Can not thank Manolis enough he is a great host nothing too much trouble. after returning from a 10 day stay at villa Liana. This is our second visit peaceful perfect location short 10/15 min walk into as we call the strip plenty of bars and eatery. 5 min walk to local bar and corner shop and even a tarven.Thank you for a perfect holiday.
Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks in Pefkos and the amazing Milos villas. We stopped in villa Anastasia which was perfect for our part of 4 adults and 2 children. We where stopping in Pefkos to attend a wedding and the other 3 villas where taken up by other family and friends of ours and are equally lovely. The villa has everything you could need whilst away with full air conditioning throughout and 3 lovely balconies and individual pools for each villa. The villas are set in a quiet location with beautiful gardens from which Manolis the villa owner was happy for us to pick grapes, figs, and almonds from. Manolis the villa owner was fantastic he always helped when we had any queries and made the holiday even more perfect. Although the villas are in a quiet location they are only a short walk to the busier tavernas, restaurants and beautiful beaches! Thank you Manolis we will be back in the future for certain!…
What a host Manilos is. The villa was perfect, quiet and fantastic location. We both had 2 or 3 great conversations with Manilos who is very kind and helpful. The villa is clean, comfortable, roof terrace with an amazing view, private pool and very close to good tavernas and shops. From the villa there is a small beach called Kavos which is lovely, sandy and quiet. You can walk from there on the beach to Lee beach which is a larger beach but still very sandy. We took a boat trip around all the best beaches of Rhodes which are not so sandy but more stones and pebbles. There is a bus stop a 5 minute walk away which will take you to Lindos for €1.80. Lets just say from our experience Lindos is lovely but very hot and not so much of a breeze. It is also alot more expensive and we could not wait to get back to Pefko where people are so lovely and friendly and so much choice of tavernas which are a joy to be in. Manilos Thank You so much for making our stay so wonderful. Helen and Russ…
Manolis was a great host. He was there for us the entire time: giving us advice, asking how things are each day, very keen on hearing if we need anything or we find something that is missing from the house or can be improved etc. (I noted these things in the other section), complementing us with fruits, wine at our arrival. The house in which we stayed (villa Arete) is practically brand new (as far as I understood it was renovated last year) and also very clean, had everything you desire from a vacation house: fully equiped kitchen, very large and very nice decorated bathroom, air conditioning in each room (the house has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one small living room able to host a couch that can be easy transformed in a double bed), 3 places outside where you could have a chat, or lay a dinner (one on top of the building, one at the first floor, one in the mini garden). The complex with villas is very beautifull, they are all greek white painted, having also a little bit of tradition inside as well (he showed us a small villa which was very traditional in style). The pool is beautifull, clean, nice, bigh enough; before arriving I tought that the pool will be like a bath tub, but we were surprized in seeing that is very decent in size. The bed sheets were changed once in the 7 days that we stayed, which is more than enough. Basic cleaning like taking the garbage etc. was done more often. As a nice touch I enjoyed that we had also beach/pool towels in the room. The villas are very close to Pefkos (close to Pefkos beach as well) and also near a supermarket, small ATM, a restaurant (if you need a quick breakfast etc.) and also close to Lindos (the St. Paul's bay beach was the loveliest on the entire island: cool, nice food , nicest view.). Please keep in mind that the following statements are only small, and friendly suggestion; you can have a 10* vacation without them as well; I just noted them here in order to be of help to our great host. I am sure he will investigate and fix everything that he can: - I hated a little bit the noisy ventilation in the bath that was downstairs. It seemed it didn't had enough power, but as far as I understood it was the best thing that could be done. It's not that bad, only a little annoying. - We suggested to Manolis to put some mosquito nets because the room that was downstairs and also the kitchen were both at ground level, and we were a little bit afraid in keeping the windows opened. - Another thing that I would suggest would be to take a new stander for hanging the towels and wet stuff we brought from the beach, and that because the existing one is a little flimsy.…
This was the first time of booking a villa for us, in a few words, we loved it. As already mentioned there are five villas, four of which can be rented. 2 detached and 2 semi-detached. There is a shared pool, however next year extra pools are being added to the larger villas. The villas are 25 years old, however due to recent refurbishment they certainly don't look or feel it. They are spotless, air-conditioning worked brilliantly, the beds are comfortable, each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen, not that we cooked at all, had everything we could have needed. The location was perfect for us, there is a restaurant named Eleni which is one minute away, excellent food. The nearest bay is a short walk, however we opted to be pool side, the pool area was clean, plenty of sun loungers, just great. Pefkos main area, albeit two roads mainly, was a ten minute walk from the villa. We had four outdoor seating areas, wonderful in the warm evenings. All in all, this was a great place to stay. …
We stayed in Villa Gemma many times and have recently returned to this location, staying in Villa Liana September 2016. The villas have been refurbished since the photos were taken and are being further upgraded this year and are stocked with all you need, particularly in the large kitchen. The place is spotless. The villas are located in the best part of Pefkos. It's a 10 minute stroll into town (so you have the peace and quiet but accessible to the town) but there are four great restaurants within 200 yards - Eleni, DePapa, Anixis and Nicholas. There is a small beach within a 5 min walk of the villas. The pool is cleaned daily and has plentiful sunbeds. Manolis runs the place. His dad, Nico, designed and built the villas. We're booked back for this September - looking forward to a chill out at the pool and wandering over to Eleni (20 yards away) for an ice cold beer.…
