We had the opportunity to travel in June and were able to book well ahead of time at a very good rate given the apparent quality of the facilities and accommodation. We were certainly not disappointed. Everything was just as described. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and modern. Housekeeping was done every day, with clean sheets and towels. The shower was of an excellent quality and the air-con was really efficient. There was a safe for valuables and the fridge and hairdryer were both very useful. The pool area was really well maintained with sun beds, shades and a very reasonably priced bar. The pool was a good size with a jacuzzi feature. Our hosts were very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The villa’s proximity to Perissa made it an ideal base. It was very close to the beach with good links to buses and there were opportunities to rent vehicles for exploring the island further, which we did. Perissa is significantly more affordable than Fira or Oia and has many good restaurants and bars. Highly recommend this accommodation.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Santorini stop your search right now. This is it! I loved this hotel. From the moment we arrived Marina was helpful and friendly. She took us up to our room where we safely did an online "covid friendly" contactless check in. The room was spotless. I actually don't think I have ever seen a cleaner room anywhere. The rooms are sparkling white with cleanliness and whitewashed walls. Theres ice cold A/C which we definitely needed with the humidity and 34C temperatures. The fridge kept our drinks ice cold and we had a large balcony. The bed was comfortable and safe, hairdryer etc were all provided. The pool area was great. Spaced out sunbeams, a jacuzzi area and kiddie section, bar that was open all day and both areas that are shady and others that are in the sun all day. Every part of this hotel was so well maintained and looked after. You can see the love that is put into the family business. Marina was friendly and delightful to chat to. The location is perfect. Theres great parking right outside the hotel. and the beach is a 5 minute walk. There are loads of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk including a couple of 24 hour bakeries where we got our breakfast. Marina gave us these recommendations as well as which supermarket was the cheapest. When travelling in such strange times its reassuring to stay somewhere that is doing all they can to keep their guests safe and happy. This pretty hotel with its olive trees and family of kittens was exactly what we needed. I really hope that I get to return soon. I can't recommend this hotel or staying in Perissa enough.

We stayed here for 3 wonderful nights Sept 2nd till Sep 6th.I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel in my life. The staff were amazing from the moment we checked in to when we left. The rooms are big, bright and decorated beautifully.Bathrooms are lovely, aircon great and balcony is lovely. The bus stop is just around the corner as well as shops, restaurants, bars and bakery. The beach is a 3 minute walk. The pool is big with a jacuzzi, a bar, umbrellas and deckchairs and is spotless clean. Don't hesitate and just book Villa Valvis as we had the most exceptional experience in this lovely family run hotel with a big heart. We hope someday to return and stay longer.

We were booked into villa valvis for a week from 5th October but only stayed 3 nights and that was too many. Where should I start? The bed was too hard & very low, it was noisey people shouting at 2.45 in the morning, the bathroom smelt, no mirror in the bedroom, dog next door barking all night, very busy road outside. Plus side it was very clean. Would not stay again.

Have just returned from an eight night beano with the other half in Perissa having stayed at Villa Valvis. What a lovely place this was - an absolute gem and we’re so disappointed to be back in Blighty. We had a pool side room which was perfect as we could roll out our room first thing and onto a sun lounger and sip a frappe from the pool side bar with the perfect mountain view. The bar is open all day and into the evening so you can have what you fancy any time of day from the friendly guy behind who always greets you with a smile. Every day here was a pleasure and the couple who run it were so friendly and accommodating and happy to help with any question or request imaginable. The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday and the air con was effective too when it became hot outside. Would not have changed a thing about our stay and we’ll certainly be back one day.

The room was clean and the owners were really nice, but we left for the beach at 1:30 and I left my purse in the room thinking that the room wasn’t going to get cleaned that day. We came back and noticed that my purse had been gone through, my change was gone euros, and I had other currency that looked like euros (Canadian $2.00, and a couple British pounds) I probably wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for the other currency because I knew I wasn’t going to spend that. The issue was not the money being stolen, it was the fact that somebody had gone through my purse. Once I noticed I brought it up to the owner, she assured me that it was a long time house keeper and she hasn’t had this problem (No apology). She did mention she would talk to the housekeeper. Nice place to stay, but if your going to stay here make sure your stuff is locked in the safe!
