Late night arrival at reception, checking in was quick but dining room was closed and sandwiches with bottled water had been left in the room fridge. There was a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee. Breakfast next morning was buffet service with a much and varied selection of both hot and cold selections. Lunches and Evening meals were also buffet service with excellent selections which should have catered for all tastes. The only downside with the dining experience at lunches and evening mealswas trying to find a member of staff to take our drinks order, otherwise everything else was fine. Our room was comfortable with a great view over the Aegean Sea towards Turkey from the balcony. Bedding and towels were changed every morning and the Housekeeping staff were excellent. There are 2 swimming pools and one paddling pool for infants with towels available from reception for a small deposit Plenty of sun-loungers and parasol are evenly spaced all around the pool sides and the pool side snack bar serves hot and cold snacks, tea, coffees, alcohol and soft drinks. Staff were very courteous and hard working. We only went to the main bar in the evenings for a couple of drinks and once again the bar staff here were very courteous and hard working. There is a Supermarket more or less adjoining the hotel which Carrie's a large selection of goods. Staff here are also very friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel where the local bus will take you to Rhodes for €2 or catch a taxi for €8. A main road separates the hotel from the pebbled beach but most local motorists will slow down and allow you to cross. A visit to the Old Town is a must with plenty of historical sights and a good market. The New Town is mainly the usual High Street shops and tourist merchants. I would highly recommend taking the all day Hop on and off bus tour which has commentary throughout the tour of Rhodes, and you'll see a lot more than walking around yourself. We never bothered with any of the boat tours on offer from the harbour/ marina, but we did enjoy watching the Cruise ships an private yachts coming and going. Overall we had an excellent time and we would definitely return to the Belair Beach Hotel when in Rhodes. Great Value and Excellent Service

Me and my partner stayed 10 nights, all inclusive 12th may to 22nd May 2022. The maids and cleanliness at the hotel was outstanding, fresh towels every 2 days, clean Ash tray every day. The food was above average, the only down fall was we wish they had told us a 'theme' a day before so we could plan a meal out (I have a shellfish allergy). The front of house team from Marina and Besa at the pool bar- very polite, to the 8 others in the restaurant helping us find seats! We could both agree that Alejandro and Nino the entertainers made our holiday complete, from aquarobics in the morning, to darts, to water polo, followed by evening entertainment like bingo, quiz nights, music nights, fire shows, they are so including and even helped plan a night out in Falaraki for a friend's birthday! The WiFi is a bit hit and miss but over all the hotel was amazing, would definitely recommend to anybody!

Lovely clean hotel, great location being across the road from the beach. The pool area is gorgeous and the pool bar staff were cheerful and friendly. The entertainment crew (Alex and Nino) were fun and were great at keeping everyone amused with activities throughout the daytime and evening. Aqua aerobics was particularly fun but also a great workout! The food in the restaurant was to a good standard with lots of choice and an allergen menu is posted outside the entrance allowing at a glance what’s available. As I’m coeliac it was a great help and the chef and his staff were always happy to help me if I was unsure about anything. A wonderful experience with everyone from reception staff through to cleaners being friendly and cheerful. It’s definitely a hotel I would return to in the future.

We had an amazing time on our holiday, food was really tasty and fresh at the all inclusive buffet. Maids cleaned the rooms every day, beds were comfy and cleanliness was great. Lovely view from the pool and location was great! Loved to sit round the pool but the best part was really the entertainment from Alejandro and Nino. They really made our holiday, great evening shows and nights out in Falaraki and Rhodes. Darts, Mr belair and the Quiz nights were our favourites. They also did a great fire and magic show! They were super friendly, hilarious and welcoming. Hotel wouldn’t be the same without them. They planned a fun night out for my birthday and celebrated with us all weekend! Legends!! Only negative point was the lifeguard was being aggressive and rude on one day, being a bit of an idiot. (Being polite)

