We stayed in a suite apartment with private pool for one night during our trip around Rhodes and it was fantastic. Great staff, beautiful suite and everything was brand new and spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Easy to walk into town but perfect location for a quiet nights sleep. Highly recommend and would definitely return here.
Best full English breakfast in faliraki in my opinion and the wife's all fresh top quality UK products nice bacon sausage and the hash browns very nice we go most days the staff are so friendly and always very polite well worth 8 euros with a choice of tea coffee or orange juice after the first 6 days we didn't have to order the staff new our order how nice many thanks
returned to their Studios for a 9 day break. Everything was absolutely spotless and the breakfast was to order and delicious. The beach at the front is good as are local beaches. The pool area was quiet and the Snack bar service was excellent. There are leniently of good local restaurants which offer good choices for evening meals. Its an easy walk into Faliraki by the beach or the road. You don't need to go as supermarkets are nearby. There are pleasant local walks too. Staying in ELPIDA (which means HOPE!) is really restful. The place is a delight and Despina, Elpida , Tina and her other staff are all really helpful. There are beautifully upgraded rooms on a bed and breakfast option. The decor is fabulous. Might try one of them next time!
We stayed here for 9 days and couldn't fault anything. The refurbished rooms are 1st class. Location is quiet and close to the only official Naturist beach. About 20 minutes walk to Falaraki centre although we never visited. The staff are super helpful and everything is done willingly. Although many Greek islands are suffering at the moment we only had smiles from everyone and couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our stay. Thank you all.
My partner and I stayed for a week in September. With the challenges we have all faced during 2020 and with us both being essential workers, we needed a few days of peace and quiet to recharge our batteries and, reading the reviews, this looked just the place. We upgraded to a sea view room which looked right across the bay and was lovely. The room was spotless and very modern and we were very well looked after by the ladies at breakfast. We ventured into the bar area a couple of times, but much preferred the area around the harbour where there are some lovely restaurants. As we had a late flight home, on our last day we decided to pay a little extra to keep our room until 7pm. Our cases were virtually packed and ready for the last few items to go in and we thought it would be nice to to be able to shower and relax for a while before setting off. On arriving home, I found that a new dress I had bought for our holiday was missing. I thought it unlikely that it had been left accidently, but contacted Elpida who checked the room and they confirmed it had not been left. Considering our case was securely locked with a combination lock and a padlock when we left the room and was still locked on our return home, I am sorry to say it suggests the dress was taken from our open and partly packed case during our last day. I contacted Elpida again to voice my concerns and was told 'it couldn't possibly have been a member of staff as no-one entered our room on our last day'. Sadly, this statement is not true because fresh towels, of a different colour had been placed in our room when we returned. We still had a lovely holiday, but this incident has left a slightly bitter taste, and the fact that Elpida have dismissed my concerns completely is disappointing. I would not wish this to happen to other guests staying.…
A fabulous studio apartment complex with pool and snack bar. Despina and Tina will do their best to provide everything that you need for the perfect holiday. Stunning beachside location, very clean and well looked after. You cannot find better.
We’ve just spent a week at the Elpida and loved it. Location is right on the beach. It is a 10/15 minute walk up the beach to Main Faliraki action (wasn’t our thing) which makes the location fantastic is you want a quiet spot. There are bars and restaurants within a stones throw and those on the beach are great. We ate in Faliraki Strip one night and it was the worst meal of the week. Pool area is fab and the team working there were really friendly and helpful. We went for basic studio apartment (there are higher grade rooms) as we reckoned we would be our way more than we would be in. The room was fine. Clean, good air con and fridge and kettle. Bathroom was clean. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great location and a quieter break.
Great location for a quiet holiday right by the beach, with a lovely view across the bay from the terrace. It was only a relatively short walk to restaurants and the lively town, but far enough to not hear the music from the bars. The room was spacious and the wet room with shower perfect, including the option for a blue light. The buffet breakfast was varied and always provided plenty to eat, and the bar was open 24 hours for snacks and ice cold and hot drinks. The lasagne was particularly tasty, and the long island iced tea excellent. For more substantial meals, there was a great restaurant next door, also with a delightful view. The sea contained many rocks, which was great for snorkelling.
Wonderful staff and very clean rooms from the moment you enter the hotel you are greeted with welcome smiles and good energy from the front desk staff. I stayed for 2 nights total as i was visiting relatives near by . Asked for an iron and immediately was offered one .
If you want to stay on a quieter beach with great facilities, then this is the hotel for you. The hotel bar area is virtually on the beach also, and is an area that will provide shade if you need to get out of the sun. Here, you can walk to the sea for a swim, and walk back to your apartment to change. There is also a changing hut and shower if you purchase a sun bed. The sea is a bit rocky, but creates a sort of pool area where most people congregate. Those with snorkels, or who are better swimmers venture over the rocks. It is a 10-15 minute walk along the beach to Faliraki town centre, and you will pass many restaurants and bars on the way. Our favourite was Maria’s - a typical no frills Greek taverna with excellent food. The marina with boats taking you to Lindos and Rodos is a 5 -10 minute walk away (which has a beautiful fisherman’s church to visit) as is the local bus stop at the back of the hotel area. The bus takes you to Rodos, Lindos and Kallithea Springs (well worth a visit - it’s beautiful). The hotel pool doesn’t have steps leading into it, so I would have found it difficult getting in and out. As the sea was so close it didn’t matter anyway - sea shoes recommended. The bar is open 24 hours - not for rowdy parties, but for those people who arrive late at night, and want to relax with a drink after their journey. The bar sells food until 11pm. I recommend the traditional Greek food, and rolls - absolutely delicious. We bought some rolls for our return journey. The nudist beach is round the corner, however, there is a bit of a walk to where the sun beds are if you want to go. The rooms are 3 storey, and mainly face the back or side. There are no lifts. However, we changed our room to 219 on the 3rd floor (54 steps), but worth every one. We had a nice view from the back balcony, and a stunning sea view from the front door - nobody had any reason to pass our front door as it was at the end of the corridor, so we sort of had 2 balconies - beautiful! The rooms were cleaned everyday, and were spotless. Kitchen had the usual 2 ring electric cooker, kettle and fridge with tiny freezer. No WiFi or television in bedrooms, however, we found a few Greek music apps to play. Paid €15 to keep our room till 4pm, as we were leaving at 5pm. This area of Faliraki seems to be less popular with British people, however, the reception and bar staff speak English well. There is also a little area of books at reception that you can take to read, in different languages, and I left a finished one of mine in exchange for a new one. If I come to Rhodes again, I would probably only book here. It made for a wonderful holiday. Thank you Elpida, it was lovely x…
