Manousos Hotel is situated on the beautiful Greek Island of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese archipelago. Rhodes was once the home of the legendary Colossus, a very tall and imposing statue considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today this amazing island in the Aegean Sea offers not only beautiful sandy beaches but also a wealth of ancient sites including the medieval town of Rhodes, which is itself a World Heritage Site.

Let me start by saying for the low price paid (due to corona?) the Room with balcony in such a central location was nice and good price value

Praise for the very friendly and helpful reception staff! I was offered ealry check-in and free late checkout and help with bus transport and bike rental.

My room on the 3 floor seemed to have not been used for some days and i found it a bit dusty. Furniture was in good condition. There is a water boiler but unfortunately no complimentary coffee or amenities are provided (not even on request).

The bathroom amenities are hand soap and a big bottle of shampoo. (did not felt very hygienic in these covid times, would have preferred single use portions)
The room is a decent size and the bathroom is well maintained even when not the most modern one.
Room cleaning was on request only but clean towels were provided and waste removed.

As the neighbourhood is part of the nightlife of Rhodos it can be some noisy during weekends but that did not bother me.
There are 2 mini supermarkets opposite the hotel.

As reviews praised the breakfast buffet I looked forward to that.
However due to corona room delivery breakfast came from a nearby restaurant (self order via webform) Personally not my style to eat from a box in stead of a plate when in a hotel. Besides: nothing worse then the luke warm coffee

We have booked two rooms for 3 + 3 people. Before arrival I was a bit nervous due to some tedious former reviews of this hotel. However I was very wrong it later showed out about that. This hotel had a kindly staff, two nice big rooms next to each other with nice balconies and overview. Our rooms got cleaned everyday perfectly and there was no disturbing noise neither from other rooms or from streets surrounding the hotel. Next to hotel there was a traditional Greek supermarket with a nice variety of food, drinks and other relevant items you might need on a holiday. The owner with pink framed glasses was very kind with a nice sense of humor. Breakfast was the traditional kind and ok. However a new and better toaster would be a good idea. The pool area was nice even though pool water was a bit cold. Also bar prices here could have been lower I think. Ten EUR for a cocktail a bit high when you compare to 6-8 EUR on many sorrounding restaurants. Neighborhood lively and friendly but not noisy. One block down you find the notorious party street with lots of youngsters and stripclubs. But if you don't like that then just don't go there. But still a cool place with a friendly happy venue. From the hotel you can walk to old town about 1 km and Akropolis about 2 km. Main shopping also about 1 km. The narrow streets makes it perfect to walk about and people drive nice. Supply of all kinds of restaurants is enormous and we had many good dining experiences. We were very happy about this holiday and the hotel is a very good 3 star hotel.

The location is good, the bar street is next block; you can enjoy some music from open balcony door and close it when the drunk karaoke starts. Air conditioning worked luckily, but some parts of the building are worn out and breaking easily, like the door locks. The elevator makes you want to say a prayer every time before going in. Pool is behind the hotel, access through the lobby, small but nice. Staff was friendly and offering to make expensive drinks all the time. The cleaning ladies were wonderful and certainly do their best to make the room look nice. Room view is building wall and balconies, you can only see the sea view from the balcony at the end of the hallway. Breakfast was low budget and everything swimming in oil, not in a nice way. Small shop across the street turned out to be the best option for daily goods and drinks.

Negatives:
Wildlife in the shower (some sort of insects living around the toilet)
Claustrophobic lift - one of the ancient ones which require you to manually open the door and fit exactly one person and half a suitcase
The interior is in dire need of refurbishing
Room are shabby
Awful pillows
Poor excuse for a mattress as well
Sad breakfast (quality of every item in the buffet was verging on offensive)

Positives:
Lovely personnel - the receptionist let us check in an hour early and check out an hour late
Location is convenient for a layover from the airport as the airport bus stops nearby. A nice restaurant nearby.

Overall, you get less than what you pay for. The pictures of the hotel look way better than it actually is. Don’t be tempted by the pool - you’d have a better time renting some cozy room in the old town instead.

Let's start from the pool....its such an amazing brand-new place out there at which we had special cocktails and chilling.
Staff works very professional and is too willing to provide suggestions to everything.
Room is very nice also
Location can't be better as it is near to everything
And breakfast has a wide variety of Greek traditional goods!!!

Safe to say it was horrible. The first 2 rooms we got were so dirty that we had to change rooms 3 times. Well the 3rd room was okay, but we woke up to the roof leaking. Went straight to the front desk, and they took 5 hours to come and check it out. I was luckily with my friend, and we decided to go to the beach to get our minds off off the room. When we came back the roof was ripped off without telling us about it. Went to the front desk again, and they gave us a new room. The staff also told us that the room would be ready in a day. When we asked about the room the day after, the man at the desk just laughed at our face and told that they have no more rooms. So never again.

I booked to stay here for 7 nights, but left after only one. The hotel is awful, and it misrepresents itself in its advertising. It’s in the middle of bar street in Rhodes town. So unless you want to party all night I would avoid
The place is noisy…banging on doors, shouting, and a lot of drunk people.
Around the pool, it’s party time every afternoon, so if that’s ur thing it’s ok. But you won’t be able to sit around it quietly as it’s advertising suggests.
The room was very tired also. Black mould all around the bath, and curtains that don’t close fully, so you can’t make the room darker.
I asked for a quiet room, and was given one overlooking the street……because the truth is there are no quiet rooms in this hotel…..don’t be fooled!
There are much better hotels around the area……this one is cheap and nasty.

A simple, pleasant hotel in the center of the city, close to all attractions. The price-value ratio is absolutely good! The staff is friendly, the cleaning lady is always smiling and tidying up the room. Bed linen and towels are changed frequently. The pool is pleasant, the sunbeds can be used for a drink. Air conditioning is included in the price. The young man with glasses works non-stop and can even play the guitar! We really liked the hotel, thank you!

Dirty bed sheets and towels.
Moody staff that took away our towels from the sunbeds the minute we rised up. They also made free drinks in change for five stars rating, so do not trust the star reviews, seemed like it was something they do a lot.
The aircondition was placed in a way so that both of us in the room got it right in the face when we slept.
Generally the room was dirty and all the work the housekeeper did was folding the sheets and give us small towels, ever tho we everyday asked for normal sized towels. They also threw away our stuff that we were eat and drink.
The music that was played at the pool was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other even though we sat right next to each other. When asking the staff to turn down the music they just rolled their eyes at us.

The hotel itself is nice and modern, breakfast buffet is simple and decent. Nice location, close to the beach and a few minutes walk to the old town.
My only complaint is the cleaning service, which can be improved. Bedsheets were not changed once during our stay, and the bathroom was pretty dirty (mould in shower, hard water stains on mirrors and shower glass). Cleaning consisted of just making the bed, throwing away the trash and changing towels if you asked for it. I guess you wouldn't mind that much if you are a teenager, but for me cleanliness is the first thing I look at, no matter how many stars a hotel has.

Det gikk delvis, men datt ut fra tid til tid. Å laste inn en video er som å rulle en terning. På terrassen fynket det ikke i det heile tatt etter min erfaring.
