    Diagoras hotel
This hotel was very friendly, in a good location with a 15 minute walk into faliraki, so it was very relaxing and quiet but a close walk to the centre. The hotel also provides buses to the beach in faliraki. There are buses in faliraki to visit places like lindos and rhodes old town aswell which aren’t expensive. People need to remember when going to this hotel how much they pay, you can’t expect luxury, the value for money is amazing. There are 2 cocktails and a variety of other drinks on all inclusive which finish at 10.30. The food is quite varied, breakfast isn’t amazing though part from the pancakes! The pool area is very nice, and rooms were nice.. beds were quite hard. All in all, had a brilliant holiday here, I recommend unless you want luxury, but why would you think you were getting luxury paying the price!!!

    Overall stay experience
I would highly recommend Diagoras hotel: the staff was friendly and helpful, especially the romanian lady at the reception, Marilena, she went above and beyond whenever we needed something in the room. What i would personally advise them to change would be the food, how they store the food after serving it, because sometimes the salad wasn’t fresh. Also, they could improve the food experience by introducing more greek food and diversity to the all inclusive menu, to have a wider selection to choose from. Apart from that, everything was great.

    Great stay!
Had a great time in this hotel! Located about a 20 minute walk from Faliraki center. Rooms are basic, and cleaned every day except sundays. In our room there was no water cooker, lots of sockets for all your electronics. Bathroom was clean, but after taking your shower the floor was completely wet and pretty slippery. The tiles in the room get slippery too when wet. Breakfast is simple, not too many options, but perfect to start your day with! We had breakfast pretty late, so we didn’t have lunch many times. Same with dinner, we loved to go to town and mostly had dinner there. All inclusive is from 10:30 till 22:00 for your drinks. The absolute best part is the staff! Lots of young people trying to make your stay the best stay ever! All very friendly and always smiling. They love to have a chat with you, so please do so! Will visit this hotel again if I go to Rhodes again (and if the travel agency offers this hotel again)

Hotel Diagoras - Faliraki - From the beginning I have to tell you that we are a family of simple people, modest without pretences, people with hands as they say. This hotel is not even close to 3 stars, all inclusive, rather a kind of complete boarding house , food based on various mixes (spiral pasta with grated cucumbers and grated red cabbage, leftover tomatoes in the oven and Parmesan on top, invented recipes). There were no cards above the dishes so that everyone knew what they were eating because there were no recipes for such dishes far from Greek cuisine. Every day between meals there was the same check and biscuits on two trays. Shame on the management and including the chef who agrees to make such messes that they call food. Poor quality, diluted drinks are also served in thicker plastic cups - they reuse them, which is not normal, if they were disposable they were ok, but I don't agree with that (pure disease). If you want to take a shower in the morning, there was no hot water, the same happened in the evening after 11 p.m. The rooms are large and clean, towels are changed often, but the furniture leaves much to be desired, the rusty refrigerator, the climate that we cannot turn off in my room only if we remove the card or directly from the insurance table and many others, I honestly wouldn't come here again. The strong point of the location is the swimming pool. Lesson learned, for a few extra pennies you better go to 4 stars, there is a big difference between 3 and 4 stars all inclusive. After all, we work for a year to put the pennies aside to have a decent vacation and we really don't I want my compatriots to suffer what we suffered despite some good impressions. Each with his own opinion.

DO NOT COME HERE!. My friends and were placed into this hotel at the last minute for a week. The first thing that we realised was that there was a half eaten beef sandwich in the cupboard upon arrival. We had asked the cleaners to remove the sandwich the next day but it was still there. Rooms were very rarely cleaned with Ants always being found in the bathroom. Food here was very bad with the safest thing to eat was pancakes and spaghetti bolognaise every day for a week. As my friends and I have just finished our A Levels we wanted to be within an easy walking distance to Faliraki. The location of this hotel to the actual town is very poor, having to walk 20 minutes in 32 degree heat as well as having to cross a dual carriage way each time we wanted to go into town. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes a way, but you also have to walk along a dual carriage way with no clear footpaths for pedestrians. Overall my experience at Hotel Diagoras was very poor with the facilities and the service that they provided was not at an acceptable level and did not meet my basic expectations of general cleanliness .

