Hotel is clean, location is very good, friendly, kind, and helpful staff, but rooms are old fashioned, totally different from the photos. Uncomfortable beds. Also rooms are too narrow. Two people can't move at the same time. The worst is very weak isolation of sound. You can hear every sound from the next room, corridor, and the sound of wind from outside.

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
We stayed here on 13th May and got a regular standard room. We were going Island hopping and only booked the 1 night. We knew what to expect as we've stayed here a few times over the last 3 years. It was as we always had. A spotlessly clean basic hotel. Good Wi-Fi and everything we needed. Reception called up a cab to the port and we left early the next morning. So we missed the complimentary coffee and cake. We checked in again 3 days later. The receptionist asked when were we last there. When we said a few days ago, we were given our room key. When we got there, it was a far superior room to what we have had before. Much more luxurious with a massive comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Once again, we had to leave early to get a ferry so missed the tea and cake. We will be back again one day. It's a friendly hotel with lovely helpful staff.

Visited for 10 nights. Pretty basic facilities. Good location and conveniently situated for the harbour, beaches and town (about 7-8 minutes walk). About 15 minutes walk to the Medieval Old Town. Many lovely traditional restaurants very close by. Rooms basic but clean. Big comfortable bed. Shower in bathroom which overflowed as drains needed cleaning. Linen changed regularly however some towels were threadbare and sheet and quilt cover had holes in them. Room cleaned daily without problem. They only provide small shower gel, soap and shampoo on arrival. Free access to safe box in room was handy. Wardrobe space inadequate. Balcony fine. Rooms not very soundproofed! Hotel description said mini fridge in room but on arrival there wasn't one. Asked at reception and fridge was promptly brought to room without issue. No tea making facilities in room but they do provide a basic free coffee /tea/biscuit service in reception area in the morning which was nice. Plentiful and varied breakfast provided (cooked and continental) in sister hotel a couple of minutes walk away where staff were exceptional; very hard working, welcoming and helpful with excellent English. Reception area rather drab and in need of upgrading. Rugs and settees have seen better days. Wifi was unobtainable in our room (maybe other rooms were better) but worked ok in reception area. Small lift/elevator in lobby area. Small selection of reading books available left by previous guests. No sign to suggest a bar is available and seems you have to ask. Local supermarket sells wine and beers which we kept in fridge to drink in room. Rooms at the front of hotel do experience some road /traffic noise at times. TV in room rather pointless as only shows local programmes in Greek. Pool area clean. Sun loungers on very comfortable. Over all our stay was good but improvements could be made in many areas in this hotel.

Ideal place to stay prior to catching a ferry next morning. Modern, clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast included at nearby hotel. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, especially when it came to finding a restaurant open at 10.30 at night!

The receptionists were not friendly The room was quite small and the bathroom very outdated. The breakfast was little diversified. The location is good, not very central but near restaurants and shops and 15 min. walking to the old city.
