My husband and I have been to Perissa several times, and we always keep coming back to Stelios Place! Stelios and his family are fantastic hosts, always available to help with directions, ordering a cab, advice about the island and everything in between. They are always there to greet the guests in the morning and help with anything you need - definitely making you feel like one of the family! The property is a 1-minute walk to the beach, and only a few minutes to the beach bars and restaurants. It’s set back far enough that you don’t hear any of the quad bikes being driven up and down the main roads. There’s also a bakery about 3-4 mins up the main road - perfect for getting breakfast or a takeaway sandwich. We stayed in a superior double room. The room was spotless, and perfectly sized for 2 people, with plenty of space to set up luggage and to unpack clothes for a longer stay. Good-sized fridge as well for keeping water (and wine) nice and cold. I also loved the big shower and lots of vanity space. Daily housekeeping meant we had fresh towels and a clean room to come back to every afternoon. All of the rooms on our side had little balconies overlooking the pool - great place to enjoy a drink before heading out for the evening. We will definitely be coming back to Stelios Place the next time we’re in Perissa!!…
A+. The price was soooo reasonable compared to everything else. I thought hostel- no way, but then when I got here- it is soooo much nicer than most hotels in the whole world. A+++! Around the corner is the beach and so so many restaurants. Little shops and bars. Outside pool. And the VERY VERY nice family that owns the place that is there to greet you and for your every week. Thank you. A+. Good sized rooms- older shower, a lock safe in the room. but it’s all there and everything that you need. Highly recommended! We did 2 nights here then one night in Oia before heading for 2 nights in Mykonos followed by 3 in Athens
Once again Katerina, Stelios, Eva and Voula went out of their way to put their clients first and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Travelling at this time, where rules and restrictions are constantly changing can be a challenge. On arrival we were met by Stelios outside the lovely new airport. Air conditioned and clean toilets were a welcome change from our previous experiences! On arrival we were shown to our room which as always was spotlessly clean. Remotes for tv and a/c in plastic for cleanliness but on the surface everything looked ‘normal’. Unfortunately due to restrictions in restaurants in Greece Stelios is not serving breakfast or drinks at this time. We were however provided with enough tea bags, coffee and milk for our stay. There is a large fridge in the room and with plenty of local shops to stock up on lunch items and drinks if required this isn’t a problem. The room was cleaned regularly and always to an excellent standard. The pool area, kitchen and public WC’s also always spotless. Sun beds are less available than in previous years, but with a 2 min walk and a large selection of sun beds on the beach to choose from this wasn’t an issue at all. Katerina assisted us in booking our PCR tests locally, which was very easy. A taxi ride there, €30 for the test and a 3km walk home and it was done. She also arranged a taxi for us to move on to our next accommodation. Just to say we only moved as Stelios was full for our last 2 nights stay, otherwise we would have happily stayed! Thanks again to all the family for a wonderful stay. We will be back soon!…
We found this little piece of paradise as our usual hotel didn't open this year. A small but perfectly formed, family-run hotel in a prime location in Perissa. Down a little side road meaning it's a quiet spot, but only 2 minute walk to the beach front and access to all of the main restaurants and shops. Stelios himself picked us up from the airport (transfers offered with stays over a week) and we immediately felt at ease with him, chatting all the way back. Our triple room was all we could have asked for, spacious and clean, with a fridge for the wine and a beautiful wrap-around balcony with lovely views over the mountain or pool. And that pool is lush and set beautifully by the terrace and plants (also carefully guarded by Milo the terrier); it also has a jacuzzi function (although not in use due to Covid restrictions). Again, due to the these restrictions, we couldn't have breakfast or pool-side drinks but if the standard of everything else is to go by am sure they would be wonderful too. The family couldn't be more helpful and would definitely stay with them again, as do many other people we met who have been repeat visitors for years. We look forward to seeing you soon :-)…
Although we have been to Perissa many times it was our first stay at Stelios Place. This is a terrific hotel run by a wonderful, friendly family who could not do enough to help us. It is very close to the centre of Perissa and 5 minutes from the beach. It has lovely modern rooms and a beautiful pool and terrace area. I would happily stay here again and can’t recommend it highly enough.
