We were very apprehensive about staying here. It was part of a Titan Travel tour. We thought it would be too crowded in the restaurant, no loungers free around the pools, etc. In the event the buffet restaurant worked very well and the food was very good, and there were plenty of loungers. We were not kept awake by the entertainment. We will not be rushing back to Rhodes, but this hotel was surprisingly good.

Just returned from a week's stay and it was fantastic! The food was one of the best I seen at an all inclusive, as a picky eater I never went hungry. The different bars and restaurants are a great touch as you can make your way round the resort and feel as though you've been out without actually leaving. We booked the Italian and the Asian. The Asian was the best out of the 2, we really enjoyed this. The only fault I had with the drinks is as at the poolside bar (where the entertainment is on a night) is paper cups only, absolutely understand why... You don't need want people in bare feet stepping on broken glass but on a night it does spoil it slightly if you like to drink out of a glass. The fridge is refilled daily and food and drink is literally 24hrs a day.. be prepared to put on a few pounds! The day time entertainment was the same everyday, if you don't want to be involved there is an adult only pool area. We chose to sit at the top of the stairs near the main pool, close enough to watch everything but not close enough to get roped into joining in... The entertainment team don't take no for an answer! Evening entertainment was okay, but our first few nights it was really windy so didn't feel like sitting out. Which means no entertainment unfortunately (Some indoor entertainment would make this hotel 10/10) We arranged through Tui the trip to Symi island, 100% worth the visit. The views are stunning. We ventured into Rhodes for the day and that was lovely, although don't rely on catching the bus from outside the hotel we waited for 3 buses which where full so in the end decided to walk. It is abit of a walk but on a nice breezy day it's lovely, took us around 45 minutes to get to Rhodes itself then another 15 minutes to the marina. We managed to catch the bus back was around 4€ for the both of us. Recommended the hotel to our friends and family which we don't normally do as everyone has different tastes, but I do feel like they have catered for everyone here. Hopefully we will be back very soon!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean at all times. The staff were friendly. The rooms were modern and the bed was comfy. The entertainment team were the best I have ever seen in a hotel, maybe a bit full on if it’s not your thing but for us they made us laugh non stop and made our stay one to remember… thank you guys. There is not a huge amount to do in the exact location but we got a taxi into the old town a few times which was €10 euros each way and also done a day trip to Symi. The food was good compared to a lot of all inclusives I have been the only downside was the restaurants that you had to book - slim chance of getting booked in. Apart from that I cannot fault this hotel and if it wasn’t for wanting to explore more islands we would be back next year. I would certainly reccomend a stay for anyone looking for a fun, little bit lively holiday. If you are looking for a quiet more subtle holiday then this isn’t the hotel for you, it’s massive and there are a lot of people which is not everyone cup of tea. Thank you Akti imperial for a great stay.

If you want value for money, fantastic service, great food, not to mention being spotlessly clean, visit the akti imperial. If you're expecting the Savoy I suggest you go to London. A great holiday and terrific hotel.

We chose Akti imperial for our honeymoon in June for a week, for the price we paid (£2300) we was definitely left disappointed with what was on offer. The photos etc really get you thinking it’s a luxurious place to stay. I wouldn’t say it was luxurious, for a 5star hotel I did expect more to be honest. Bad Bits - Rooms are small and not spacious whatsoever so expect your suitcases to be in your way most of the time. Food, food is a massive let down, the do the usual special nights and they’re nothing to rave about, selection I’d say is small for such a huge hotel and being 5 star. Staying in previous 5 star hotels in Turkey you’re spoilt for choice and can barely get around to trying everything. Again typical place where you find something you like, then they never do it again. (Like the Gyros!) was offered once for a week, we’re in Greece?? You’d expect them more often in my eyes, but there we go. Sunbeds - one word, carnage. People reserving beds at 5/6am and then not turning up until midday happened a lot. You would rarely get sunbeds with a parasol as they’re cemented to the ground, so unless you got up at the crack of dawn, you’re sitting in the full sun all day. So not great! When we did get one, it was near the kids pool. Drinks, you’re not allowed to get more than 2 at a time, so if they’re a big group of you you’re gunna have to have a few trips! Check out - you have to put your name down for a late check out request. Then you find out evening before you leave whether you can get a late check out, we couldn’t due to the capacity of the hotel, which was really crap when you have a 11pm flight! But what can you do. Good points - Beach is obviously just over the road, which they’ve built a little walk way under the the road to access super easily, which is great. Car hire place inside the hotel are really good, we hired a car for the day for 55 euros and went around the island. It was our best day in Rhodes by far! Highly recommend tsambika beach, it was utterly stunning! Only about half an hour away by car. Check out - even though we couldn’t get late check out. They give you a shower half an hour at a selected time for you to use a room to shower and get ready, which was super super handy as we could use the pool still on the day so we weren’t sitting around the hotel for 8 hours before pick up! Location is fairly good, there isn’t much down the road from the hotel, however it was a 8 euro taxi ride to Rhodes town. Mini fridge was restocked daily with lemon/orange fizzy, water, beer/wine. late night restaurant, so if you’re peckish and arrive late, you can go and have some chips when you get in. (I believe it’s left overs from the day, well that’s what it tastes like!) 11pm is pancake hour! Every night they do fresh pancakes which was good. The View, if you’re lucky enough to get a sea view, it’s the best thing to wake up to, it’s stunning! ( i think you have to pay - which we did - otherwise you’re overlooking another hotel/road or car park!) Drinks - good selection, cocktails aren’t to my taste but probably to others. Alcohol selection was good too. To sum up, it was a lovely holiday as it’s what you make it at the end of the day. But I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a special occasion, for a basic getaway/family holiday, it ticks the boxes if you’re not fussed about the issues. I personally wouldn’t stay here again.

