The view of the rooms facing the land is not very nice, so I broke 1 point, but everything else was very nice. Thank you to the staff. The hotel is in a very good location.Nice common areas and pool..
We stayed only one night in Rodos Park but that was perfect. Great location only a few minutes walk from the Old Town, on a relatively quiet street (and rooms on the back are even quieter as they are overlooking an archaeological site with ruins and a park), good efficient service, large and very pleasant swimming pool at the front (great to relax after a day traveling or sight-seeing)...
From the time you step into the hotel until you leave you become one of the family. The staff are all absolutely lovely, every one of them! This is a small but perfectly formed hotel, situated on a quiet street, a ten minute walk from Rhodes old town, with all the history of the Hospitaller Knights or a ten minute walk to the new town with it's amenities, and very interesting harbour. When we arrived, we were given a tour of the hotel and briefed on all of its services and also advised about the island of Rhodes itself, consequently we visited many of the extremely interesting sights during our stay(s) there. This was our second stay in Rodos Park, our first visit was in May and coming back in October was a very good decision; everything was as perfect as we remembered it and we were welcomed back like old friends. Our room (on both occasions) was on the third floor and faced the back of the hotel, overlooking some old ruins. If you like peace and quiet, these are the rooms for you. The front of the hotel has a swimming pool, dinner area and bar. After a busy day exploring Rhodes the pool is very welcome in the afternoon for relaxing, also sitting outside in this area for breakfast and meals is a very pleasant experience. The inside of the hotel is extremely clean and beautifully designed, just off of the entrance is a lovely library area, a great place to just sit and do not much at all. I can also recommend the cocktails on the roof - Amazing! Having spent a first trip to Greece in May and then rushing back again in October, to exactly the same hotel, I think says a lot. If you are thinking of a trip to Rhodes I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!…
A small beautiful hotel set in an ideal location just a few minutes walk into the new and old towns so ideal for site seeing and only 15 minutes walk to a number of beaches. The rooms are large and modern and easily accessible via the central lift and only a very short walk to the pool area which had a waitered bar service. The sun loungers although plentiful weren’t always in the direct sunshine. I can’t emphasise enough how wonderful and attentive the staff were going out of their way to ensure our holiday was everything we hoped it to be. A special praise has to be given to Manolis in the roof top Galaxy Bar who’s cocktails were superb. To top it off we even had dinner on our final night in a quiet area of the bar, overlooking the old town with Manolis attentive to our every need ensuring we leave with such fond memories of our stay. The Galaxy Bar in our opinion is Rodos Parks best kept secret. We hope some time in the not to distant to return once more and a big thank you once again to all the staff. …
Have spent one of the best weeks holiday in a long while. All the staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and want to make sure you are happy - from arriving to positive front of house & bellhops onward. The room was spotless, the staff brilliant - another towel (long hair) no problem, 2 pool towels not a problem - and they were always smiling! The food was excellent at dinner - I was on half board (not usual for me) yet the Michael could not have been lovelier - offering alternatives which weren't on the menu when it was something I couldn't eat through to choosing a table where I could eat and read my book (single travellers there was not the usual tucking us out of the way at a bad table or making one feel out of place because we were just one. Brilliant!) Pool is super - whilst I know I've been at the end of their season, the pool area was spacious and well furnished, with the actual pool stunning - never was there anyone else in there with me. (Maybe the other guests also liked the feeling of it being their "own pool". Easy walking into either the old town, new town or the coast (good, safe walking). Again a must for the single female traveller who likes to explore. I must give a massive amount of praise to the spa team and particularly the hairdressers - I arrived in a mess and by day 5 was the best I felt in years! Never been brave enough to have my hair done away before - but the hairdressers who have the contract with the hotel were superb. Long way to come for a cut, colour & highlights but even if it was just a blow dry to make one feel special. Finally, one of the best check-out/late leave operations I've had in a while - none of the "extra" charge sharing a "checkout room" with a given time slot, you use the spa facilities: showers, lockers for handbags/etc, hairdryers, fluffy towels and lovely products so you swan out to meet your airport taxi feeling great. I would highly recommend. My only areas for improvement and advice to fellow travellers are: > Breakfasts: Whilst good choice most hotels I've stayed at of this standard offer "to order" item, such as soft boiled, poached or fried eggs for example. Plus the cereal choice was limited (3). The toasters were annoying as there was no "eject" button. Things do get cold very quickly from serving dish to table. > Rooms: rear rooms 1st floor and near to lift a no-no if you're a light sleeper > Music (pool area for sure): same loop each day…
