Despite a bit of a problematic start we had a fantastic holiday in this lovely hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 2.30am and did not expect to have to wait over an hour to be checked into our room. However there had been a number of delayed flights and that contributed to the problem. Despite this the man on the desk was friendly and cheery. However we had been allocated the wrong room. We had paid for a superior sea view room and were put in a family suite with no view. We were given our correct room the following morning although having to get up early to sort this out was a bit of a pain and we did not get a full mini bar, fruit or water in our new room. Despite the fact we hadn’t used them in the first room. So if this does happen to you watch out for that. The superior room with sea view was lovely and had everything we could want. The rest of our holiday was perfect. The food is plentiful and with good choice at the buffet. We were a little disappointed with the a la carte Asian and Italian restaurants. They were ok but not anything special. We really enjoyed the Greek restaurant which you can go to anytime. The pool area is good with lots of beds. We preferred the beach area where we never had a problem getting a bed and where you are served drinks or have the option of going to the beach bar. There is also a very pleasant breeze. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning to Rhodes and this hotel in the future.

Lovely Hotel, lovely room and the food was great.BUT 1. Waiter service in the bars. Sounds great but only if you dont mind a very long wait. Was often told at an empty bar to take a seat and wait for a waiter. 2. Poolside ice cream bar. My wife was told to get out because she was wet !(IT's BESIDE THE POOL) 3 All inclusive but you cant take water to your room. Really 4 Dont open the sliding doors in the bar apparently this spoils the air con., Although the doors the other end were open all the time. 5 Dont forget to pre book early breakfast .We had to go on our trip hungry because we failed to do this. There was only about 15 people booked in so no room for 2 more that weren't advised this by the tui rep.

We arrived at Electra palace early hours in the morning on the 1st of September. On this weekend there were major delays in Rhodes airport which then had an effect on the check in in the hotel, which was not the fault of the hotel. Check inn took longer than expected but staff were pleasant. We had a superior sea view room on the 4th floor, which was immaculate and very modern. The maids worked hard every day and left our room spotless. The hotel it’s self of lovely, with a lovely private beach and a fantastic pool. We loved spending our time at the pool because of the waiter service for drinks and being close to the bar and the sugar cube. The staff in the hotel are lovely and more than helpful to accommodate your needs. The food in this hotel is brilliant. Having 4 restaurants to choose from was a fantastic because I am quite a fussy eater. The breakfast buffet was great, there was defiantly something for everyone. For lunch we loved the Greek restaurant at the back of the pool, food was fresh and the service was very friendly. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was by far the best meal we had in the hotel, again the service was brilliant. & the Asian restaurant didn’t disappoint either. We did not eat in the buffet restaurant much because of the lack of choice for fussy eaters, but there is themed nights where there is plenty of choice such as asian night and Latin night. The Italian and Greek restaurant was always great for gyros, chips, pizzas, salads and pastas. Would defiantly think about returning to this hotel, thank you Electra Palace!

Stayed at this hotel with my husband and 8 year old as well as my parents. We had booked separately and emailed in advance asking for rooms close together, on arrival we had two lovely pool view rooms next door to each other on the 4th floor. The staff here work really hard and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Yes they could do with some more waiting staff as they like to serve you but you can also go and order drinks at the bar if it’s not too busy. We visited the end of August for a week and there weren’t many children around and not lots of large groups so even though the hotel was full it never felt too busy, always sunbeds available at the pool and beach so you didn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn. The rooms were beautiful, not a huge selection at the buffet but we always had great quality food plus there is always fresh fish and meat being cooked fresh at the grill section of the buffet. The Asian was good, the Italian exceeded expectations, the evening menu was amazing. The Greek grill was great for a lunchtime gyros and you can also use the Italian a la carte for lunch with a limited menu of pizza/pasta/salad which is lovely for an al fresco lunch. We have stayed in many other branded 5 star all inclusive which offer a lot for children but we found this was just as good. The kids club was quiet but had varied daily activities for our daughter who visited a few times in the mornings. The evening entertainment was low key but we were happy with this. The street food event at lunchtime was amazing as were the acrobats. Being able to have branded spirits was a plus for us and there were a good variety on offer within the all inclusive package. Special mention to the young girl who served us our drinks by the pool, I have forgotten her name but she wore glasses plus also the lady with the black hair who ran the aqua aerobics. The entertainment team were lovely, not forcing you to get involved but gently letting you know when things were about to start and always giving you a smile and a cheery good morning. We found service in the sugar cube quite slow but there are plenty of other places to grab a coffee if you are in a rush. One other thing we noticed was the hotels efforts to accommodate wheelchair users. Every set of steps had a ramp next to it and they have really made the effort to ensure they can cater for all guests. Both ourselves and my parents would definitely return...great hotel which we feel caters for a relaxed holiday for all ages!

The Electra Palace in Rhodes was our first experience of Greece and we will never forget this holiday....it is perhaps the best holiday we have had in some time. The hotel is truly amazing and the staff work very hard to look after the guests. The variety of food and drinks is superb and along with four restaurants and four bars we also had a free mini bar in our room plus packed lunches for any trips out. We really enjoyed our drinks on the beach and the refreshing breeze. The pool and the Street food festival were great. The entertainment in the evenings was nice and did not finish too late. The hotel is close to the airport so transfers were very quick and easy.
