We've just spent two lovely nights at this very friendly small hotel, situated in the old town. The owner is lovely, very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. I am vegan with allergies and she bent over backwards to look after my dietary requirements, she even made vegan muffins for breakfast for me. Will definitely stay again when I come back to Rhodes. Thank you. :)
My husband and two kids spent several nights here. The location is absolutely perfect. Literally 1 minute from where all major parts of Old Rhodes is. Yet it is surprisingly quiet. I cannot say enough good things about the charming host. She could not do enough for us. The actual hotel is modest in size. But the rooms are comfortable (OK, a bit small, or as she called them "romantic") However, when was the last time you stayed in a 15th Century hotel? The place is very clean and she offers a nice breakfast of fresh juice, coffee and fresh jams and preserves.
If you visit the island of Rhodes, Greece and wish to stay in the Old City, then your hotel of choice should be Camelot Traditional & Classic Hotel. It is simply outstanding! It is a small boutique hotel in a great location and offers a comfortable and beautiful context in which to relax. But the primary attraction of the hotel is its owner, Nina. You need no other reason to stay there than to treat yourself to the pleasure and joy of meeting and spending time with Nina. Indeed, she may be the best reason to visit Rhodes!! We have stayed there twice and intend to return for a third visit as soon as possible. We love Rhodes, but we love Nina more!
Just a few blocks from the main square, one block off of a busy lane, the Camalot is quite and charming. Owner and manager, Nina could not look after her guests more lovingly. Just five rooms! Wonderful breakfasts, easy to get around and the best restaurant in Rhodes Town very near.(the Alexis 4 Seasons). Very short walk to the harbor and the Street of the Knights. All of the shops etc. A fine hideaway.
We loved our 6 day stay at the Camelot & Traditional hotel. Location is perfect, being in the old town, but close to two access points where you can be dropped off by taxis. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated and the court yard is very pretty. However, it is Nina that makes staying here so special. Nothing is too much trouble and the leisurely home made breakfasts are to be savoured. We were looked after like family and made to feel so welcome. If you enjoy the personal boutique hotel experience, don't hesitate to stay here. Thank you Nina for a wonderful stay. (H&K)
