5 stars hotel - no, absolutely not. Despite this hotel is built in 2016 according to Apollo.se, it is worn and lacks of maintenance. The size of the room are ok, the bed creaks, the handle in the shower hangs out of the wall (see picture) The cleaning is not satisfying, the shower and the mirror was not cleaned most of the stay. The terrace was dirty and never cleaned. (See picture) 3 times We were missing toilet paper after cleaning and had to call reception. Cushion on outside chairs are turned with the wrong side up due to dirt on right side. (See picture) I’m unsure if the pool at the room actually is cleaned like the main pool. At arrival reception was friendly and very helpful service, and the staff are generally friendly, especially the two ladies in the “outside “ area in the restaurant. The half board menu, which is a buffet, is actually ok and contains something for everyone. Since my wife has food allergies, we had mailed before arrival, to ensure they were able to fulfill our request. First day chicken breast was cooked with oil, thus this was one of the requirements, that no oil may be used. Waited another 15 min for the next dish. Second day, we waited 45 min for chicken breast and two boiled egg. Third day we waited 1 hour and 10 Minutes for same. Complained to the manager, who told us that it was because the chicken breast was made in the A la carte restaurant. But funny enough the second dish on the first day, arrived after 15 minutes. Day four the plate was served 2-3 minutes after we arrived to the restaurant. It shouldn’t be possible if prepared in another restaurant. And to end the story: No hot water in the shower att the last day. I’m sure there are a lot of hotels on Rhodes which provde a better offer and who actually are at 5 stars level.…
My husband & I booked this as a last minute honeymoon/babymoon, we booked an exclusive sea view with private pool, we were not disappointed. The room and the view were spectacular, really comfortable bed too. Our pool was too cold for us to use due to it being April but we still sat out there and dipped our toes in. The pool next to the spa is warm so we went in there for a bit. I also had a pregnancy massage in the spa which was lovely! We visited the main restaurant for our breakfast and dinner, there was a wide range of options in the evenings with different themes, pizza, chinese, lots of fish etc. We also hired a car from the reception which was €70 for the day, we visited lindos, had a walk around, sat by the sea and had lunch at the Ice Bar, cheap & cheerful. The staff at this hotel were excellent, Julia the manager helped us no end with our queries and ensured we had a relaxed stay, her effort & hard work didnt go unnoticed, she is a real asset to the hotel and she made us feel special. Would definitely recommend staying here if you fancy a nice relaxed break. Thank you for having us Sinead & Martin…
The Village is amazing! Everything is so beautifully designed. The Village staff are nice and smiling. Breakfast is very good. Everything is clean. We took an upgraded room with a private pool, the room was beautiful. We loved everything !! We will definitely be back again!
Completely exceeded all my expectations! You will not be disappointed! The decor, grounds and aesthetics of the hotel are beautiful. The attention to detail creates such a peaceful and calming environment. The staff are all so welcoming and extremely helpful. The room I stayed in was spotless and very comfortable. Lots of neutral colours, woods, linens and natural materials frame the beautiful view of the trees, sky and sea from the balcony. The grounds of the hotel are well kept, lots of greenery and flowers. The hotel is set on a hill, so routes of steps to get up to the room/down to reception & main pool area. The walk down to the main reception is peaceful and calm, with beautiful views of the sea. There is however a shuttle that runs up and down if the walking is not suitable for you! The breakfast buffet was extensive, everything you could want/need! Plenty of fresh fruits, yoghurts, warm pastries, cooked breakfast items and fresh juices. The dinner buffet was also very nice. Everything was tasty, and had no sense of ‘bulk canteen cooking’, everything felt as if thought and effort had gone into it. I ate at the a la carte restaurant 3 times, the menu is concise but something for everyone; grilled meat, fish and pastas! The view from the restaurant is beautiful, with lovely staff and calm ambience. The pool area is clean and the sun beds are super comfy for an afternoon nap! The main pool is also heated which is a bonus. The hotel really blew me away, and I felt so welcomed and relaxed for my whole stay!…
It’s difficult to express in this review just how impressed we were with every single aspect of our stay at Esperos Village! From the moment our taxi arrived we were greeted with welcoming smiles and fantastic service that was perfectly measured without being overbearing. The whole ‘village’ is immaculately maintained, wonderfully clean and plentiful in luxury. The sun loungers are really comfortable, poolside service quick and delivered with a smile. Breakfast hosts an unbelievable array of delights and it’s difficult to imagine that anyone would want anything more than was on offer. We didn’t sample the evening buffet but I can only presume it’s just as spectacular. There are too many staff members to mention by name however special mention must go to EVA and VIVIENNE in the Idolo Spa who provided simply the most amazing couples ‘candle’ massage; the best of my life so far! Without a doubt, we will be searching for another opportunity before the end of the summer to come back and I’d have absolutely no hesitation in encouraging anyone to stay here. Well done, Esperos team, you’ve got everything right here!…
We had an amazing stay with very friendly service & very good food. The whole place was clean and we felt comfortable all the time. It is a secound Trip worth it. Great Job from all the staff! The room with the private Pool has a great view! Highly recommended!