We stayed in the old part of the hotel, which looked dated. Not sure if the walls are paper thin or the guests are just very loud as you could hear shouting and screaming, chatting from about 7am-2am the next night. This was a little annoying but we are heavy sleepers, just got woken up by slamming doors etc then shouting. When we arrived, we were not happy with the room and view, so asked to change at reception. Was told to come back on three separate times over 2 days after being told there was a high chance we could upgrade if we came back at 10am, 6pm and 10am the next day. After 3 times of being told 'come back tomorrow', we gave up. We were never put on the upgrade list as we could see the room numbers on the list, and kept being told 'its first come first served' despite the fact we were down there first! This was annoying, and we feel that this was because of our ages. We are teenagers, but are respectful and just wanted a nice holiday in a nice room. I feel if we were older, we would have been given more of a chance of an upgrade, which is unfair. I do not feel they were very accommodating on reception and I think they were glad when we stopped asking. We had another poor experience with the reception team when it came to getting a late check out room. We went down 2 days before we left to ask for one, got put on a non-existent list, came back at 10am the next day, then 6pm and got told no they are all gone. Again, I feel they gave priority to older guests. The fact they couldn't accomodate us is not the problem, it was the attitude from the staff and the non-existent waiting lists. If there were no available rooms, I would've rather been told no then sent on a wild goose chase everyday. The pool area was nice and clean, pool water was absolutely freezing but its the start of the season so I'm sure it will warm up. Lots of sun-beds and I really liked the sun-beds- they were great quality and you could put towel clips on them as they weren't chunky. The ladies at the pool bar were outstanding, always smiling and happy. However, the same can't be said for the men in the bar inside. They made creepy remarks to me and my friend a few times and it put us off getting drinks. Also 1 drink per person rule is very much enforced with no exceptions. Food was nice, I had no problems, lots of selection. The highlight of the trip was the island! We visited the water park in Faliraki and it was amazing. Very quiet as its the start of the season but it was a lovely day. Anthony Bay beach is also absolutely stunning too. There was a lovely bar very close to the hotel on the strip called 'Rodos Bar', it was absolutely amazing and we spent most evenings here. The drinks are very reasonable and the measures of alcohol are high (if you like that ;) ) They had a karaoke night too which was great fun. The staff there are amazing, so would 100% recommend going to this bar. Overall, I would come back to Rhodes and Ixia for sure, just not the hotel. It is a shame as this review could have been very different if the reception staff tried their best for us, it did put a downer on the holiday if I am honest.

Just returned from the Belair Beach, the staff are very friendly and speak good English. The food was good, the hotel is spotlessly clean. We stayed in one of the executive rooms, room 557 on the right side of the hotel, not sure if this block is a new addition but it felt like a new build, white marble everywhere, walk in shower, enormous comfy beds, unbelievable views of the sea. The other side (left side) however is very dated and has a 70s feel, all dark wood and carpets. We know this because we paid for a late check out and moved to room 147 for our last day. As pleased as we were for late checkout for just €35, room 147 was one step up from a broom cupboard so beware. If we had been allocated that room for our holiday ….well ……this review would be very different. As for the food, breakfast was a good selection, bacon, eggs of all types, beans, pancakes, continental, fruit, you name it, oh and the jewel in the crown, Lurpak butter and HP sauce ! The Only downfalls with breakfast were the under cooked bacon and having chorizo type sausage instead of breakfast sausage. Evening meals were a great selection, different variety of food each night, the cakes were especially good. The Maitre d was prickly and unfriendly, but the rest of the restaurant staff were so friendly and happy in their work it was a pleasure to see. Chris on reception was extremely helpful and always had a smile and a kind word, so thank you to him. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

I was a little worried to stay here after reading negative reviews on here. I shouldn’t have worried!!! We were over the moon with this hotel. Stayed for 7 nights all inclusive. 45 minute transfer on the coach, lovely staff on reception. We stayed in an executive room with sea view, absolutely perfect, spacious, clean, lovely balcony etc. cleaned daily including fresh towels. Food and drink is plentiful, lots of choice, many reviews stating that the food isn’t warm enough, but we didn’t find this a problem. When you eat buffet style food you can’t expect it to be piping hot. Lots to choose from. Not had one bad meal. Staff in the restaurant are amazing, very tentative clearing plates and bringing drinks etc. Pool area has plenty of sun beds, parasols and tables, pool bar is ideal for drinks and snacks. There are actually 3 pools, not 2 like advertised in the brochure. One main pool, one shallow children’s pool and one quieter pool. All are cold, salt water pools, but once you get used to the temperature they are fine. Worth it for the infinity pool end over looking the beach!!! Evening entertainment I can’t really comment on as we didn’t stay for if, we prefer a drink on the balcony and a game of cards and admiring the view/putting the world to rites!! The location of the hotel is near a busy road, this didn’t cause us any problems and couldn’t hear traffic at night etc Supermarkets nearby as is a Greek taverna and sports/cocktail bar. The wind can get strong at times, so we bought the giant pegs to keep our towel on the sun bed. Beach towels can be hired from reception but I didn’t check how much it was as we brought our own with us. Had an absolutely brilliant week here and would not hesitate to go back.
