Where to begin? OK was supposed to go to Lesvos for a month in March/April, just as everything went into lockdown. Worked through to july then had 2 weeks on Crete, great time. I decided after being back for 6 weeks decided that another holibob was in order, hence discovering this little Greek Gem! flew in and got a bus from the airport to Rodos Town, then changed to get to Faliraki (Cost about 5 Euros) bus stop about 5 mins away from the hotel (Quite a steep climb up , bu I am 63 and didn't have a problem.). Booked in and was shown to my room, small, basic, clean and had a great view out over the Aegean. Nice pool, plenty of shade if you want it, and 10 mins from Faliraki main. I don't go to bars on holiday, so wasn't interested. Now we come to the stuff you want to hear. The owners of the Hotel also run the Hotel, they do everything, cook clean run the bar, etc etc. Michael , Zsuzsanna and Mikes brother Georgis (I think unless it is Georgio) do the lot between them,. From day one they made me feel so welcome and part of their family, they don't just go the extra yard, they go an extra Light Year! I ate with them, laughed with them, swam with them, and was adopted by their 2 gorgeous children Seve and Dimitris. I enjoyed it so much that my 10 day stay turned into 12 and cost me a lot more than I planned and it was worth every penny. We chat most days over the tinterweb thingy, and I am already planning my next trip out there as soon as I possibly can. There were some young lads there who did party a bit, but hey, we were all young once and a nicer bunch of young men I couldn't have met. I cannot praise my new friends highly enough. Efheristo poli file mou, tha ta poúme sýntoma! XXX

Booked two weeks here through on the beach website, only ended up staying 6 nights before we had to fork out for another hotel further up the road it was that bad. Never before have I had to change hotels during a trip away so was very disappointed by this. It's cheap and you get what you pay for which I was fine about but as the nights went on it was louder with groups of young guys from midnight to 4am partying on the terrace area and then drunkenly going to their rooms after shouting at the top of their voices down the corridors. We told the staff a few times who did nothing, can understand they are here to enjoy themselves but they had no respect for any other guests trying to sleep. Aside from that, the pool was nice and big, the hotel itself is off the main road so nice and quiet. We were also miss lead about the aircon which we were told it was included with the room booking and then arrived and had to fork out another 45 euros for it as its not included. Overall cheap and budget friendly but we obviously were here at a bad time with the groups of lads holidaying

Had a lovely stay at Telhinis - the staff went over and above to make our stay great. They knew us by name, and remembered what we wanted for breakfast (which was also super flexible to our needs). The hotel itself is really basic - but it was clean, tidy and had all the amenities you need. It was about a 10 min walk to the main shops/restaurants/strip area. Overall it was brilliant value for money, and I can’t overstate how lovely & helpful all the staff were.

Nice clean hotel. Lovely lobby area and large pool area with shaded and non shaded areas. Fridge in room, we had breakfast also. Went during covid so it was table service, I’m guessing it would usually be self service but not sure. Bar open 24 hours. Staff are friendly which I think makes so much difference to a holiday stay. The room is basics but lovely and clean, as was the hotel at all times. Good location for so many beaches and lovely bays. Staff said hotel was fairly full but it was never overcrowded anywhere, nice balcony view too. Well done Telhinis!

This was a last minute booking. Upon arrival i was thinking i was miles fm everywhere, however it is only a 10 mins stroll to bar street . The staff at the hotel were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were a little dated, but were very clean. Everyone was Covid aware and ensure our safety at all times. I would definitely return here, no hesitation.