Don't be like me and ignore the bad review's,please believe every word. Everything about this hotel is terrible. The food and drink is inedible and I am not fussy at all. It's not the repetition *this happens at ANY "all inclusive" ..i use that term lightly ! It isn't all inclusive. Tea and coffee is free to help yourself to at breakfast only..they then turn off the machine. If you want hot drinks after that you have to wait for them to boil the kettle whilst serving other customer's..it makes zero sense. The plastic glasses are not washed properly so when you ask for water it tastes of the previous drink. The soft drinks are flat and taste luke undiluted cordial. Orange and apple juice at breakfast needs to be diluted with 4 times the water as they're so strong. There's not even a toaster or toast at breakfast surely that's just a basic thing..never stayed anywhere without a toaster ! If you have young children they will be starving or have to eat bolognese at each and every meal.they served fries once in 7 days one tray so everyone was that hungry they went. None of the food is labelled so you have to guess what the actual food is..i thought one tray was rice pudding. Turns out it was mashed potato..the sliced potatoes are uncooked and soggy. All the food is cold even if you are the first one to eat. Desert is ok but again nothing labelled so its a complete suprise what flavour ice cream you will get. Snacks are basic cheese sandwiches on a tray with cake from breakfast time..be prepared to wait 10 minutes for tea or coffee at those times as the kettle needs boiling. The staff are not used to British guest's at all and they make it blatantly obvious they dislike you..as do the majority of guest's. Never been to a more unfriendly place tbh. The location is on a dual carriageway with no footpaths..you have to basically walk on a motorway to get anywhere as the free bus they advertise at night doesn't exist. There's one in the day which stops at 6pm. The pool never got cleaned the whole week we were there;nor the area around it so sticky drinks all over the floor. The kids pool isn't a pool its a square of dirty water. There's no steps into the shallow end of the main pool its bizarre. Our room was down a dark footpath past a derelict building and decrepit park. The building had no fire alarm as it was smashed. The shower was like you get in a caravan a tiny tray that flooded..patio doors open to face a farm with a cockerel squawking all noon and stray dogs coming to your veranda for water..which is fine..if they provided you with as much as a cup in your room to put it in ! No snacks available only from a vending machine and the shop is a good 10 minutes walk down that motorway so no good if you have kid's in pushchairs. Music round the pool is a radio station that plays the most un holiday like songs I have ever heard. Avoid this place its cheap for a reason

This Hotel is one of the worst I ever stay . I was lucky that I have to use this place for only 2 days. We are ended up eating outside a hotel as the food was something from different planet they should fire the chef and when I ask for ice tea they told me to pay for it as it's to expensive to make for them . Please don't call this "ALL INCLUSIVE" if you charge a guests for non alcoholic drink . The owners should go to different hotel for a all inclusive experience before they advertise . In this place the time stop 20 years a go my kids are not fussy but they told me that this is like a camp site more than a Hotel. Not a hope 3* if you lucky 1* If you don't want your holiday to be a disaster don't book this place the owners should have something to thing about if they read all the negative comments NEVER AGAIN !! Positive : The room was clean and the staff doing there best to make your stay little less painful

