Another amazing break at Ialysos Bay. Great hotel, fantastic management and staff. A smaller all inclusive so you get to meet people easy. Pebble beach , if you want sand perhaps research hotels on the other side of the island. The entertainment was I guess as good as it could be due to covid restrictions in Greece, the girls worked really hard to make it as enjoyable as possible with the resources they had. A short (10 minute) walk will get you to bars and shops, we like to get out. Buses, taxis within walking distance and a mini bus takes you to town from the hotel at a price of €7. No complaints from me after all been 3 times this year. Keep up the good work Angela, Steve, Julia, Nick, klodian, reception, cleaners, back of house, chefs. Thank you for your hospitality 🙂.

Cleanliness of this hotel through pandemic is good. Dining areas plastic gloves supplied so you don't touch anything with bare skin. Utensils crockery drinks etc. Masks to be worn around the hotel. Rooms kept clean with daily towel changes & bed change every couple of days. Dietary needs will be catered for as long as they know. Food was okay, you won't starve put it that way. For us hotel was far away from anything in the area. We found the evening's boring although a bar in hotel no happy atmosphere or TV with something to watch. We went out to the sports bar down the road. Better tasting drinks food & sports channels with football games on which pleased hubby. Bus into Ixia only 2 euro's each. Spent a day on the beach down there. The beach opposite the hotel not nice as you can see from photo. Also be prepared for lots of Ferrell cats around everywhere including hotel & town. Friendly helpful staff. Activities need a huge amount of improvement. Overall we were looked after well & enjoyed the warm weather & a chilled out week away.

Just returned from the hotel, tbh there's a lot to like about the hotel but given Covid restrictions, there's a lot to dislike also. Let's start with Accommodation, Rooms are a comfortable size and extremely clean and are cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc. But are not 4* quality with bathrooms needing a little TLC to bring them up to that sort of standard. The hotel itself is spacious but I am unable to state what the hotel would be like during the height of the season as I was there at the end of the season and the hotel was very...very quiet. Saying that the facilities were a little dated, the bar area(indoor) needs a rethink to make better use of the bar area, a really bad design tbh. TheNick (barman) has to endure wearing a mask behind the bar when a sheet of perspex would have protected him and the guests at the service point rather than all having to wear masks to collect drinks, seeing that guests only wore masks when getting drinks and not when seated with others. Would help all guests should covid restriction remain in place. The hotel itself is a bit too far away from the main areas for entertainment and bars, but a taxi(8euros) will get you to the akriolis sports bar(great food and UK beers and Strongbow etc..worth a visit or two. Or you can walk for 10-15 mins to get to these places, Pattis bar(1 min walk) on the beach area is ok, expensive but worth a look..no more than that, 18 euros gets you a taxi to Rhodes town, but there are cheaper options by bus. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and did all they could to help and keep us guests happy, really pleasant and helpful always with a smile and a kind word but for those of you wanting to take active children to stay at the hotel, I would honestly go elsewhere...it tried to be kid-friendly but in truth fell a long way short with most kids things closed due to covid. I can't say if that would be better if restrictions were lifted, but not a lot there for them to do tbh. Maybe a shuttle bus would help to get out and about, even though there is the usual noddy train available, The entertainment was pretty bad tbh, also maybe covid related but the Suneo reps tried all that they could do to keep guests amused but like the quizzes each night...it was very trying as most could not understand a word that was broadcast over the mic., Olivia was great all day by the pool area though and was far more engaged with guests. It would help if the owners invested in live sports channels to watch football etc, I linked my phone to the TV in the bar just so guests could watch prem football on most nights. without that most would have gone out in the evening. And it would have been more boring with only a few guests, but we made our own fun, especially the welsh crowd....Diolch! Overall, the hotel is decent for adults with fewer covid restrictions who want to laze by the pool. but if you want more life go elsewhere closer to other bars/shops etc. I don't think will return to this hotel, which is a shame as it could be a great place to stay but def only 3* and TUI should talk to staff to see what can be done to improve its facilities.

Beautiful hotel but not for us. Beach full of stones and sea rough- not for children Isolated hotel Entertainment very poor. Night's were mostly bingo and quizzes. Olivia and sonia tried so hard Lovely staff in restaurant especially Julia who is a real asset to the hotel Spotless hotel and plenty of hot water. You won't starve here.I It would be so boring if it wasn't for the company we met. Nick was great too in bar

Such a wonderful Hotel , the location , the staff , the sheer relaxing atmosphere was heavenly , Julia in the dining room was a delightful and a fountain of knowledge , Nick the Aussie barman was cracking , ignore other reviews about bar staff , people like them as slaves and don’t like been told rules , the owners who regularly look after the dining in the evenings where superb , the food very good lots of choice , and all day long , the Animation girls done a great job , during limited covid restrictions, the rooms are squeaky clean as is the hotel , I will be back for sure and with my family next time
