We had lovely week at this hotel. Buffet breakfast was served in the Angela Hotel which was a pleasant surprise as it had been advertised that we had to go to a neighbouring hotel to eat. Good selection of hot and cold foods, with a slight varaition each day.

The pool was clean and quiet (10-17th April), and the loungers were very comfy.
The room was a good size. We had tea & coffee making facilities, a fridge, and a safe. The bed was sooo comfy. Blackout curtains on the main windows were great to keep out the light and the heat. Unfortunately the glass panelling between the bathroom and bedroom still meant you had alot of light in the morning (we blocked this out with spare pillows on the bathroom window).

As a city hotel, it was more suited to adults. The entrance was accessed by half a dozen steps, and although there may have been ramped access at the back to ground floor rooms (and reception via the breakfast room), I am not sure this is a wheelchair friendly hotel.

A short walk to the beaches, Old Town, and all the restaurants - a great location. The weather was perfect and due to the timing of Orthodox and Christian Easter holidays, Rhodes was quieter than it normally is at this time of the year so a few businesses were not yet open which meant the place wasn't rammed with tourists and we had a great trip.

We enjoyed our week in the hotel. Breakfasts were fine and the whole environment of bedroom, pool area and foyer all kept very clean. We knew what to expect from a three star choice but we did not use our balcony as it looked simply at the building next door.

Soundproofing in the rooms is not great.

There is a small bar but you need to ask the receptionist to double up as bartender.

All staff very helpful and anxious to please

Location was perfect for all the attractions of Rhodes old town and harbour and all within walking distance. Transfer time to airport around thirty minutes.

Lovely central hotel, yes it is on the road but traffic noise was not a problem. Very friendly and helpful staff. Max 20 minute walk to everything, beaches, restaurants, old town etc. Room was great, TV, fridge, air con, coffee and tea, saftey deposit and toiletries all included. Towels changed every day, not really necessary, but sheets not changed, if fact the first morning the top sheet was taken away and we had to ask for them back. The only thing wrong was that the matress protector was waterproof/rubber so not very comfartable but the actual bed was very comfortable. The web site states it has a bar but it looks like it is not in use. After our first week we say people with drinks at the pool and discovered that if you asked at reception they would get drinks for you. The breakfast was as you normally get except the boiled eggs were hot and soft, sometimes too soft, the fried eggs were soft too. The pool area is quite small, the sun loungers are very comfortable but could be more of them. Also the umbrellas were fixed to the ground and very difficult to put up. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Only visited for a 3 night break with my sons, the hotel is spotless and in a prime location. The gentleman behind reception couldn’t do enough for us, and always with a smile - an asset to the hotel; thank you!

A relaxing vibe, rooms have air conditioning, fridge and safe FOC! We had a late flight back and paid a nominal fee to retain the room longer however the hotel has spacious individual shower rooms for this purpose.

I will most definitely be returning.

Thank you Hotel Angela....

Lovely hotel and would 100% recommend!

We booked a superior double room with a city view however we were given a pool view room which actually turned out to be a nicer view! The room was as described in the photos and all of the staff were lovely. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in!

The hotel is in a fantastic location for Rhodes town and the harbour; both only being about a 5 minute walk away. Rhodes Old Town is also close by, taking approximately 15/20 minutes to walk to.

The included breakfast is at another hotel less than a 1 minute walk down the road. Breakfast is varied and includes continental items such as fruit, cheeses, ham, pastries/cakes and bread as well as hot items such as bacon, sausages, egg etc.

The rooms are cleaned daily with towels replaced. The pool area isn’t the largest with about 12 sun beds (which are the comfiest sun beds I’ve ever used!) but when we were there (end of September) we never had a problem getting a sun bed. The pool has the sun on it all day, although some sun beds do go into the shade as the day goes on. Bear in mind this is true for when I was there, other times of the year may be different!!

