My boyfriend and me stayed for a week in Villa vergina and it was really amazing. Everything was perfect, the location is just one minute away from the beach and the restaurants.
The Villa is a very beautiful white greek style with a very good swimming pool. The room was also very good and clean, with a fridge, tv, extra pillows and hairdryer. Wifi connexion was good everywhere in the villa and room. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of food !
But the best was Voula, she was very kind, informative, helpful and we laughed so much with her. She really cares that everything is good. We were very sad to leave, if i ever come back to Santorini i will stay again here.

My husband and I stayed here in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. We could not go in 2020 due to the pandemic but we have booked again to return on 2nd July 2021 and 2022. Voula always made our stays special and treated us like VIPs. We cant wait to return. The rooms and outside spaces are kept beautifully clean and we would not stay anywhere else.

This was my first trip to Santorini and every aspect of the adventure blew away my expectations. My stay at the picturesque Villa Vergina was a real treat. I will certainly recommend the hotel to all my friends and contacts. Less than, 20 steps to a peaceful pool and 40 steps to the black sand beach of Parissa. Countless restaurtant and bars to choose from, all with deliscious eats and a wonderfully inviting vibe. The studio rooms at Villa Vergina were exceptionally clean and comfortable, with all the amenities that I required, including stable wifi and a sizable mini frig. The hospitality was generous, gracious and eager. I cannot wait to return again, and again!

PROS:

Just one small walkway away from the black sand beach in Perissa (about 30 seconds away).

Clean rooms.

The property is pretty.

It has a pool.

Price is good.

Owner was friendly and helpful.

CONS:

The pool is FREEZING.

The rooms are very noisy, my wife couldn't sleep because of noise from guests around us.

At times the owner is away, and the other woman who is left in charge can be a bit brusque.

You catch a raw sewage smell wafting through the rooms not infrequently, coming from the sink. It is literally gagging. Apparently all of Santorini has sewage issues. You can not flush toilet paper down the toilet in hotels, you put it in a separate trash can we labeled "the poo bucket". Oddly, I don't believe the sewage smell was related to that, though.

The bathrooms have a quirky Flintstones/Luke Skywalker's uncle's house look to them.

We wouldn't stay here again, mainly because of the noise and the smell. If you do give it a try, the closest road to the hotel is the one that borders the beach. You park along the beach, then walk to the hotel. It's a small cobblestone path beside the restaurant RaMaya.

You can drive to Fira in about 15-20 minutes, Oia in about 45 (would be faster if there was no traffic, but there is always traffic on the narrow roads). Kamari beach looks right nearby on the map (as does Ancient Thera), but you literally have to drive around an entire mountain to reach them. It takes 25 or so minutes to get to Kamari, it's actually farther than Fira.

I needed a little piece and quiet, which was found here. The rooms are very simple, but I wasn't spending too much time there. The hotel staff were great- very helpful in making a number of suggestions and arranging tours etc. breakfast was simple and easy, which was included in my package. It was a little tricky to find the hotel as it's down an alley (lit at night). I'd go back again.

We've stayed there for a week and it felt like home. The girl on the reception is always helpful and trying to answer all the questions we had. Very clean and neat place, only 20 m from the beach and on the beach road. Quiet and surrounded with trees. Close the the main locations, bars and restaurants.

We got dropped off outside a bar and was told by the rep that our apartments was a 15 min walkaway . if it had been stated in the read up of the accomdation i would not have booked this accomodation. walking in high tempttures when one had been up since 3am is not a good start to the holiday.

I found the apartments very tired looking and rust was evident in the bathroom and on the door hinges. for what i paid i felt this was extreamly over priced.
the bar is not used you have to ask reception if you want a drink.
there are no umbrellas to shade you from the sun.
the stairs in the apartment were lose and my daughter lost her footing on a lose step.
crockery and cutlery are thin on the ground.
pillows like rocks.
upside it is a stone throw from the beach, but watch out, try to find a beach which lets you have a sun lounger for free as longs as you eat in their cafes. some charged up to 50 euros for sun beds.

Booked this hotel, it has had a recent name change not sure why? Rooms are ok, I would class as average budget rooms. When we arrived the room hadn't been cleaned properly, food still left from previous occupants and general cleanliness was low. There was a constant smell coming up from the drain in the bathroom which was very unpleasant. If you are looking for wifi, it simply does not work, you will have to sit next to the door to the reception and if your lucky you may get a brief connection, if you need wifi during your holiday, its not in the rooms and poor if obtainable anywhere else.

Just had a cheeky week in perissa and stayed here. Lovely clean smart wee hotel perfectly situated yards away from the beach and a load of excellent bars and restaurants. Yes it does have a backpacker hotel right next door but was never over noisy. Whilst we were there the manager
guy actually took the sign down because they were changing the name to Athena villas or something like that. Staff were lovely. Lovely place and perfect for a nice Greek holiday.
