Mango rooms is a hidden treasure. It is the right choice for those who are looking for a clean centrally located accommodation having all the basic amenities you need (including air-conditioning, a safe in the room). There is a restaurant downstairs where you can have breakfast or dinner if you like. The owner, his family and the staff were very...

We stayed here both in April and May for a week and it's central location with historical surrounding, everything is great. Family owned very clean comfortable rooms with a traditional restaurant under . Owners Dimitris and his wife Amalia are so friendly and helpful. They will help you with everything to spend a good time during your stay in Rodos!...

I'm traveling solo long-term. For my needs this place was perfect - clean and centrally located. The owner was very kind to me, inviting me to join him for lunch at his cafe and giving me his cell number in case I needed anything. I was there in off-season and the Old Town was practically deserted. In fact, I was...

A mosque is being restored nearby and perhaps that's why it wasn't screamingly busy with tourists as are some of the other squares. We were given a space at the end of the hall and it was surprisingly quiet for all the people and activities the Old Town of Rhodes attracts. Since my adult daughter and I rarely get to...

We were on our second visit to Rhodes old town, an evening visit as this was cooler than during the day. We were walking through the small streets with delightful shops, when we came across a small square with a restaurant under the trees, 3 Dorieos Square, Old Town. The food was all home cooked and delicious I had taramasalata,...

We arrived in Rhodes early in the morning, around 10am, and did not yet have a hotel booked. We wanted to stay in the Old Town, and were referred by the Tourist Information office to Mango Rooms. Although it's located in busy Old Town, it still manages to be a little off the beaten track, in Dorieos Square. This charming...

This is a charming spot. Don't arrive at night - arriving here is painful, the taxis don't know where it is, and can't fit in to the tiny lanes even when they find out from a local. So the taxi is expensive. Try to arrange a transfer from the hotel - but give them a few days, don't try to...

Friendly manager, wonderful location 300m from the main square in old town. Rooms are quaint, well kept and clean. The rooms are small for 3 people and bathroom small, but if you are there to rest and sleep only, it fulfills its purpose wonderfully. The sign outside suggests there is a bar and restaurant, but these were closed down due...

I had a bad experience... I booked the mango rooms, but when I arrived, the rooms where not working... So, the employee told me to go to another place (which does not look like a guesthouse or hotel..). I hate that because was not I booked and was not safe and they do not gave my money back. Don't book...

“The rooms over the square are nice - a big tree and a gazebo, as well as blokes starting up early to restore the mosque directly outside. Combined with the clanging of the church bell it makes a Sydneysider feel totally relaxed.”
