I`ve chosen this hotel instead of bigger ones and never regretted about my decision. If you come to Greece for hospitality, for attitude and for the feeling of being taken care of during your stay, than Nafsika is your choice. A couple of owners, Denny and Ioannis, were very helpful, always smiling, always positive, always willing to help. They`ve helped me arrange an unforgettable trip along the west coast with their friend, and this experience was priceless. The hotel itself is a nice place and has a good location for exploring the city: some 800-900 m walk - and you are inside the old town. The rooms are basic and clean. Don`t expect any luxury from this place, it`s a good city hotel for its price. I had room 508, it has a full sea view. The bed was good, everyday cleaning, breakfast was brought to my door in a paper bag every morning (Covid regulations). All staff wears masks. There is a small shop right in front of the hotel, where you can buy food, beverages and more, very convenient. The airport bus, that goes to the city centre, stops right near Nafsika hotel (Psaropoula bus stop). Also there is a taxi stop right next to the hotel (any trip inside the town is 5 to 7 euro). At the hotel they have a map of the city, and bus schedules for both east and west sides of the island. I recommend this hotel for those, who want to explore the city on foot, for those, who appreciate friendly attitude and prefer less touristic part of the city (though everything is really close to get there on foot). P.S.: amazing sunsets from the balcony of the room 508!

Everything is great. Beautiful view, towards the sea. Quiet. Pub nearby. It is a wonderful place, with welcoming people, landscapes, culture and civilization. Fast public transportation to the island's points of interest, safety, affordable prices and multiple offers for spending time.

This is a very clean, comfortable hotel, conveniently located across the road from the beach and a short walk to the old town of Rhodes. There are plenty of very good restaurants within minutes of the hotel. It is also close to the airport. The breakfast is really good with a nice choice. The staff are courteous, helpful and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a week in Rhodes.

LOCATION We have been in this nice hotel for a week in August. The location of the hotel is quite strategic because the hotel is situated near the sea and it is about 12 minutes from the ancient town of Rhodes on foot. Moreover, it is relatively simple to find near the hotel good restaurants, car rental shops, bus stations and all the other main services. STRUCTURE The hotel looks like a renovated structure because, with the exception of the floor corridors, the hall and the rooms are modern and clean. In particular, the bathroom has been completely renewed and it is very nice. The room is also equipped with an air conditioning system and a small freezer. The cleaning of the room was carried out every day as well as the change of towels. STAFF The staff is always very friendly, polite and helpful. They suggested us where to rent the car, some restaurants and they offered to call us a taxi as well. Especially, we have to thank the girl of the reception who speaks italian fluently and helped us different times. The reception is always open and, because of the nightlife in Rhodes, the owner is always well-disposed to welcome you also after midnight in order to give you personally the keys of your room. BREAKFAST The breakfast is simple and international. It reflects the quality- price ratio offered by the hotel. CONCLUSIONS In conclusion, during our stay we appreciated the kindness and courtesy of the staff, the room cleaning and the location.

Dear Travelers be aware that your booking is not safe with them. I booked Nafsika Hotel in Rhodos in advance by chosing pay at hotel option. I was thinking that my reservation is safe. Before the last Day of free cancellation they blocked totall amount of my payment plus city tax.  I sent an email to them as an expression of my concerns because I know well most hotels only pre authorised first Day amount.  "The deposit for the booking cannot exceed the 25% of the total accommodation cost, and on the other hand cannot be less than the charge for one night."  But as a response hotel manager told me to cancel my booking by paying cancellation fees. It was really rude, offensive and disrespectful. I was only asking the reason of city tax. as a customer I have a right to express my review. But manager was insane and expressing personal reactions not professional. Than suddenly Nafsika Hotel cancelled my booking last minute. Because I asked why they charged city tax before I stay at their hotel.  As a customer I did not agree with being charged with the city tax which is paid only if I stay at the hotel and is paid separately from the stay amount.  This is full season and they blocked my 409 Euro still not refound back to my card This is my first time facing with such a situation. For me it is another way of fraud. They first tried to offend me to make me cancel my booking than they did it last minute while still holding my 409. 50 Euro.  Nothing can justfy their act. I will apply  through legal channels

Response from Nafsika Hotel R, Διευθυντής at Nafsika Hotel
Responded Aug 5, 2019
Ms. Berna G. was a potential guest of our hotel who never understood the difference between “preauthorization”, “deposit” and “charge”. Unable to show the least willingness to grasp the difference between the above terms, even though we tried many times to clarify the payment and cancelation policies, she addressed arbitrary accusations against the hotel, using offensive language, and claiming in a bad will that she was ready to stay in our hotel and spread false information regarding our policies. We are very glad that the agent through which she booked her room acknowledged this exceptionally problematic case and gave us the permission to cancel her reservation.
