This is a very nice hotel if you are traveling in Greece and want to stay in Rhodos Town for one or two days. The rooms are basic, but all you need is there, such as a balcony, free air conditioning, and a nice bathroom. The people at the registration desk are very kind and helpful and there is an excellent breakfast buffet that i and my teenager son liked evry much,

The location of the hotel is far away from every nice beaches! The water from the pool is so cold therefore you cannot swim on it! The food was terible: more than that I had the experience of seeing a worm came out from the food! ( I don’t have pictures but my brother have). Also my chids was beaten by flies during the night time! Also wasn’t able to use AC: I left it open and left the room for about 1 hour and when I came back all room was smeling of dump! One of my friend also found in his room a big bug! (Have pictures with it). More than that after his first shower hi realised that water was leaking from the ceiling! Room 201! Don’t go there!!!!!!

- The hotel is well positioned for sightseeing in the Rhodes Town, it can be very easily reached in the old town center, only 15 minutes walk or by bus 6 which has a station next to the hotel; -The hotel is well maintained (less the hallway carpeting), with the usual services of a three-star hotel; -In this period of the year (September), the hotel was full of Russian-speaking tourists (for whom is interested, I am NOT) and part of the staff are also speakers of Russian; -The hotel staff is very kind and attentive to details; - The internet is free of charge in the rooms and free access to the bar, restaurant, reception but at a low transfer rate; - Breakfast is very good quality and quantity; -The beach and sea water in front of the hotel are very clean and quiet; -Many cats around the hotel and even daring and beggars; -Relative a lot of disorder around the hotel, with many unpredictable spaces, abandoned things and even garbage stored inappropriately although they have very active sanitation services. The recession through which GRECIA passes traces the city and its inhabitants (many places and abandoned or uninhabited houses)

Our travel agent described the Lomeniz Hotel as a 'moderate 3 star'. I didn't quite understand what that meant until we arrived. Let's just say, for us North American's, that means low end of a 3 star hotel. Although the front desk staff were friendly, and the room was a good size, it did not make up for the mold around the bath tub and on the shower curtain. The A/C just barely kept the room cool. For a fee, you can rent a safe, or buy internet service for your room (wi-fi only available in the lobby and pool area). Posted signs let you know that they absolutely will not tolerate you consuming food or drinks in the lobby or pool area if it was not purchased from the hotel. What it does have going for it is the proximity to the beach and Old Town. Beach is less than 5 mins away. You can rent a lounge chair and umbrella for $5 euros. Walk to Old Town is about 15 mins. Oh, and remember to pack your beach towel as they do not provide ...even for sitting by the pool.
