My new husband and I arrived late (flight delayed) on our honeymoon and staff had gone to the trouble of putting a cold plate full of yummy delights in our room. The site is alway immaculate! We went half board and the restaurant offers a buffet style breakfast and dinner and it’s always been delicious (this coming from a VERY fussy eater). The staff are so welcoming and so helpful. We went to the private beach a couple of times and had sun-bed service this was also good. The lunch time/pool side menu is very reasonably priced, as are the drinks. Perissa itself is lovely- beautiful beach, quaint little shops, nice bars, restaurants and cafes and not TOO busy like the capital and other well known areas. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and the area.

Truly lovely hotel. Perfect position, as right on sea front. The room 212 we had was just great - looked out onto the pool, but we were also lucky enough to see the sea. A big thank you to Koula on reception for arranging such a beautiful room for us. It had a huge balcony with table/chairs & 2 deck chairs. Had large bedroom with good storage & a lovely bathroom with a fabulous quirky rain shower - loved it........ Was never a problem getting a sun bed around the pool, but be ware, the swimming pool is really cold!!!! We were half board & enjoyed the breakfast & evening meal. Dining was lovely, as you eat outside. A huge thank you to Maria who always served us - her customer service was first class. Quiet & relaxed hotel that is kept spotless. Getting sunbeds on the beach was again never a problem, but the black sand becomes mega hot!!!! The sea is freezing cold................. which was surprising for early September. Santorini is expensive for drinks & meals, so be prepared to spend your euros.......... Would highly recommended this hotel as it is a beautiful & offers quality service. Please note, if you are travelling with Thomas Cook & use their coach for airport transfer, you are dropped off around 350 metres from the hotel!!!!! You have to drag your cases down a bumpy road to get to the hotel..........we were not impressed!!!! On return journey to airport, Koula kindly arranged a taxi, which collected us right outside the hotel.

I’m writing this on my last night of 14 staying at this hotel and unless the roof falls in tonight I honest can’t fault the hotel or the staff, immaculately clean throughout and the staff are amazing. I’d specially like to mention Giannis the beach waiter, the man is a pure gentleman and could not have been more helpful, also Rina our housekeeper who is so lovely and went out of her way to make everything perfect for us, what this woman can do with towels is pure artistry. Every single member of staff is as helpful as you can wish for and I would come back without hesitation. I’ve thought about anything I could slightly moan about and there honestly isn’t anything

We really deliberated over where to stay in Santorini. We were desperate for the Caldera view but didn't want the price tag. We booked aqua blue through Thomas Cook and have not been disappointed. We stayed in room 209 for seven days and it was stunning. We arrived late to a friendly welcome. The hotel was spotless and remained so for our entire stay. We had no issues with smells or staff. The room was immaculate and we found the staff friendly helpful and courteous. Someone was always cleaning! It's a quiet resort, not many kids but a beautiful atmosphere. Right on the beach it's within minutes of fantastic restaurants. We stayed bed and breakfast - breakfast was fine, standard choice, didn't change much over the course of our stay. Very punctual shut down at ten am. Slightly windy but to be honest that was welcome it was so hot. The sunloungers were in good repair and usually reserved by 10. Free Aircon and safe was great. View of the mountains was stunning but we weren't a fan of the black sand! We both had wonderful deep tissue massage a with Ruela who was just brilliant. We booked a transfer to oia which we thought was great value at 20 euros each and would highly recommend. Only slight whinges as with any European holiday is people smoking by the pool. Likewise the volume of plastic the island goes through in bottled water is standard, but out of touch with environmental credentials of Thomas Cook. We booked a late check out and we probably didn't need it as there's showers throughout the main building you can get ready in. They also don't tell you that if you have a late checkout you have to exit your current one at 11.30 and wait till 1pm for the next. Honestly minor gripes and we've had an amazing time. The staff were lovely, Perissa is chilled and away from th tourist hoards and the hotel is skimming and beautifully decorated. Will be back.
