What a wonderful little place. Only 16 rooms in total, if you are looking for somewhere brash and noisy this is NOT for you. Has a family run feel from room to Greek style breakfast. Staff are happy to advise or book excursions for you. Rooms are very comfortable with all the basics you need including a mini bar fridge. All rooms have their own seating area to the front. Ground floor is more shaded and only one has a plunge pool. Upstairs most rooms have their own sun loungers and plunge pools. The hotel has its own small pool with sunbeds and umbrella's, a bar is situated next to it. On the roof of the bar is a sundeck with a plunge pool and sun loungers. From the front door it is a 2 minute walk to either the main street or the black beach. Both are full of good Tavernas or restaurants. Welcome to Perissa.

A lovely quirky place to stay which we would highly recommend and certainly visit again. Athena was absolutely fantastic, friendly and helpful. She is a credit to Meltemi Luxury Suites. The luxury suites are well situated close to the seafront with a good choice of bars and restaurants. The rooms, pools area and pool were cleaned everyday and spotless. The choice of breakfast was also good.

We had a lovely weeks stay at The Meltemi Suites in Perissa. It is a small, friendly hotel which is extremely well run by the lovely Athina who is very attentive to all guests and her home made Greek offerings are a wonderful touch and very well appreciated. She is a real credit to the hotel as are all the staff who keep the place running so well. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others and we hope to return ourselves in the future.

This was our second stay at Meltemi Suites - the first being in 2019 before covid. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. There was even a bottle of Prosecco awaiting us in our room with a personalised note! We stayed in room 15 which was a studio and in our opinion the best room there. It had its own outdoor jacuzzi, sun loungers on the large balcony and a table and chairs where we enjoyed breakfast etc. Athena is the perfect hostess. She is so warm and welcoming, she helped us with car hire, places to visit on the island, restaurant recommendations etc. We had booked our Wedding Blessing at Santo Winery and Athena helped us with booking transport there and back on the day. When we returned to our room afterwards she had gone to the trouble of making it super special with decorations, flowers, a bottle of Prosecco etc. So thoughtful! The rooms are spotless which is due to the fantastic housekeeping staff who are very friendly too. Breakfast can be taken in the small dining room, outside by the pool or if you want, there are trays provided if you want to take it to your room. There is a good variety from hot food to pastries, salad, cheese and meats. We love this place so much and have booked our return visit for next year already!

Myself and my partner booked a last minute deal to the Meltemi Suites through Tui in August 21. We have never stayed in a hotel with better hospitality before - and we have travelled around the world and travelled a lot. Nothing was too much trouble . Some people on here are moaning about having to fill out a form which included what you would like for breakfast the next day . Really not unreasonable given at this time in the UK there were no buffets either ( the week before we had stayed in the 5 star hotel Kimpton in Manchester and had to order what we wanted and not go to the buffet ). Anyway , whenever we wanted to go somewhere Athena would organise us a transfer - she booked us into restaurants and bars and spoke to her friend to squeeze us into a bar that was full for a sunset view . Anna couldn’t do more for us - amazing hospitality and service . Zacheroule made wonderful breakfasts working hard to ensure we got what we wanted and Vasilis even brought breakfast to our balcony on more than one occasion. This resort is not as luxurious as some in Perissa , however , we would always return here because it has an amazing chilled vibe and the best customer service we have experienced on our travels . If you guys who work at the hotel are reading this thanks so much for making our stay so special . Rachael and Steph xx

We stayed for two weeks in room 13 which is upstairs with a small “cold tub” on the balcony area, which was refreshing on those hot days! Our room was large with four poster bed, sitting area, very basic kitchen amenities and bathroom with shower over the small bath. Athena is a lovely host, who really goes that extra mile for her guests. Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of options though the hot food could be a bit of a lottery. Food was lovely, you just didn’t always get what you asked for! The omelettes were excellent. In terms of location it’s really good, on a side street minutes away from the beach and the main road. Most of the hotel is well maintained but some elements of the rooms were showing wear and tear and needed upgrading. Don’t be put off though. I would recommend the hotel but only if you have a room on first floor.

After over 18 months without a holiday, we were so glad to finaly be away. And we could not of asked for a more peaceful place to rest. We were greated warmly from the second we arrived. After the check in we were taken to our suite with whirlpool. We were shown around the complex and explained about breakfast. Breakfast was a cold buffet with hot options and a time slot booked on check in. Everyday the hot options were served fresh and on time. Could not fault the selection and safety of wearing masks and gloves whilst obtaining cold food and drinks. The pool area is so peaceful and never busy, their was a pool bar serving drinks all day and early evening. The location is spot on less than 5 mins to the beach and same to the main road. The lady that ran the hotel was always on hand to answer questions and lend you a big knife to carve the local bread! She genuialy cared that you had everything and were enjoying your stay. And was on hand to help print off plf forms and boarding passes! This is exactly what it says cute, small, local greek feel with no entertainment and a lovely adult only relaxing atmosphere. Will return again!!

