Well I really do not know where to start to be honest. So I shall start with the positives. The staff at this hotel were really friendly. Any issues you have, they do their best to resolve them. Couldn't fault the staff at all to be honest. If you're looking for a lovely quiet holiday, then this hotel is probably for you. Good for couples, and those looking to relax. The hotel does offer a free shuttle bus to, and from the beach. The pool is probably the best thing about this place, it's peaceful, and so quiet, and has the sun on it all day, so you can tan up until your heart is content. Unfortunately that's about as good as it gets. Now for the negatives, of which there are a good few. Firstly, and I cannot stress this enough, the food at this hotel is extremely bland, and very repetitive. If you stay here, just make sure you like watery spaghetti bolognese, as it is on the menu every day, both for lunch and for dinner. I also hope you like rice, as this is also on the menu every day. We asked why these are on the menu every day, and we were told because they are cheap and are in the hotels contract. As an all inclusive hotel, I would expect a varied menu, me and my friends actually ate away from the hotel most nights as a result of the poor menu and food this hotel had to offer. This hotel would be better off offering a self catering option due to the poor food, it would save its visitors wasting money on all inclusive. The chefs cooking the food, you would think they know what they are cooking. One night we asked what a certain food was (as the food isn't often labelled up in the evenings) and we were told it was "chicken." It wasn't. What it was, was fish. So please if you have any allergies, please make sure you let the hotel staff know, otherwise you could spend your vacation in a hospital bed. This might not be all that bad, as I'm sure they would serve you better food. Secondly, there is a severe lack of entertainment. This hotel does not suit children. Children will be bored as anything here, as this hotel does not have an entertainment team. They do have a Greek night on Mondays, which consists of Greek dancers, dancing and throwing paper towels all over the floor instead of plates. Apart from that we didn't experience any other form of entertainment when we were there. Thirdly, the hotel rooms are nice, but make sure you have bug spray/repellent, and I hope you like ants as these can be found in the shower room. Speaking of the shower room, the shower did not hang from the wall; so I had to hold the shower head myself, every time I wanted to take a shower. The air con is free, but very noisy, so if this is on when you go to sleep, you do not sleep very well as a result. Fourthly, just a heads up, this hotel has multiple venues on site, some of which aren't exactly next to the main reception/hotel/pool. We were put in a building about 300 metres down a steep hill, and had to walk uphill to get to the pool area, and the hotels "restaurant." The good news is the hotel does operate the use of a golf buggy, and you can pre book this with the hotel so that they can pick you up and take you to the main hotel. You also do get to use the sister hotels facilities, but we never took advantage of this. The all inclusive snacks weren't anything to shout about, the best snacks they did were the soft scoop ice cream, that comes from a tub pre-bought. The all inclusive drinks were very limited and didn't offer much, just a local beer that was probably watered down, a couple of cocktails (sex on the beach, and the diagoras special, which is basically a blue lagoon). You can get soft drinks on tap, as well as orange juice. Excursions, if you book through the hotel, you're getting ripped off. We managed to do everything we wanted to do, at half the price they were offering them at. Local bosses are so cheap, so please do not book busses through the hotel. We went to Lindos by bus for 1 euro 80 (single ticket). Rhodes Town for 2 euro 50 (single ticket) Just beware, busses are 1 way only, so you will have to pay for your return. But local run busses are still cheaper than the hotels bus service. Overall, believe it or not, we did enjoy our holiday, away from the hotel. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would definitely not stay here again, unless they changed the menu, and added some entertainment.…
