A small, nice hotel located in Perissa, under the mountain, which are breathtaking! It has a very nice renovated outdoor and swimming pool and the breakfast, along with the staff, are very good and friendly. Rooms are simple but large enough. Just a suggestion for renovating the rooms and the bathrooms.
What a great little hotel. It has a fantastic pool which most people don't use so most days we had it to ourselves (really deep too) The rooms are big, basic, with really comfortable beds. Good pressure in the shower. It's so quiet at night it's wonderful. The main beach, bars, taverns are a 10 walk down the hill. Breakfast is adequate. Bus service is really good, very frequent if you don't have a car. The mountains are spectacular on the left of the hotel. Overall lovely place.
We weren't expecting a 5star holiday or hotel because of the competitive price, but the bones a good hotel and location are there should the owners want to develop it. The location is a 10 min walk from the main beach road that has everything and stretches for quite a distance. You will easily get your 10,000 steps in ! The hotel is quite basic, very clean and well maintained. Westarted in room 6 which was borderline acceptable - in fact we asked to change and moved to room 7 the following day - the difference made the holiday a success. As others have said, towels changed daily and room given refresh - that's all that was needed. The breakfast was a simple presentation, two types of bread, a small choice of cereal, yoghurt & tinned fruits, cold sliced meat and the infamous sliced plastic cheese, boiled and fried eggs, small sausages and baked beans - teas, coffee & juice. All acceptable and fine. The pool was pretty good and there were plenty of spaces for sunbeds etc. The bar opened at 12.00 till 6.00 and then from 8.30 to whenever. No issues, good service when you went to the bar. The mainstay for us was Tracey on reception who is very knowledgeable, professional and an easy communicator. All of the other staff were not really easy to communicate with - probably because Tracey is the default go to person. The beds are hard and this is my only gripe - but hey, we didn't pay for 5 stars so suck it up and get on with it. Bedding was clean and changed regularly, so there you go. We had a really great time in Perissa and the whole island to be honest. We didn't spend much time in the hotel because it wasn't that type of holiday or resort, so for the price that we paid, we have no complaints- other than hard beds ! And yes, we would stay in the area and this hotel again - just not room 6 !…
hotel is in a great location with lovely owners ,pool area great and the girl on the bar very helpful and friendly.breakfast fine they offer a free transfer to the coop which is worth doing to stock drinks coke only 1 Euro 10 for 2 small bottles and other items cheap.they also offer transfers at a charge which is handy.i emailed for a sea view on top floor before arriving they said they would try to accommodate us.on arrival we were told there were no top floor sea views and I should of e -mailed they took us to room 15 i was quite disappointed not that I am in the room much but it was dark and gloomy with 2 broken stools on balcony .towels changed daily, beds made daily would stay again if I had a different room as the others looked much better.
We have just returned from this lovely little hotel. Yes - there is no denying that this is no 5 star hotel BUT we, who usually do stay at 4/5 star hotels around the world, thought that it was absolutely lovely. Rustic, traditional Greece was what we wanted and that is what we got. Breakfast was absolutely fine. We weren't expecting eggs, small sausages, baked beans etc so that was an added bonus. The pool area is immaculate and plenty of space around it. The staff at this hotel cannot do enough for you. Thank for making our stay in Santorini so enjoyable.
