THIS HOTEL IS NOT THE EVITA RESORT IT IS THE EVITA BEACH BUT NOW KNOWN AS THE EVITA ELITE ( it is no way elite of any sorts) The food was very poor, the cooked meat was out on the side no dish cover flys all over it carrying god knows how much bacteria. None of the food was labelled. Not a great selection for breakfast or lunch, the “snacks” of pastries and fresh fruit inbetween meals was inedible holes in the fruit. There was also no fresh juices just carbonated very fake flavoured orange, lime etc even for the cocktails not great for the girls on the trip but the beer was great. The staff did not speak great English and could be extremely rude at times the cleaners where lovely and there was one man who worked the night shifts that had great manners and always helpful. No option to get a safe when we first turned up only just managed to get a kettle inwhich we got to get rid of the ants crawling all over our balcony the nest running right through the wall from the outside to in . Luckily the rooms where great clean, tidy, nice and modern. The sun beds where also really comfortable great for catching the sun all day by the pool. Not for children really or big groups much more suitable for elderly couples. Although the staff at the bar and dining area where rude front desk was great helped us get taxis into rhodes town and the water park. As we were leaving the last two days they had started renovations to the dining area putting in doors so hopefully it is a much safer place to eat as there was wasps around anything we took to our tables.…
Came here on Friday the 19th and they had no room for us.. so they got us a taxi to Rhodes Town and ok the apartment they put us in was ok better than this one tbh... we came as an all inclusive which I wish I never as the food is awful... same stuff every day and every night.. nothing is labelled so you don't know what your eating... you ask the waiters and they don't speak any English and seem to be quite ignorant... ok the apartment was ok.. clean and bedding is changed often enough as are the towels... its a shame the food let's this place down otherwise it would be ok... anyway.. I won't be re booking anytime soon...
This picture is the Evita Elite hotel which is accepting holiday-makers overbooked from other Evita hotels (Evita Bay, Evita Resort, Evita Mare). It is not a complete hotel yet. The Evita company are terrible, do not waste your time or money with this chain. There are lots of positive reviews which are confused about which hotel they are actually reviewing, I believe this is on purpose so management can look like they are a fully functioning chain of hotels when actually the Terrible reviews are the most honest. Be very careful when booking with Evita, best to avoid altogether, not worth the risk.
We are here …. Not met anyone that thinks anything is good Dirty , tasteless food , all inclusive stops while staff have lunch breaks or worse …. Continually told no vodka , no sprite …. Shandy’s are good 😂😂 When rooms “cleaned” dirty towels still on floor , sink not touched …. Communal floors etc same hair / dirty cups been there for 4th day now Staff very unhappy moaning. About management Full review and pictures when home Only “good point” comfy bed and pillows …. Pay a bit more or you ll spend a fortune eating out and buying half decent drinks
we have booked for one week in mid june, for all inclusive services. We have arrived quite late in the night and the renovation works were not finished, there was a bad smell of paint allover, empty boxes from AC, etc. We have been told that we cannot serve dinner, but that they shall offer some sandwiches. The room has nothing to do with a 4 stars hotel. It was very small, about 12 sqm, with only a bar to hang our clothes. A small and noisy fridge was laying on the floor. The bathroom was small, with no window or air extractor and no shelf to put our things. Breakfast was poor and insufficient and persons have to que even for the bread. We asked our travel agent to change immediately this hotel, which they did, but we lost one day of our holiday... This was for sure a very bad experience!…
Hi there. The check in was quite quick putting aside the fact that we were three and the room was with one double bed only. The receptionist looked surprised when I asked for another room but quickly put herself together and offered another room with one double bed and a two-level bed. The room was really small and the sewage stank from the outside. Water started to drip from the airconditioning making a small pool on the floor by morning. TV did not work, so cant say what programs they offer, Don't be taken in by *friendly personnel* - they are friendly but not really helping much. Although the hotel positions itself as *smoking free*, smokers were everywhere and this was really disturbing. The food was simple, not delicious but enough not to starve. Everyday there were 3-4 dishes served by the kitchen workers, In the ads to this hotel were used the pictures from Evita Mare and that was quite disappointing. For this price there really can be found a better option, think twice before you go there.…
There is no need to write a long story experience - in few words: - we have exceptional time in the 3-star Evita Beach Hotel mainly cos the staff (namely Miss Poppy and others) were very friendly - superb beach is 2 mins faraway - the place was clean and tidy (a little advice for people who were not 100% satisfied - pay much more and get luxury 5-star hotel) Tom&Nina
Firstly pictures shown on booking were not of this hotel But of Evita Resort very misleading.complaint to ATOL sent. Only good thing was closeness to beach.Rooms basic..children urinating by poolside . entertainment staff only spoke their native tongue as not an English speaking hotel, but Eastern European. Dining staff pleasant and friendly. Won't be back to this hotel unless changes are made.
We booked the Evita based upon the pictures we had seen at time of booking - we arrive and recognise the hotel from the pics only to be told no booking made and after a phone call was notified that we had been booked into the other Evita hotel. You can imagine our disappointment upon arrival. The receptionist was very nice and helpful but that was about it. Rooms clean but very basic. The hotel is run by Czech travel operator so no English guests were there until the last few days of our stay. The staff were quite rude and unhelpful and the food wasn’t great. There was no mention that it was a mainly Czech speaking hotel anywhere at time of booking. Safe to say will not be returning to the Evita.
The Evita beach hotel is not for the British, please be warned as we weren’t. The hotel is Czech Republic orientated. Having read through the reviews which did indicate this, travel Republic should of advised us of this when I booked with them. The odd other British couple had the same reviews and thoughts as we did. The room was basic but cleaned and the towels were daily too. The cleaner was the only person who was polite. The restaurant was a glorified canteen, the cooks were unfriendly as all other staff were, didn’t speak or really understand English so it was hard to communicate. There wasn’t a time where we didn’t have to ask for cutlery, plates or food to brought out. We had to clear our own tables. All drinks day and night had to go in plastic glasses, never seen one glass. The wine wasn’t served at the canteen, you had to go to the pool bar to collect. The food was not labelled, so much of it was unidentifiable, and either warm or cold. Bottled water was stored in bulk but only staff were allowed that, guests had to buy theirs at the supermarket and refill the bottle at the bar area (madness). The animation team were all Czech as were the company that supplied them To this hotel. They did not involve anyone else apart from their own countrymen, speak any other language apart their own, and generally did not speak or participate with any other guests. The pool bar man was uninspiring, not motivated, just going through the motions. The pool area was basic, the pool not cleaned all the 2 weeks we were there. Grease or grime around the tiling of the pool. No pool depths notices around the pool so parents wouldn’t know, what depths they were at, let alone the children. Blokes with glass bottles of vodka sitting around the pool area, with loud music and generally being a pain the more they were drinking with nobody stepping in to tell them. The hotel manager was approachable, when hi-lighting the issues with her she didn't seem too interested, although pool depths signs have set around the pool. She kept banging on about it only being a 3*** hotel and did I expect? All anyone expects is a decent service, feel part of the hotel and meet new people. We will not be coming back to this hotel as you of gathered.…
