You get a lot for your money here, very close to the beach and the bus to the airport and Rhodes town. Spacious apartments with nice bathroom and kitchenette. On the 2nd and 3rd floor you also get a large balcony, smaller on the ground floor. Lovely pool area with many sun beds and parasols, bar and restaurant at affordable prices. However, missed that the trash can in the kitchen was emptied every day and not just once a week.
My first time in Rhodes and our stay in Villas Duc exceeded our expectations! The staff was warm and very helpful. With the help of the reception lady we rented a scooter from their associates at a fair price and did a tour around the island. Very quiet place and in a relatively close distance from the historic center. The price was low which allowed us to focus on spending time around the island. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and I hope to be given the chance to visit it again in the near future!
This accomodation is a lovely place to stay. It's very close to plenty of restaurant and shops, and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. You can also easily take the bus to Rhodes town. The accommodation is a courtyard with a swimming pool and a bar/restaurant surrounded by the apartments. The pool has enough beds so you don't have to worry about not getting a spot. At the bar you can order a wide variety of drinks that are not too expensive. Breakfast is simple but good. There is also a possibility to have lunch and dinner at the restaurant, which I highly recommend. I would definitely recommend coming here for your vacation to Rhodes!
We found Villa Duc excellent. The whole place is spotless and there is a daily cleaning service and very frequent change of towels. The apartments were spacious and very comfortable. The public areas and pool (very large - I could maintain my training schedule quite easily in the mornings when it was free) are very well laid out and again kept in immaculate condition. It is evident that the owners are very much involved and maintain very high standards. We did not eat at the restaurant as we were nearly always out, but the menu is varied and the smell of food coming from the kitchens was quite tempting, so I would suppose that it is of the same high standard - maybe next time we will make it a point to eat there when we stay for a longer period. The location is also very convenient with just a couple of hundred metres to the main road to Rhodes Town and to the airport (both less than 10 minutes away); parking was easy and safe. Villa Duc contributed greatly to our enjoyment of Rhodes and it would be our first choice when we return.…
Great hotel, very relaxed. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Elly :-) The hotel & all its surroundings are very clean. The food is delicious. My favourite dish is the 'Chicken-a-la-Greka' :-) There's are different alcohol & non-alcohol drinks on offer each day/night. There's an elevator for anyone that finds the trip up the steps to the hotel room too much. Breakfast is a buffet each morning, with something for everyone, from healthy to not so healthy (fried bacon, eggs, etc)! The charge for breakfast is 9 on the first morning, then if you wish to choose to eat there every morning after that, there's a special offer price, these prices can be found in the book in your room, or just ask anyone at the reception area. There's a karaoke every Tuesday night. For anyone wanting to watch football, there's a projector screen in the bar area, the staff behind the bar will show whatever games they can. I found the prices in this Supermarkets, shops, restaurants & bars all within a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. If you are a couple without kids, be careful what time of year you go on holiday! We went there last week in September 2018, it was just perfect. There was just 2 families there with quiet kids, so not too noisy! For places to see, the 'Valley of the Butterflies' is a 'must'. It's so beautiful. The hotel can easily organise this excursion for you. It costs €12 per person for the bus there & back and €3 entry fee per person. You need to keep your entry ticket, in order to gain access to the Monastery at the top of the valley. Toilets around entry area cost €0.50 cent, toilets at the back of the monastery are free :-) A good restaurant nearby is 'Platon'. This restaurant has great Greek specialities, not expensive, you even get a free disgestive after your meal :-) I would highly recommend Villas Duc to anyone looking for a nice, quiet & relaxed holiday.…
