for one week. Beautiful hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We thought the Buffett food was lovely, great choices every day and we thought very good quality. Booked the Japanese a la carte one evening. It was amazing. Only negative there was they should maybe highlight what Is included all inclusive as we asked but ended up with a 30 euro bill. Have to say we explained we had asked about all inclusive menu and were told what we could have but somehow had a charge, the hotel did waiver this. Drinks were very good. No watered down cocktails here!! Room we had was lovely and big. Cleaned and little touches every day by cleaning staff. Pool cold, probably very grateful mid summer. Still braved it. Lovely pool. Gardens and surroundings beautiful. Spa staff lovely , a little pushy maybe around the sunbeds which put me off asking prices so I probably missed out. Entertainment not great, we didn't want 'agadoo" but not quite ready for no atmosphere! I think if they just dimmed the lighting in the lounge area it would be fine. Because of time of year not much open around to walk to. Taxi to Rhodes 12 euros each way and not much open. Bar nearby - Double Duece was good fun. Live rock music, friendly waiting staff. In Rhodes new town recommend - Boheme. We did hire a car for a good price from hotel which was a great day to see the island. Overall lovely well priced stay, beautiful hotel with lovely staff and great food. Quiet holiday if that's what you like as in entertainment and are prepared to taco for a night out.…
Not what I expected, most of the staff was not friendly at all. There was an old lady at reception that raised the voice when I asked something and told me to have patience. Moreover, the room with street view is not great as you can see the outside which seems like a war zone. Also, they have so many rules that make you feel unwelcome there: if you have all inclusive you can’t serve a coffee from the bar before 10 am, also you can’t take it from the restaurant if you don’t have your breakfast as well. If you have drinks you’re allowed max 2 per person and if you have shots you need to comeback if you want some more as you can’t take more than 2 at a time. From the restaurant you can’t take anything in the room if you don’t have permission and that’s possible only if you have a good reason. The food and cakes were really nice.…
Overall excellent, hotel was spacious, never felt over crowded, staff were sooooo good, remembered your drink order, always very polite and attentive. Pools were cold but I thought sea was warmer. Freshwater & seawater pools, private beach. Pool Bar. Buffet food was very good although problem with buffets is food is never hot. Entertainment couple of nights a week, one band with girl singer was excellent and had everyone dancing (they didn't advertise the entertainment which they should do). No instructions or directory in room you have to download an app, which takes getting used to. 2 A La Carte restaurants, one Greek didn't eat in, the other Peruvian with sushi etc. I didn't like the food there but that could just be me. Close to airport (20 mins) and Rhodes City (20 mins in car) Plenty shops bars restaurants nearby.…
