Just returned from an 7 amazing night stay in the honeymoon suite (me and my mum, very romantic 😂 - should add that it has a king size and two single sofa beds)! Such a beautiful hotel and the suite was really lovely and spacious with a fab outdoor whirlpool/plunge pool and seating area. The hotel grounds are immaculate with beautiful trees, flowers and gorgeous bougainvillea. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful and it all felt very safe with lots of hand sanitiser around the hotel and staff wearing masks. Great location in Perissa, close to the bus stop and several bars and restaurants. Easy to book taxis from reception. Lunch at the pool bar was great value and very tasty, served in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was the only negative (queuing for over an hour) but that’s through no fault of their own and due to current COVID situation - hopefully they’ll find a more efficient way of serving breakfast (prebooking or waiter service) in the coming days/weeks. All in all, a really memorable stay and definitely hope to return one day soon!

Firstly, if I had booked to come to Perissa well in advance, I may not have chosen this Hotel and opted for something a little closer to the beach. Having said that it was only a 6 minute walk to the beach from here and the Hotel had a very chilled vibe. The Hotel is located on the main road down to Perissa Beach but there was no noise, to interfere with your relaxation around the pool and the public bus stops right outside. The entrance was beautiful with flowering climbers, reception was light and airy and kept lovely and clean with places to sit around and relax should you have to wait around out of the sun. The check-in was efficient and the staff were very professional and helpful. We were then shown to our accommodation, which was the 1st floor apartment of a complex about 2 minute walk on the other side of the Meltemi Excelsior Suites and Spa. The apartment was big and could sleep 5, a double and single downstairs with a stunning double upstairs with arched ceiling. The decor was traditional rustic but beautiful with plenty of facilities. The Bathroom was basic with a small shower but functional as was the kitchen. It had a lovely balcony which overlooks a pool although the chairs were now starting to look tired. The Air conditioning worked well which is a must and it had a fridge, also a must. The Hotel had a lovely large pool with very comfortable loungers with straw covered parasols to give you shade surrounded by palm trees and flowers that added to the relaxation. Also tables and chairs which is where we ate our breakfast in the morning. It has a bar next to the pool for food and drink and the barman was very chatty and polite. There have been a few mixed reviews on the Breakfast but I thought it had a good selection of hot or cold food and we were very happy with it.
In summing up we were very happy with the Hotel, the staff were lovely, the surroundings beautiful and very clean and we would return. If we were staying longer I would upgrade to a suite though.

This hotel welcomes you from the minute you are there and helps with any questions you have. They have planned carefully, and executed well their Covid - 19 protection systems and mask use and hand sanitiser provision are well done. Everywhere is very clean but it still feels like a normal holiday. Well done to all the staff. We would call out Andrei (who shows endless patience with the socially distanced breakfast queue) and Bogdan his brother who always gives good service. Like everyone else its hard not to call out Roy who is a star at reception. Tips from our stay : worth paying extra for the superior rooms or suites. The standard room was great for our teenagers but the bathroom probably too small and old fashioned for an adult couple.

As a family we have visited Meltemi Village Hotel and the Excelsior Suites (through Tui but part of the Village complex) three times.

This year we went as a couple and stayed in room 54; a junior suite with whirlpool. This was our favourite so far; also a great deal cheaper than going through Tui as we booked direct and the hotel arranged our airport transfers in a superb air conditioned executive taxi.

On arrival, having received the most wonderful welcome from Roy (an absolute asset to the hotel), we were taken to our suite and shown around. We were blown away by the room and whirlpool (cleaned every day) complete with comfortable sunbeds and, to our delight, had been left a complimentary bottle of wine as returning guests.

The room has it’s own fridge so you can pop to the supermarket next door for water, alcohol etc. As the sun is on the patio area for the majority of the day we would visit the Santa Irini Bakery (a must) to buy lunch and eat by our pool and stay there for the rest of the afternoon. A small table and chairs would have been a lovely addition to use for lunch or drinks before going out on an evening.

Breakfast was a simple but tasty buffet, with a good choice of tea and coffee, which we’d eat outside by the pool.

This hotel is situated perfectly for the beach and all the restaurants and bars Perissa has to offer. We also walked into Perivolos (about 25 minutes) where you’ll find more bars/restaurants/beach clubs.

I cannot recommend this hotel and their amazing staff enough. I’m sure🤞we’ll return again.

Be careful when you book “Double Room” as most of photos published on major booking sites are from Suites. Of course I didn’t expect to have a luxury room for that price but I was horrified when I checked in. The state of standard double room was 2 star or lower level from my opinion. The room was very small room(not enough space to open the suits case) and extremely old/small bathroom with broken parts, even too small for a single person. Thankfully I was able to upgrade the room with extra cost . All hotel staff were very nice and friendly, this was 5 star! The breakfast time was reduced to 8-10am instead of 8-11. The quality was quite basic, you can ask waiters cappuccino or espresso if you don’t like filter coffee without extra charge. The swimming pool was lovely but no shower which I found strange. The drink prices at the pool bar is quite decent, that was a very good point. The room cleaning is every 2days which I was more than happy for environmental reasons. The locations are also good, Perissa is lower key and still have good places to ear or drinks, next to supermarkets, bus stop, car rentals. We rented a motor bike and it was less than 20mins to Fira.

