Irène or irena (sorry in advance 😀) was very nice, provided us with great areas to visit. Welcomed us with smiles . Thanks you so much! In addition to the perfect services, we had hearty and various breakfast 😜. The room was perfectely clean with appropriate equipment. Pretty quiet place with only 5 rooms, so just perfect. The room called Anthony and globally the house are really nice. For sure, we will come back ! Maxime and Laetitia

Room Tip: Not far to the old town, and it s better to live outside the old town...pretty growdy.

This room is unbelievably small almost claustrophobic to be honest. We were so disappointed when we arrived. Balcony was dirty and although no fault of the owner the noise from the bar next door was really loud. When we arrived we phoned owner straight away who said she would happily refund offered us another place but it was as bad after checking it on trip adviser. She said she would agree to refund but after finding out we had booked another place then changed her mind. We had booked it after reading reviews on here however this is not the same owner who is listed under previous reviews so beware and don’t go by them. Towards the end of our numerous conversations she showed her true colours which you will see in her response to this review, basically called us liars when we told her the issues we had with the place but it was us that was there and paid for it out of our own pockets. We lost our money but enjoyed our next booking in Rhodes which would have been terrible cooped up in that shoebox. Avoid booking you’ll be disappointed and there’s lots of better places near hand.

The room was very small and had a strong mould smell, as was the whole building.
There was no balcony, only two windows.
He didn't have a swimsuit or slippers, and it was listed on the benefits. Parking on the street (not the hotel) and laundry at an extra charge.
When I asked where I could spread our swimsuits and towels, they referred me to the back of the courtyard, to something rope (!!!) in front of other rooms, in the area that serves breakfast! Note that our room was on the first floor without an elevator.
There was no closet in the place, except an open hanging space with 6 hangers.
The television only played German channels. We mentioned it 3 times to the girl who was in the place and the answer was to try to fix it because she doesn't know!!!!
We were given two pages to fill in all our details both without being mentioned before or immediately after the Reservation and definitely without needing anywhere. Indeed these pages were in English(!!!). The girl's answer was that they rarely have Greeks!!!
Finally in the breakfast there was only one type of coffee (French) and the spoliatoids were so bagiatic that they were not eaten. From a slice of toast bread(!!!) and packed jams. The only positive the omelet (from 2 eggs) and fresh fruit.

We had a lovely stay in Villa Sanyan. Yannick and Sandra are a French couple who purchased and beautifully restored this guesthouse. They obviously take pleasure in running it. Sandra was not in Rhodes during our visit but we enjoyed chatting with Yannick at breakfast, each morning, learning a little about his life and living in Rhodes. The villa is within a short walking distance of all the sights in Rhodes town. Yannick gave us useful tips on the most important to sights to see and how to reach them. He told us which restaurants were the best. The breakfasts were impressive and everything in the rooms was new and in great condition. I highly recommend choosing the Villa Sanyan for your stay in Rhodes.

Easy walk to the beach, the old town, the new town and fairly easy walk to the Rhodes Acropolis so a great location. The hosts are welcoming and go the extra mile to provide the right experience for their guests with appropriate suggestions for places to visit and dining opportunities. Sandra and Yannick make you feel at home and are very helpful. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and have everything you need - including a beach bag and towels. Highly recommended.

Booked a very last minute escape to the sun and we were so lucky to find a room at the Villa Sanyan. From the first correspondance by e-mail, to the airport pick-up by Yannick and then the warm welcome at the property, it was completely perfect.
Our room was Maria, which is the only one with a balcony and we loved sitting there and watching the goings-on down below. The room is beautifully decorated with a great bathroom, there's a fridge and out on the landing tea/coffee making facilities and cold drinks on offer. The delicious breakfast is served out in the garden which is such an oasis in the middle of the town.
You can get everywhere on foot - the old town, the beach plus there are restaurants nearby in the new town, so the location is ideal.
We were sad to leave after our 5 night stay - what Sandra and Yannick have created is a beautiful establishment with much attention to detail where you really feel at home. Their hospitality and warmth is second to none.
Highly recommended!

Everything about the villa was perfect, located 2 minutes from the beach with lots of restaurants and bars even closer, the old town is about 15 minute walk away. The rooms we're very stylish with aircon, tv, mini fridge and a safe. Breakfast was good with different choices every day and the coffee was lovely. But what made it really special was Sandra and Yannick, they we're so welcoming gave us lots of idea's and tips and were genuinely interested in how our day went, by the end of our holiday we felt we had made two new friends.

What a wonderful find. Yannick and Sandra are brilliant hosts and we were fortunate indeed to have the pleasure of staying at this villa. We stayed for one week in Room Maria. The room was well presented and the balcony was the bonus for a morning cuppa or evening digestif! The Villa has been sensitively converted and restored and is in a great location, 10 mins to the beach one way and 10 mins to the old town the other way. Yannick & Sandra go out of their way to ensure their guests are well fed (the breakfasts were excellent) and well informed on the best places to visit and restaurants to dine out. It felt like staying with old friends such was the warmth of their hosting. Overall it was a wonderfull experience for which Alison and I are very grateful. Thank you.
