Oh dear! Firstly the good: Cleaning/ housekeeping staff- My hat goes off to staff at this Hotel who worked tirelessly on our behalf in these strange difficult times. All staff helpful. Oh dear- now the not so good (ish.) I agree with previous reviewer, the food was quite bland and oh dear - the drinks watered down and what have they done to their cocktails???!!!! But? My biggest gripe is bagging of sunloungers!!!!! Why oh why???? The problem is this has a ripple effect as everyone then starts panicking so as to not lose a sunlounger. I have not the answer- villa next time?? And the guests obvious flouting of social distancing and I had no choice but to tell staff serving pudding when I saw a person place both hands - spread eagled on surface, wipe his nose with his palm of hand only to put hands spread eagled again on surface!!!!!!! Well done staff to your patience and vigilant behaviour with us customers. I liked the Hotel but a quick tour would have helped as we arrived late and Hotel bigger than you perhaps think. But I’m being trivial- overall I would return with a few tweaks such as - I’d ask for non frosted glass rooms- they really did detract view if under 6ft!! I would agree with other reviewers that drawers under bedside tables would be advantageous and wouldn’t take much for architect to re- jig? Also ???? No full length mirrors and I’m not vain but find odd that no full length mirror even on tight wardrobe next to door- The Pool ( main one ) lovely and warm- the sea warm but difficult to navigate ( not for anyone with disabilities!!!!) The wind though at times a pain- a very welcome bonus in the heat! My last comment is the Old Town Market and shops- talk about being harassed!! I know money is tight for businesses but we didn’t return to any shopping as it really was annoying being harangued even if you said “ just looking” Would I go back? Perhaps but might try East Side- lovely lovely Island though . A mixed bag I would observe xxxx

We stayed here for 3 nights before moving on to a different hotel in Greece. The rooms were really clean and the staff were so so helpful and accommodating. Location was also great for getting in to the old town and getting on the beach. However, the all inclusive food was really not good... very greasy and just not enjoyable. The alcohol was also horrendous. Cheap and sugary, for the 4 days we were here I was unable to find a drink I could consume/enjoy. The beer was fine but it would have been nice to have other options. I do hate to say it as the staff went above and beyond and other than the food/drink I can’t fault it. Unfortunately that is quite an important part whilst on holiday though...

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Couldnt find a fault with it....Staff and facilities excellent... On arrival we were offered a large selection of hot and cold food and the bar was left open for us to hve a couple of drinks. The main dining room staff were so lovely and Costa the manager seemed to run a tight ship.. Maria and Dora deserve a mention as they couldnt have been more helpful. Food was hot and very plentiful. staff served the food from the buffet and the slection wa always vaaried. In the A La Cate Restuarant Maria the manager was so helpful, I have a dietry need and she catered for me perfectly. Staff wore masks and delivered wine , red, white, rose and our favourite RETSINA. The Bedroom wa spotless with the towels and bed linen changed every day. Anna on the 5th floor deserves a mention for her care of us. Reception staff very helpfu and eager to help Christos the barman in the Belvedere Bar was so helpful and another Mari in there was also so helpful. Dont think Ive been in a cleaner or a well run hotel a this.....everything ws pristine especially the table linen. Downside....nope..... no drawer space in bedroom but that was not a problem. but one which they could probably sort next year. Airport was a nightmare, as it usually is at Rhodes. but once over that. fabulous time... We had to go into isolation on return, was it worth it....OH YES...

Having never visited Greece or any of the islands before, we choose this lovely hotel on the strength of all these excellent reviews and we were not at all disappointed! If you're the kind sour git who takes all your woes on holiday with you and expects everything to be your idea of utterly perfect, then you may find some sport in attempting to pick away at miniscule details. If this is the case, do everyone a favour and stay at home. :) So, on to the important bit. This hotel has lovely staff who become even lovelier if you bother to smile at them. They work ridiculously hard, especially at the moment. The food is really nice, plentiful and varied. All of the food available might not suit you, but please bear in mind you're on a Greek island and they have many tastes to cater for. There is a lovely variety of meats, veg, fruits, cheeses and breads, so if you really did fancy a bacon sarny to remind you of home, you could put one together yourself. The hotel is right on the beautiful sea front, I mean it really is stunning! It's within (if you have legs) about a 20 minutes gentle stroll of the staggeringly-beautiful old town. Alternatively, a taxi to the old town will cost about 7 Euros. The rooms are smartly-appointed and the beds are comfy. The Animation team Anna and Shell have the kind of energy and enthusiasm reserved for a pair of lovely spaniels who have just been released into a park. They are fab! A gripe from a few of our compatriots (we read the miserable reviews for fun!) is that the alcoholic drinks somehow contain no alcohol. These people may wish to review their drinking habits, as my wife and myself (both Rock musicians and no stranger to drink) found ourselves pleasantly sozzled in no time at all. For the amount you will pay to stay here you can't expect the finest wines available to humanity, as judging by the number of empty bottles we've seen, the hotel would be bankrupt inside a week! So, all in, lovely place, kind staff, good location. We're happy!!