The hotel also has 2 shower rooms downstairs stocked with towels and shower gel which were perfect for getting a shower before we had to leave for our flight.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The price the hotel charges is great value for money and I would definitely stay again if I visit Rhodes in the future!

Where do I start… This hotel looks totally different to the pictures online this was the first disappointment, the beds are so slidy, very dull rooms they need improving and everytime we had a shower the bathroom would flood. You have to go to a different hotel for breakfast and it is the worst excuse of a breakfast I have ever seen. The choice was from mini hot dog sausages, fatty bacon, cakes and biscuits. I complained to the manager and she was very unprofessional so were the 2 girls on reception. The manager said I was the first person in 15 years to complain about the breakfast so I shouldn’t be complaining and I should go to my travel agent who I booked with, wasn’t interested in resolving at all. The sunbed situation is appalling, a big city hotel and they have 14 sunbeds available, we had to go to a different hotel pool everyday! The reception girl unlocked and came into our room unannounced twice!! As we had the iron but I just felt unsafe after this. Walls are so thin you can hear neighbours conversations and the hotel doors slamming are so loud. The only good thing about this hotel was the location as you are right in the centre of everything. Wouldn’t stay here again but would return to Rhodes 100%, they definitely need to speak to their staff about customer service!!!

I am just coming to the end of my week holiday here in Rhodes where I’m staying at the Angela Downtown Rooms. I checked in around 2am on arrival, staff are lovely and helpful too. Freshly made bed everyday, the maids are also lovely too.
I paid for bed&breakfast- breakfast isn’t in the hotel but it is approx 2mins away to “Oktober rooms” where breakfast is served. The ladies working the breakfast are really nice&kind constantly working to get food out and clearing tables as they go along!
The only downside to Angela Hotel is that you can hear neighbours coming in and out of their rooms… which didn’t bother me but may bother someone else. The door to the lift is heavy so it slams which cannot be helped and once asleep.. you don’t hear it!

The hotel is literally a 10/15min walk from the centre of Rhodes Town.. lots of restaurants around to choose from, there’s a Zara&Sephora close-by too which I enjoyed browsing in. I also enjoyed walking down to the Old Rhodes Town, seeing the cats everyday.

If i was to come to Rhodes again… I’d definitely stay here again! Definitely recommend!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and I would like to share my experience. First of all, the location of the hotel is quite good. It’s conveniently located near many tourist attractions, which made our travels easier.

However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness. The bed linen was stained and overall, the hotel did not meet cleanliness standards. This negatively affected our stay and made us feel uncomfortable.

Additionally, we experienced a constant noise issue coming from a gap in our room, similar to the one shown in the photo. The continuous humming sound made it difficult to sleep at night, and some nights it was very bothersome.

Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to our expectations in terms of value for money. There are better options available within this price range. I would advise future guests considering this hotel to be cautious about the cleanliness and noise issues.

Great hotel. Perfect location. Paid for the superior room and city view. Such a nice street to look over from the balcony and watch the world go by. Nice shade on balcony on city view side after lunch. Good aircon. Breakfast served a few doors down and was really good. Lots of variety, really nice staff. Hotel is closed to new town in Rhodes and 10-15 mins to the old town. You wouldn’t want to stay in the old town, too many noisy tourists. Also really close to the sea. Pool at hotel was also really good. Great stay and would return if we are back in Rhodes.

Stayed for just one night, booking in at midnight after a late flight waiting for an early morning ferry to Tilos. Good rate, room was clean and bed comfortable toiletries provided. Included breakfast taken at sister hotel 2 mins away. Good selection available from 7 am which is great as our ferry departed at 8 am. Located just a short distance from ferry terminal. Check in and out was very good. They also arranged the taxi to pick us up from the airport. Would certainly use again and recommend for this type of trip.

I'm not completely sure, but I think the room didn't have tea/coffee facilities. My room was extremely old fashioned and basic unlike the photos released by the hotel. Hope this helps.
