We had a fantastic 10 night stay at Sellada Beach. Our room (no.3) is fantastic for a family with two separate rooms, a kitchenette and bathroom. The main bonus though is the huge outdoor terrace overlooking the beach and sea. High quality furnishings throughout and the room was always made spotlessly clean by the maid. The owner, his wife and staff are very attentive and friendly and are always happy to help. Breakfast was great and always came with a special something extra from the kitchen! The facilities are very high quality and clean. Cocktails from the bar and food from the kitchen were always very good. There are sun-beds on the beach for use by hotel residents and people making use of the bar/restaurant. There is a shower for cleaning feet etc. when you have finished on the beach. Overall a very good hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Santorini.…
Perfect, clean hotel with great pool, fantastic breakfast, own beach with free sunbeds, free wifi all over the hotel (even on the beach). The family that runs the hotel is super kind and helpful. Food at the restaurant is really great.
Upon arrival, Maria was beyond helpful and professional. Showed us to our beautiful family room with two patios overlooking the ocean. Furniture was comfortable but practical. It was so nice that we kept having to apologize for tracking black sand around the hotel- staff were pleasant and kept that all tidy. Kitchen was dated and the hot plate was a bit of a disappointment, but we did cook one meal in. Breakfast had a decent variety including fresh fruit. We splurged and spent the money for the ocean-view room. I wish it didn't overlook the bar which I'm sure could be rowdy at times, but we visited at the end of the season and loved it. The pool seemed nice, but we went in October and it seemed colder than even the ocean.
I usually don't write reviews but I had to this time, not only because this place is very nice (rooms kind of small though) but what makes the place is the staff. from the moment you check in Kostas is wonderful but his wife Maria is the BEST ! The food is excellent, the location even though far from the city is perfect... I am going back next year in the summer because Santorini is the most beautiful island I have ever seen and because I want my son Lucas to experience my stay at this beautiful place !!! If you guys are reading the review I promised I will come back and I will ... love, Alejandra from Miami Florida
We returned last Saturday after a wonderful stay at the Sellada Beach Hotel. I actually came back with a suntan which is unlike me as I tend to keep out of the sun. The weather was fantastic, the beach was literally 3 steps from the hotel, great free sun beds with comfy foam bases and a parasol. Of the 8 days we were there we spent 6 days on the beach which also has free WiFi. Drinks and food can be ordered and brought to you at the beach as there is also a table, and Costas one of the waiters makes several trips in the hour to serve. There is no hard sell he is there if you need him. The hotel itself has a modern front and bar area, the rooms are roomy, comfy and very clean. The staff are attentive and by the time you leave you feel you have known them all your life. Now I must mention the star of the show Maria she is very proud of her business and this is best seen through her cooking and that of her staff. The breakfast is typical continental with a Greek theme good variety and plenty of it, on top of this is the bonus of Maria’s home cooked pastry’s, they are to die for We will definitely be returning to this treasure of Perissa Thank you Mr & Mrs Sweeny …