Spent a week here from 16 to 23 September. The positives far outweigh the negatives. The hotel is in a good location with access by taxi to Rhodes Town for €10. The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily, with a good walk-in shower and plenty of hot water. Food is varied and excellent with lots of options and spirits are branded if requested, plus there are several a la carte restaurants available to book. Among the best hotel buffets I have experienced, even better than some of the a la carte ones. Pizzas at the snack bar are to die for! Mini bars are regularly replenished FOC. There is food available literally 24 hours a day if required. However, paper cups, especially for gin or wine, are not acceptable! A room was available for changing and showering before our evening flight home on the last day. On a less positive note, the layout and organisation of the lifts are poor, resulting in long waiting times on occasions. Room towels could be larger but are changed every day if required. Pool towels were not always available, even within the stipulated changing times. As the hotel was full to the brim, it could be difficult at times to get a bed by the pools, especially with a parasol, and the older style beds were extremely uncomfortable. Because of the design of the pools and the numbers of people, swimming was difficult and the indoor pool was shut, strangely the only Covid restriction seemingly in force.

Have just returned from 9 nights at the Akti Imperial. Having read previous reviews, we did have concerns. However, those concerns soon disappeared. The hotel is very big with lots of people. Whilst we where there, there was no issues whatsoever with sun beds, plenty of availability, in the sun and also in the shade, we would go to the pool area about 9.30am and we never had an issue finding sun beds, either in the sun or the shade. The food is plentiful, with lots of choice and of a very high standard. The drinks are fine, not high end, but for an all inclusive they are OK. I’ve been to some all inclusive hotels and the drinks are awful. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. If I had a gripe and it’s pretty petty. The chairs in the main lobby bar are the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat on. The night time entertainment is OK, some much better than others, but you get that everywhere. What I would say if you don’t like large busy hotels then this may not be for you, but it is a lovely hotel. So don’t believe all the negative posts on this hotel. It really is a good hotel, you just can’t please some people

Came here for a week on the 17th. Had a fantastic holiday. Hotels in a really good location with lots of bars and restaurants close by. I had a broken foot but could still get by without having to get taxis. Amalfi coast a few minutes walk down the road is great for sunset. Also for food & drinks. Hotel entertainment is very good and there is lots going off all the time. Drinks are very nice. One problem. 2022 and they are still using paper cups? Why not the reusable plastic like every other all inclusive hotel. Food in the hotel is very nice. I would say it’s very hard to get into all of the a la carte restaurants. We managed to do 3 out of 5. In the day they did a banging pork/chicken gyros around the pool. Also pizza was tasty with different options. Staff were very friendly. Especially this 1 guy in the lobby bar. Peter with the big smile. He should be made manager as he goes beyond expectations to make you feel welcome and kept us topped up with drinks all holiday. Finally. If you come to Rhodes you have to go to the Rhodes old town. Walk through the medieval grounds and go to the mama Sofia’s restaurant. You won’t be disappointed :)

We stayed at this hotel for a week. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful from the cleaners, bar staff, reception, the dinner staff got everyone seated as quickly as possible they worked so hard the foo clearing plates ,cleaning and relaying tables.all staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is nice plenty of choice deserts ice cream all readily available along with fresh bread, fresh fruit the snack bars also had plenty of food. . The complex itself is lovely. The rooms are nice, the pools are nice.we sat around the adults only pool there are plenty of sunbeds everywhere some in shaded areas. There is also a lovely quiet inside area to sit with a bar. The entertainment from the trio that's there on Tuesday & Thursday was brilliant. The other entertainment was also good. There is an unergound tunnel that takes you straight to the beach opposite avoiding haveeing tocross roads.. I would definetly say book this place.Rhodes old town is about €10 euro by taxi or just catch the bus. All in all a very pleasant holiday.

We went on holiday in July during the summer holidays. It had been a couple of years since we’d had a holiday, like everyone else, so we were really looking forward to it. We arrived late at night. The reception area was tired, but the staff were great checking us in. They said they had upgraded us. When we got to the room it was really small. We are only a family of 3 but our teenage son is already the size of an adult. There was little room to move. Little space for suitcases and very little wardrobe and drawer space for clothes. The bath was badly stained and the enamel was peeling off. The bedroom was very tired with scrapes and chips. The public areas were uninspiring inside the hotel. It was so disappointing based on this being 4* on Jet 2 and 5* by their own claim. The room was 3*, and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. The pool area was satisfactory but too small for the size of hotel and number of guests. Although it said not to claim unnecessarily using towels everyone did, from very early in the morning, which spoils your holiday. This policy wasn’t reinforced by the hotel. The buffet food was fine with plenty of choice. The theme restaurants were okay, but the Greek one was especially good. The staff however were superb. Professional and friendly. We had some spa treatment, and the spa was great. The entertainment was generally decent. Getting to Rhodes Town was cheap and easy in a taxi. Did we enjoy the holiday? I would say not really, because we were only there for a week and the disappointment wasn’t easy to get over. Having spoken to other families, our experience wasn’t unusual. Sorry.
