Long story short- degrading and disrespectful treatment,a very bad experience. We had a reservation for 4 Standart rooms with a sea view. At the check in we got an upgrade to 3 "garden view suits" and one room at the 13th floor. We found out that the suits are far away from the main building and at the third floor with no elevator (no one suggested to help us with our luggage). we immediately went to the reception and politely asked to stay at the standard room just like we ordered, since one of us is disabled and one is pregnant, and the long walking to our rooms is a physical challenge. We were treated with much disrespect and we got the feeling that there is no effort on trying to help us. Eventually, we agreed to stay in our rooms for one night and to move to a standart rooms on the next two nights. Than, we all found out that there is a terrible odor of mold in all of our rooms and in one of them there was also a stain on the sheets (which took them 45 minutes to change). Plus, if that wasn't enough the fire detector started leaking on the bed and we had to wait almost an hour for someone to come and see it.

We had a exhilarating vacation in Rodos Palace. A great hotel which deserves 5 star ranking. Beginning at the reception the staff very polite and friendly with a bright smile on the face, always ready to assist you even out of the way. Rooms on the 11th floor with a marvelous sea view, spacious, clean and well equipped. Shower and closets modern. Another thrilling experience was the abav sea VIP Lounge. In particular Irina was a lovely host. Will definitely come again and enjoy the stay longer. The restaurants and food were to the utmost satisfaction. Can not say much about entertainment Programme because almost every evening we were out discovering Rhodes. GOOD HOTEL, GOOD STAFF

The hotel building and facilities are great, a few renovations going on around the Spa and Pool area did not spoil our visit. However the running of what was advertised as a 5 star hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Meal Times (we went Half Board) in the main restaurant were at times like a Rugby scrum, The staff do thier best but if you leave your timing anywhere in the last hour the replenishment of the buffet is limited to say the least. We only ate evening meal on 3 occasions in a seven night stay. We had a Garden View room which was clean and spacious, beds were firm and comfortable. BE WARNED There are tea and coffee making facilities but if you use the tea and coffee supplied in your room YOU WILL BE CHARGED. The dome entertainment area is nice but let down by mostly second rate entertainment and high drinks prices with no draught beer available in the Dome. Hotel policy is not to give customers ice to take to the rooms so and soft drinks you have from the mini bar get warm very quickly. Another down point i that our hire car was damaged in the Hotel car park, after visiting reception, sent to security, sent back to reception to spaek with the operations manager, a 15 minute wait to be seen by a customer relations girl to be told that there are no cameras in the car park, very little symapathy shown. To sumarize Nice hotel, hard to see where the 5* rating comes from, Staff work hard and are courteous but Management policies leaves a lot to be desired.

We got a very good deal on this hotel for half board and had booked a standard unreferbished garden view room and were expecting one of the very tired rooms with carpet. However on arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room which had new wood floors which made such an amazing difference to the pictures. The bathroom and furniture were a little warn as expected but you could tell they were still high quality pieces despite their age. The room was perfect for watching the sunset behind Turkey each evening as it was such a lovely view. In the room there was a mini bar which was reasonably priced for drinks however charging €1.50 for a Lipton tea bag is a bit cheeky. The room also came with a safe however the hairdryer was poor so I’m glad we brought our own. Breakfast was overall very nice although very busy food seemed to be kept up with. There was a wide selection of choices from pancakes to bacon and eggs to salads and cold meats. Dinner was much more chaotic and the first night is quite confusing about who is getting drinks and how to pay etc but eventually got the hang of it. The food on the evening depended on the day but it was generally good quality the only issue we had was foods being mislabeled or simply described as ‘chicken with herbs’ or ‘vegetables with herbs’ wasn’t very helpful and it was a bit of guesswork. Also if you go later for dinner many of the options have already been taken away or ran out of which was slightly annoying. I would of liked free ice water like there was at breakfast as the drinks were very overpriced but I understand that the hotel can probably make much more money this way. The pool was really lovely however there does seem to be a lack of sun beds for the amount of rooms at the hotel and it was a struggle to get a bed after 10.30am. The main issue was that a lot of guests were reserving beds with hotel towels and then never coming down to use them. The lobby was beautiful however the lifts were a nightmare! Going up was fine even though it was a bit of a free for all but coming down for breakfast or the evenings was impossible. As we were on the 6th floor the lifts had already been full from collecting 17 down but 6 floors was still a long way down for us to walk several times a day. The staff were very pleasant and helpful however the front desk is also slightly chaotic. There is generally a queue system of people waiting for a free desk but occasionally some guests would just walk right up to the front and complete disregard everyone else. This is of course mainly due to a lot of rude guests in the hotel but it would be helped if staff told them to wait and didn’t just serve them as it made check out take double the time. The surrounding area is very nice and we went out every evening for drinks in local bars. We also ate out some nights to escape the dinner buffet and there are several choices of restaurants right outside the hotel. There is also a 12 euro taxi to old town which I highly recommend. The beach is very pebbly and not too kind to your feet however still a nice place to sit and rent a sunbed. One day we got a taxi to Lindos which was about 60 euro return which was definitely worth it to have a sand beach and traditional restaurants and markets. Overall we had a very nice stay and would come back again!

we have made a booking for 4 triple rooms three months in advance for our trip in June, and requested triple rooms and were charged a lot accordingly, once we arrived, we got small rooms that are set to be only doubles but they added us a roll up third wooden bed, which was old and broken and a very thin matress that could cause someones back ache. we tried to complain, upon arrival at 15.30 and after few hours we were asked to add an additional 480 euros to upgrade the rooms. as we refused, we asked them to change the beds, and we had to call the reception twice to remind them, and they didn't act friendly and were telling me wait until we find you another bed. they were putting two towels and shampoos although the rooms were triple. the tea and coffee in room were at a 2 euro charge each. bed sheets weren't changed all 6 days the hotel public areas were clean and the food was good though. but i dont recommend to choose the hotel in case you are spending a lot of budget on a hotel.