This is a well situated hotel with bars and restaurants around it. The beach is about six minutes walk away. We had a newly refurbished superior room overlooking the pool. It included air conditioning, safe, Wi-Fi, fridge, and a kettle and cups that were requested. There was a good sized bed in the room which enabled a good nights sleep. The room was serviced daily with the sheets and towels changed every two or three days. The breakfast was 8 -10am, there was English breakfast and continental breakfast on offer, choose what ever you want. The pool is nice with a day time snack bar for the guests to use. There is also a main bar on the front. The prices are also very competitive with other similar establishments. All the staff were friendly helpful and obliging.

An excellent boutique hotel, 5 minutes walk from Perissa Beach and well located for exploring the island.

We spent 5 nights here in Sept 2021. The hotel is more like boutique apartments and it is beautifully designed and maintained.

We were able to park our hotel in the car park over the road (for free).

Check is was super easy (we booked via Expedia) and the hotel were very responsive on email when we had some queries in advance of our arrival. All of the staff (and there were always loads on duty to help with anything) were extremely attentive. ‘Roy’ in reception was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable of the island and restaurants, things to do etc.

All of the staff were covid aware and covid measures were excellent. Masks and gloves at breakfast (when using the buffet) and then food can be taken to anywhere outside around the pool and enjoyed without any restriction. Masks etc were always worn in reception by staff and guests.

Our room was a junior suite with a private whirlpool. The ‘whirl’ didn’t work hit the pool was lovely although sadly was never in the sunshine (probably due to the time of year). The main hotel pools were excellent and we particularly enjoyed the more peaceful smaller pool.

I tried to research the gym facilities before we arrived and wish I’d taken a photo for future travellers. There is a small gym on lower ground floor for use by residents. It is open 8-8 and has to be booked in advance (due to covid and it being a small space). There is a treadmill, some free weights / dumbbells etc. Everything is functional however is is definitely a room with some gym equipment in rather than a gym. I wanted to use it at 9:30pm but then found out about the booking and hours of use.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini. Perissa was an excellent base for our adventures and we really enjoyed our stay. If you are eating out locally then ‘Acropolis’ was our favourite restaurant along Perissa beach and was a recommendation from hotel staff.

Thank you to the staff at the hotel who made our stay so enjoyable and for all of your hard work to keep us all safe during this awful pandemic.

First visit to Santorini so really didn’t know what to expect of it as a place.

Firstly I would like to thank the staff at the hotel, they were all professional, extremely knowledgeable about the area and very helpful.

We had a suite which was perfect for us a family, our daughter got her own room with a huge bed which she was thrilled about. The size of the accommodation was spot on, two decent bedrooms, a nice sitting area and the balcony was spot on with a plunge pool (which was great as we found it difficult to get around the pool but in all honesty I preferred it as we had privacy and our 3 year old could swim and splash about without annoying people)

The cleanliness of the room was good, the staff came in every day to clean, change towels and they would change bedding if you wanted. We also had someone come to the pool everyday.

In terms of breakfast, we had seen some negative reviews before we travelled but I have to be honest it was spot on from our point of view, my wife and I don’t eat meat but we’re not left wanting , there was plenty of choice and certain things are rotated, all in all I couldn’t find any fault with it. In particular the tomato balls were good.

The staff around the dining/bar area were very good, helpful and approachable, they made a fuss of my daughter which was nice and she even got free ice cream, they even helped me stop a cat from killing a dove so my daughter didn’t see it (she was very upset).

Located next door is a shop that has everything you would need to keep you going and priced similar to other stores in perissa.

It’s not a long walk to the beach either, maybe 7-10 minutes depending on how quick you walk and there are several restaurants located nearby (we used a couple of them).

I would also recommend checking the tours out with the information that will be given on arrival, we did the volcano tour and cruise and the archeological tour, both really good. (They only accept cash though but it’s not problem as there is an ATM located just outside of the hotel)

The general grounds of the hotel are kept clean at all times and are pleasing on the eye.

All in all a great stay, it’s was exceptionally hot (43 on my brothers wedding day in a 3 piece suit :)) and if we return to santorini I would 100% stay here again if we stayed in perissa.

We have just returned from 6 nights at the Meltemi Village Hotel and can only say what a nice small hotel this is.

They are taking covid very seriously and all staff were wearing masks. There is sanitiser dotted around the hotel for guests.

The rooms were modern and very clean. The breakfast was very nice. There is no self service due to covid but the man in charge was extremely friendly and would help you to anything you wanted and was more than happy for you to come back for seconds or thirds !!

The location is good , despite being on the main road it was quiet and peaceful around the pool. My reason for knocking one start off was that the pool in October was sooo cold ! Im sure its fine in July/ August but was far too cold for me this late in the season. Despite this there were people who were happy to swim !

Would recommend this hotel.