Well I really do not know where to start to be honest. So I shall start with the positives. The staff at this hotel were really friendly. Any issues you have, they do their best to resolve them. Couldn't fault the staff at all to be honest. If you're looking for a lovely quiet holiday, then this hotel is probably for you. Good for couples, and those looking to relax. The hotel does offer a free shuttle bus to, and from the beach. The pool is probably the best thing about this place, it's peaceful, and so quiet, and has the sun on it all day, so you can tan up until your heart is content. Unfortunately that's about as good as it gets. Now for the negatives, of which there are a good few. Firstly, and I cannot stress this enough, the food at this hotel is extremely bland, and very repetitive. If you stay here, just make sure you like watery spaghetti bolognese, as it is on the menu every day, both for lunch and for dinner. I also hope you like rice, as this is also on the menu every day. We asked why these are on the menu every day, and we were told because they are cheap and are in the hotels contract. As an all inclusive hotel, I would expect a varied menu, me and my friends actually ate away from the hotel most nights as a result of the poor menu and food this hotel had to offer. This hotel would be better off offering a self catering option due to the poor food, it would save its visitors wasting money on all inclusive. The chefs cooking the food, you would think they know what they are cooking. One night we asked what a certain food was (as the food isn't often labelled up in the evenings) and we were told it was "chicken." It wasn't. What it was, was fish. So please if you have any allergies, please make sure you let the hotel staff know, otherwise you could spend your vacation in a hospital bed. This might not be all that bad, as I'm sure they would serve you better food. Secondly, there is a severe lack of entertainment. This hotel does not suit children. Children will be bored as anything here, as this hotel does not have an entertainment team. They do have a Greek night on Mondays, which consists of Greek dancers, dancing and throwing paper towels all over the floor instead of plates. Apart from that we didn't experience any other form of entertainment when we were there. Thirdly, the hotel rooms are nice, but make sure you have bug spray/repellent, and I hope you like ants as these can be found in the shower room. Speaking of the shower room, the shower did not hang from the wall; so I had to hold the shower head myself, every time I wanted to take a shower. The air con is free, but very noisy, so if this is on when you go to sleep, you do not sleep very well as a result. Fourthly, just a heads up, this hotel has multiple venues on site, some of which aren't exactly next to the main reception/hotel/pool. We were put in a building about 300 metres down a steep hill, and had to walk uphill to get to the pool area, and the hotels "restaurant." The good news is the hotel does operate the use of a golf buggy, and you can pre book this with the hotel so that they can pick you up and take you to the main hotel. You also do get to use the sister hotels facilities, but we never took advantage of this. The all inclusive snacks weren't anything to shout about, the best snacks they did were the soft scoop ice cream, that comes from a tub pre-bought. The all inclusive drinks were very limited and didn't offer much, just a local beer that was probably watered down, a couple of cocktails (sex on the beach, and the diagoras special, which is basically a blue lagoon). You can get soft drinks on tap, as well as orange juice. Excursions, if you book through the hotel, you're getting ripped off. We managed to do everything we wanted to do, at half the price they were offering them at. Local bosses are so cheap, so please do not book busses through the hotel. We went to Lindos by bus for 1 euro 80 (single ticket). Rhodes Town for 2 euro 50 (single ticket) Just beware, busses are 1 way only, so you will have to pay for your return. But local run busses are still cheaper than the hotels bus service. Overall, believe it or not, we did enjoy our holiday, away from the hotel. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would definitely not stay here again, unless they changed the menu, and added some entertainment.

I have just came back from this hotel with my husband and 2 teenage children I will start with the positives. On arrival I instantly noticed how nice the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were told we had been upgraded too a 2 bed apartment rather than a family room so we was impressed by this. When we got to our room which was down a path near what I assume used to be a kids club but was derilict and the park was ancient and did not look safe. Once in our room we noticed quickly how old it was there was bare wires hanging out the walls the shower was tiny and flooded the whole bathroom. The rooms was spacious and had air con which was good. I’m the morning we went up and easily found a sun bed around a good sized pool breakfast was poor only good thing was pancakes other items consisted of hot dog sausages runny beans and either fried eggs or scrambled and the bread was stale. I quickly realised there was no entertainment by the pool no pool bar although this was stated. Lunch was about the best meal and that’s the only meal where they had chips all the other food was fatty pork most days or soggy fish. Don’t get me started on the drinks the Apple and orange juice at breakfast was like tar it needed diluting and still tasted disgusting and the carbonated drinks had no taste was just like drinking carbonated water when we complained they said it’s local cheap drinks we stated we had Tesco value that tasted better than that. Only decent drinks were sex on the beach cocktail and sprite. The hotel is far out from falaraki takes 15 min to walk and is along a very busy road hotel as not got a shop so if u want crisps snacks etc u need to walk about 15 minutes to the nearest shop. There is no entertainment day or night I believe there was a stage as that’s what it shown on pictures but it’s no longer used neither is the pool bar. My kids spent most holiday on there phones as there was nothing to do I have stayed in over 10 3 star hotels this is by far the worse not even a game of water polo. I will state the hotel is clean and staff are firiendly and know every one u don’t need wrist bands this hotel.
