When we booked the hotel, the owner responded to us quickly and explained very clearly how to reach to his house, so I think he should be very nice. However, when we were finding the house at about 2300 and stood at the entrance of the house, he did not proactively come to us

Loved this place. I stayed in block next to the main block. Very quiet at night. Clean room. AC available. Cute towel. Good breakfast . Host Mihalis is super fun and nice. He is very patient, would answer all your questions.

Is there free parking near hotel ?
I have no idea. It is in a residential neighborhood with cars parked street side but I don't know if they are residents or if there is a fee

Is there a way to get to the hotel from the ferry port via bus or public transportation?
I fear I don't know the answer to your Q, but the owners of the hotel would probably be able to advise. We came into town by car along the coast road. With luggage the taxi solution sounds sensible.
