Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The location is fabulous, right opposite the palace in the pedestrian old town centre, adjacent to The Street of Knights. We had 4 nights here at the start of an island hopping trip over several weeks. It was a great beginning to the trip. The hotel is small, but very comfortable and accommodating. Breakfast each morning was a delight. The rooms were spacious with comfortable bed and air conditioning. Tea/coffee facilities and a large safe box. The bathroom could do with a little maintenance/redecoration to make the experience 5*.
We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our holiday and we were very happy with everything. Its just around the corner from Street of the Knights and Socratos Street on a pedestrian street. We stayed in the Grandmaster suite and had our own private jacuzzi and sun terrace. The room was large and very comfortable. There was complimentary water & a bottle of wine in our room. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the service was very good. The hotel manager, Nikos spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful and organised our taxi to the airport which picked us up at the door. We would certainly choose to stay at Nikos Takis on any future visit to Rhodes. Thank you Nikos and your lovely staff for a great stay.
Located right in the heart of Old Town Rhodes, literally on the Street of Knights, is Nikos and Takis Fashion Hotel. It is a small boutique hotel where the hospitality goes above and beyond and the staff knows your name. Nick is the manager and he is so sweet and speaks perfect English which is great for us as we are American. The lobby and the rooms and each uniquely decorated with medieval mixed with glamour. If you want to stay in the heart of Old Town in an ancient castle and have the most unique and special experience, this is the hotel for you, you will not be disappointed!
A small boutique hotel of 8 rooms Perfect location in old town, really a hidden gem Enjoy a pretty, relaxing and exclusive patio Rooms are bit heavy in decor but unusual and glamorous with windows, some of them opening to the patio The knights room is bigger than most, aiconditiionned, with tv and mini fridge with water in, a cupboard with enough hangers, toiletries and a kettle. Rooms are serviced every other day They give beach towels too (only issue I didn’t know what to do with my wet swim suit!) Breakfast is ordered and served upon request, fresh and tasty Big and unnecessary problem, easy to resolve though, is the bad coffee Although a Nespresso machine exists, they are reluctant to offer espresso. I would recommend either a machine in every room to complete the boutique hotel description or have a machine accessible to clients to help themselves if serving is taking precious time Nikos, the manager is helpful, friendly and polite I would definitely go back…
We have had a wonderfully relaxing week at this hotel. Nikos & his staff Ruby & Alika couldn’t do enough for us, & we now count them as friends.. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town & is just minutes away from the beautiful harbour of Rhodes. We found everyone very friendly & helpful. Our breakfast was freshly made for us every morning & was delicious. The rooms are themed & have air con & are very clean & fresh. We would certainly recommend the Nikos Takis Boutique Hotel . This was a true gem! Amazing service from A to Z! Lovely rooms and having all the amenities. Great service and staff! Absolutely helpful! And the location...highly recommended when staying in Rhodes! Will be back for sure!
My Wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in late September and we were very happy with everything. The location is perfect - only about 3 minutes walk to the Palace of the Grand Masters, Street of the Knights and Socratoos Street (the main bazaar/shopping road). Decor is very stylish; bold colours on walls and fabrics and quite a lot of antique furniture and objects d'art. There are two pretty terraces where a very generous breakfast is served, The hotel manager, Angelo Vagelis, is very much in evidence and eager to help in every way - recommending restaurants and organising car hire for example. We stayed in the 'Knights' room which is very charming but could be a bit larger. I am sure all the rooms vary in size and it is probably worth asking about size when booking. If the hotel has any fault at all it is that style and decor have taken precedence over function. I would certainly choose to stay at NikosTakis on any future visit to Rhodes.…
This small hotel is in a great location - close to everything in the old town, but not in a noisy area. The rooms are all unique. Breakfast is amazing! And Vagelis, the concierge, is wonderful - he helped us out so much, giving advice, directions, etc. We would definitely go back.
What a lovely place this is to stay perfect location right in the heart of the old town with all its lovely restrants and shops on your door step. The accommodation it's self was lovely very peaceful and relaxing and are host was a delightful man who was always on hand to help you with any problems or request. If you are looking to stay in rhodes old town don't look any further as this little hotel is the place to be. Thanks for everything Angelo you are a true gent and a credit to Nikos takos. Claire
Stayed Sept 2019, can't praise this place enough, only stayed for 4 days but during this time our host Angelo (Vegelis) was perfect, very approachable and easy to talk to should you require any information, on our arrival we hadn't parked our car in the best place so he took me on his scooter back to the car and i followed him to a more appropriate place, how kind...! Our room was very comfortable with an ample sized bathroom with everything you will need, our room opened out onto a large patio area where you can relax 24 hours a day, this is where breakfast is served by the delightful Arlica, a charming lady, always smiling and happy to chat. Breakfasts were varied and sufficient to set you up for the day The hotel is spotlessly clean and quite quirky with lots of interesting artefacts, i would say a Turkish feel to it, the room was cleaned daily, small fridge with a mini-bar, fruit and a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Very central to all attractions and approx 100 meters to the main high street. A wonderful hotel that comes highly recommended,…
