On the surface this place looks ok … but delve a little deeper … most ground floor pool view rooms are public goldfish bowls … everything can be seen … neighbours and everyone in the pool area. Zero privacy. Self catering room was dirty and ‘kitchen’ area and fridge and kitchen utensils and crockery and bathroom and toilet. S/c is very basic. Sheets do not fit beds. Rooms ‘cleaned’ in 4/5 minutes daily. Not recommended.
This was the start of a special holiday and was so let down by the dirty room. The bed sheets didn't cover mattress. Dirty hand prints on door and items for self catering really dirty. I had to clean the outdoor table on arrival. But the pool area was amazing.
This lovely hotel is in an ideal spot at the foot of the mountain between Perissa and Kamari. It's a five minute walk from the beach and the bus stop - so a great location all round. The hotel is run by the same family who have had it since 1980 and apart from the photos of the fantastic pool area, is the reason I chose it for my trip. Being a solo traveler sometimes you do worry about where you are going to end up but I couldn't have felt safer or more welcome than here. The breakfast choice is superb! Continental, cooked, breads, fruit a great and very tasty variety and every time you walk through the door you are greeted by a big smile from Tracey - who is a great help and will sort out any tours you need to book or any info you need to get the most out of your holiday. I was picked up from the airport in the hotels bus and taken back on my way home in the Discovery. Starting and ending my holiday in style. I highly recommend The Marianna Hotel.…
We were in one of the refurbished rooms with a mountain view so it felt private on the balcony. Fabulous pool area with plenty of sun loungers. We’ve stayed in Perissa many times but this felt a bit more special than a basic Greek room so thumbs up. Staff were lovely. 5 minutes walk to the beach and the centre. Loved it thank you for our great stay.
Beautiful Hotel. Beautiful pool. Easy walk to bus, beach. Near the trail to hike up to the chapel. Manager (Mrs. Brown) and staff were wonderful. Great breakfast. Knowledgeable and helpful with excursions.
I have just returned from a week in this lovely hotel where I spent the week on a holiday held over with Olympic from July 2020. I'd researched thoroughly, as although I have been to at least 15 different Greek islands, I gave never been to a Cycladic one and knew that Santorini is a very busy destination. I was very pleased with my choice; let's be clear, I haven't given it five stars as it is 'posh' ( far from it) I have based it on value for money. It is simple accommodation. My room (14) was spacious, with excellent air con and safe (included) and was meticulously cleaned, bins emptied, bedding and towels changed. Is it 'smart' and all colour co-ordinated? No, but it was in my price range and I am more than happy with the value for money it represented. The pool area is superb, a great pool and no problem ever getting a sunbed. Stunning views of the church in the mountain and out to sea. Really well located and a short walk to the beach which I loved. Great bus stop to get you in to Thira. Loved it and would recommend. Nice mix of nationalities and Tracey on reception was very helpful.…
We went on holiday to Perissa Santorini and stayed at the Marianna Hotel apartments. The apartments were spacious and clean pool area clean and plenty of sunbeds. Tracey Brown manager on reception spoke English and was extremely helpful and attentive to your needs I would recommend to anyone staying there and because of where it is situated you can get a free pick up and drop off from the big supermarket .The only thing I would suggest they need in the apts is a toaster and a small microwave everything else is great
Oh my word this place is spotless!!! I cannot find a fault at all - you could eat your dinner off of every surface The welcome was spot on . The room was immaculate with a amazing bed and laundry- bright white fluffy towels lovely shower gels and just perfect in every way Breakfast was amazing with the loveliest fresh bread I’ve ever had .. pool and surrounding area spotlessly clean and a nice area to relax in We cannot fault this place at all … it’s immaculate and I would highly recommend this family run hotel 🏨 5*