It was a wonderful stay, from the transfer to the residence to the farewell. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, proactive. The facility overall excellent. An all-round beautiful experience!
There are a lot of great things about this beautiful hotel and as close to a 5* experience as one can get in Greece. Visited in April which is low season and tried to use as many facilities as possible given how much it cost. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained and you get the sense of luxury as soon as you arrive. From arrival the staff were welcoming and made check in seamless. Bubbly was offered and bags were taken to the room by the friendly driver. Over the stay we dealt with various staff at the front desk and their drivers and porters and can say that they were all very friendly always with a smile, helpful and attentive. The double/twin room was spacious and clean with linen and towels changed every day. Amenities in the room including tea, coffee etc. Daily breakfast was extensive in choice, fresh, delicious and abundant in quantity. The front of house managers in both restaurants were very pleasant and even remembered us as the days went by. Went for dinner once and again it was an extensive choice and delicious. Pool areas were well kept and given the size of the complex did not feel overcrowded although April is low season so might be busier in summer months. The infinity pool is a great feature and could see lots of people taking pictures and videos in there. Small but useable gym with enough machines and fresh towels. Beach bar (Ammades) was great and excellent service provided by Christos. Enjoyed the food there better than the bar restaurant at the hotel. Again went in low season so cannot vouch for when it is busy season. Did not try the spa facilities as have to pay €20 entry per day. Some areas that could be improved are: (1) the housekeeping team could be quieter around the guest rooms- most mornings we heard them talking loudly before they even knocked to clean the room. (2) I didn’t understand by bottled water is not automatically replenished in the room. (3) Cleaning was done with a vinegar spray/dilution of some sort as that was the lingering smell left in the bathroom particularly afterwards- not particularly pleasant. (4) The hotel should offer a pool service with a drinks waiter taking orders so that guests can have their drinks brought to the sun beds without having to go and order at the bar- again maybe this was because it was low season but it was inconvenient to have to walk to the bar to order food and drink which was brought then to the sun bed. (5) Cocktail menu is limited and some bar staff were better than others at making cocktails and their general attitude. Elisavet made the most excellent cocktails out of all the bar staff and also she was the most friendliest. (6) Some of the evening entertainment was very poor- honestly the Jersey Tones are not worth booking. Terrible singing, terrible choreography, terrible outfits. (7) they should only use the bottled water dispenser in the gym and not from the water cooler as this water tasted really odd! (8) the spa entry free of €20 stopped me from using this facility. For guests staying a certain amount of days (say 5+) I think this should be waived for at least one day. Checkout at the end of the holiday was equally seamless and friendly. I wouldn’t go back myself personally because I didn’t like the location of the hotel so close to Faliraki (extremely tacky) and not much else around apart from other hotels. We ended up staying a few nights in Lindos and Rodos just to break the trip up and experience more of the island. However I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a luxury all-inclusive experience and didn’t mind the location. The market for this hotel is for those wanting an all-inclusive luxury experience not venturing far outside the confines of the hotel. If this is you then go for this hotel!!…
So friendly! The staff is always ready to assist you. Rooms are just perfect with exceptional views. We really had a great time. Breakfast & lunch are pure quality. Many things to choose from and simply delicious. The hotel is located near Rhodos city. Renting a car is necesary if you want to discover the island (which is really beautiful).
The service was very good. The staff treat their guests very well, are extremely polite, friendly and attentive. Stay was very pleasant overall. Had no issues. The views from the room and the pool area were also amazing.
