The Rodos Park Suites and Spa really ticks all the boxes for a stay in Rhodes. For a start, it is outside the old town (so away from the noise and the scooters(!) but just 150 yards to one of the gates to the old town, so if sampling the delights of the most magnificent fortress and its museums and little alleyways is your thing, the Rodos Park is perfectly placed. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated - it is classy through and through. The pool is a decent size with reasonable loungers, though it is just by the road so there is a bit of traffic noise. We chose to have a twin room overlooking the ruins at the back which meant it was very quiet, though the room was small and there was little storage space (no drawers, for example) apart from a wardrobe. The beds were comfortable and the little balcony was very pleasant to sit out on. There are much larger rooms, all of which look out over the street though we were told they were not noisy at all. We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast, but that was terrific - a huge spread of cold meats and cheeses as well as juices and fruits and cereals and so on. They will cook eggs to order but there was very good scrambled egg and bacon and sausages on the buffet. And, for once, the coffee was excellent. Service was also excellent - the front desk could not have been more helpful. There is a comfortable lounge, a pleasant poolside bar and a lovely bar on the roof terrace with views over the old town. And there is a spa too, though we didn't try it. All in all, this is a very good hotel if you want a bit of luxury in Rhodes.

Excellent hotel within a short walk of Rhodes Old Town. Best bed and best pillows! Clean, friendly hotel with professional service and very helpful staff. Lovely pool with shaded areas which are very necessary in 30C+ temperatures. The hotel managed to cater for my allergies without fuss and provided delicious food. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is good - walking distance to old and new town and the beach. Breakfast has many different choices. Staff are friendly. Pool area is attractive. When we arrived at this "5 star" hotel we were offered an upgrade to a deluxe room. All good but when we got to the first floor room we discovered the balcony was directly facing the road - you could almost touch the cars as they went by. We went to reception to ask if a better room was available and we were offered a standard room at the back, which whilst quiet it was smaller with not a particularly attractive view, and only had twin beds. They told us to try again next morning and the same receptionist said nothing was available. However another receptionist intervened and put us in a swimming pool view room. This was much nicer although the room was quite small. The hotel has 5* prices but is I would rate it closer to 4*. There are 4* other Rhodes hotels that are half the price of Rodos Park and the same standard. If the hotel could guarantee in advance a room with pool view balcony then I might consider staying there again. Otherwise given the price of rooms I would go for another hotel as I would be unhappy with a road view room.

We has a wonderful week at Rodos Park. The hotel itself is brilliantly situated being a short walk from numerous restaurants, museums and shops in the old town. The hotel facilities were excellent. My treatment in the spa was top notch; the facial and body treatment are my recommendation. The staff were genuinely lovely; friendly and accommodating and the food was of a high quality. We would absolutely recommend without hesitation.

A delightful small hotel close to the old city of Rhodes. The room was fantastic with views out across the pool. The breakfast buffet is something out of this world catering for every taste possible, be prepared for a long breakfast! The pool is not heated but this doesn't really matter as it is refreshing to dip into when lounging around the pool. Staff were friendly helpful and delightfully polite, and George the lifeguard could not be more helpful going beyond the bounds of his role every day. Book a deluxe room overlooking the pool, rooms at the rear of the hotel overlook an archaeological site, not unpleasant but not as colourful as the pool aspect. We were B&B only and the walk into the old city is not far with hundreds if not thousands of tavernas to choose from, try to get at least one meal in one of the upstairs restaraunts. So a fantastic week - weather was hot and sunny and we really enjoyed it, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we will be returning.

After almost four weeks in Greece, and eight different hotels, I can say this was our favorite hotel for many reasons, first and foremost is the staff, from the bellman to the waitress to the front desk to the room attendant. Another review said that the staff couldn't do enough for them. We found that to be true as well. Everyone we met was genuine, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location and is luxuriously furnished. That being said, our room, although beautifully decorated with high quality materials, was small, especially the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was also our favorite out of the eight hotels we stayed. Wide variety of delicious food that varied slightly on a daily basis. The pool area is beautiful as well. While I didn't use the spa facilities, they are lovely. The gym is the biggest and nicest I have ever seen at a hotel. Highly recommend.