My wife and I arrived at this Fawlty Towers hotel on 2nd September for two week and we were looking forward to it so much having booked it in 2019. On arrival we were met by Athena, the hotel manager, we filled in all necessary paperwork and was handed a pro-forma to log down what we would like for breakfast as the buffet had been suspended due to COVID, oh how many times we heard the excuse at this hotel, oh it's due to covid. Anyway off we trot to our room which was basic but ok. The aircon sounded like a turbo on a jet and only one of the two almost useless lights in the bathroom didn't work. I reported these faults and they were fixed. For a hotel that's only been open 6 weeks it's a poor do when you have to report these kind of faults in what is supposed to be a four star luxury suite. First morning we booked breakfast for 9:15am and went down and sat at a table and talked to other guests, at 09:50am we still didn't even have a drink, I got up and politely ask the waiter, Vasilis, if he had forgotten about us, well he launched into a tirade about been on his own and been busy and began to raise his voice and wag his finger at Pam who instantly told him to desist. This was not a welcome start to a long awaited holiday. If you give me a sheet of paper that asks what time I want my breakfast and I'm there on time then I expect it then. Some days we went down and it was cold, cold coffee, cold bacon, just bloody cold, got sick of sending food back. The service from this obnoxious man was so poor and complaints so rife from us and other guests that he was fired on day 9, bit late really, should of gone on day 2. The new breakfast staff were no better at getting there act together but at least they were pleasant and did try, even on our last day we ordered just toast and bacon, we arrived on time like good little school children and yes you've guessed, all cold. Now the bedroom wasn't to bad apart from the usual, no where to put anything so lived out of my case. Room cleaning was erratic and night attire was just thrown on the side when we returned each day apart from on two occasions, the toilet bin hadn't been emptied one day and we had been out 12 hours so I went to reception and told them it hadn't been emptied, I was asked if I wanted it doing, damned right I did. I later found out that Vasili stated that he had emptied it and we must have refilled it inside five mins of our return. So Vasili was a bully and a liar, good job he went. The bathroom. Small, dimly lit, shower ran hot and cold, very small room, towel rack at ridiculously high height on the wall, I'm 5 foot 10 and struggled to reach the towel rack. no mat for the bath, shower so low when put at full height I had to crouch underneath it, no shower curtain so bathroom got soaked, had to move toilet rolls prior to having a shower. Shabby low quality towels and bedding. Nice terrace with private whirlpool which was freezing, no shade from the sun. When I go to a hotel that is described as luxury, that's what I expect. This was four star, I didn't expect a spa or gym, but I did expect good service and accommodation. Sadly this hotel was lacking in all area, perhaps a change of staff and management would improve the place along with a revamp of the rooms to bring them up to at least Premier Inn standard. On a brighter note Anna was the one exception and shining light in a poorly run property. On a disturbing note, having had my phone off on the flight home the last thing I would expect when I turn it back on would be a friend request fron hotel staff. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

It is what it is small and friendly , our room was ok but could do with more tlc but we managed , athena the manager was an absolute superstar nothing was too much trouble, and anna and the rest of the staff were equally as accommodating, only quarm was the breakfast ordering instead of the buffet style it was quite confusing but overall we enjoyed our stay .

We have just returned from the meltemi suites and had a lovely relaxing break. The rooms are kept clean as they are cleaned everyday. The bathroom and small kitchenette are outdated and they in need of an upgrade, this will make such a difference to the comfort of these rooms. We stayed in a suite, number 11, with a whirlpool which was lovely to chill out in. The grounds are very pretty and well kept. The pool area is very quiet and is deserted most of the time, there is not much ambiance and no snacks are served In the day but you can get a cold beer or a coffee, so maybe people head out to the beach each day, which is a 5 min walk away. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, very tasty fresh omelettes and croissants with jam. The breakfast ordering is a bit confusing, as you have to complete a sheet the day before to say what you would like, but it’s a bit hit and miss as to what turns up. My husband asked for bacon and only got this once out of our seven days. But what we did get was fresh and tasty. Athena and all the other staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Athena arranged for a surprise bottle of Prosecco in our room for my husbands birthday, this was a nice surprise. We enjoyed our stay here and were made to feel very welcome.