The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom438 contributions169 helpful votes
Ok Let’s start with the POSITIVES = The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is superb, one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The pool area is lovely, well kept, with a great Lifeguard Georg, who is very helpful. Now MY negatives - When we arrived we had booked a standard room and we were given room 120 which overlooks the back of the hotel. The room was one of the smallest bedrooms in the hotel I have ever seen considering this is called the Rhodos Park SUITES and spa. But our main problem was there was only one tiny wardrobe and literally one drawer, yes, one drawer for two people for a whole week. So I went and asked at the reception if they could move us to a room that had maybe a few more drawers and a little bit more space .And so they offered us room 108 which was probably 2 m² bigger than the other one, but which had a chest of drawers and some drawers in the wardrobe and some drawers beside the bed. The problem is they charged us €30 a night for what they called an upgrade to a deluxe room . It certainly was not a deluxe room. It was practically the same room as room 108, so for seven nights, we paid an extra €210, which I think is grossly unfair,. When I asked them, if they would consider lowering this price, they said no , so unless we wanted to be in very cramped surroundings, we had no option but to move to room 108 which we did. So it is, for this reason, and this reason alone that I have dropped my stars from 5 stars to 3 stars. The other thing was if you choose to eat in the restaurant, it is extremely pricey, and I heard other guests saying the same so consequently we only eat in the restaurant here one night and we went out at local restaurants all the other night and there are lots and lots to choose from with some lovely food. So all in all, yes, it is a very nice hotel, beautiful communal rooms on the ground floor beautiful reception,, but standard and deluxe rooms are small. I never did see one of the Suites so I have no idea how big they are.

Fantastic hotel. This was our third stay here and it’s always excellent. Lovely rooms, great breakfast, very polite staff, really nice pool area. Best of all it’s only a very short walk into Rhodes Old Town. We had a room at the rear of the hotel for the first time on this trip and it was great. Really quiet overlooking an archeological site with the afternoon sun. Already booked for next year!

We spent 10 nights in this fabulous hotel arriving at the end of August. It’s proximity to the UNESCO Old Town is unbeatable - just a five minute walk to the entrance and also the New Town and Mandraki Harbour in easy walking distance. It is a true gem with stunning interiors in the bars, dining room, lounge and lobby. The roof bar is amazing and the view at night to the Old Town is just captivating. The pool area is wonderful and relaxing, especially being able to go for a swim after a hot day’s sightseeing. We had a pool facing suite on the second floor which was nicely furnished and extremely spacious. The bathroom however, is in need of updating and clearly showing signs of wear and a shower curtain should never be present in a 5 star hotel. What makes this hotel so special are the staff and impeccable level of service. Special mention to Evangilos, The Maitre D’hotel who was always present and so friendly and accommodating in every way. Under his guidance he and his team lift this hotel to a true 5 star experience - thank you so much! Another special mention to George the lifeguard who again goes above and beyond. Thank you all for a truly memorable stay.

Where do I start? The staff - Ageliki, Kaliopi, Antoni, Evangelo, Niko, Claudine, George, the list goes on. Thank you all for you kind, caring hospitality, true FILOXENIA. We love you all. Location - perfectly between the old town & new & just up the road from the beach. Walking everywhere. The Propery - Sheer luxury. The rooms have been beautifully renovated, are clean & extremely comfortable. Roof top bars, garden restaurants and the breakfast; biggest buffet ever plus whatever else you want. The staff are super attentive and amaze by switching from English, to Greek to French then Italian without any effort at all. NOTHING is too much trouble. EVER! The pool sparkles under the watchful eye of George who will rush over with towels, adjust your umbrella & will direct you to prime position for sun or shade. What ever you want. This was our third stay here and the staff welcomed us with open arms, welcome drinks, thanks for staying drinks, it’s a hot day drinks & farewell sorbet. We couldn’t have felt more welcome or well cared for. We’re bringing our whole family next time to introduce them to our extended Rodos Park family.
