We have just got to the airport after an amazing week in Santorini staying at Ersi Villas. Elias booked a taxi for us to get to the hotel and waited up for us as we arrived at midnight. In the morning he gave us really useful information on the area, gave us a map and a bus timetable and answered any questions we had. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always at the end of the phone if we needed him. Our room was spotlessly clean every day and had a sea view and a balcony with table and chairs. We spent many afternoons relaxing on the sunbeds around the pool which had views of the sea. In the evening we walked to Fira ( 10 minute walk ) where there was a bus station and lots of restaurants and bars. Firastefani is a quieter area which is a 5 minute walk. We loved both areas. On our last day he drove us to the bus station so we didn’t have to carry our luggage down the road. I will be recommending Ersi Villas to everyone I know going to Santorini and will definitely go back one day and stay here.…
We stayed in Ersi Villas for 5 nights at the end of June 2022. On arrival the manager Elias brought us to his office and gave us really useful information on the area and practical information on local trips and how to get around the island. Our room had a sea view and a beautiful little ground floor terrace with table and chairs. Inside the room was spotless and had a kettle, fridge, glasses and cups etc. The outside area of the villa was gorgeous with pot plants and flowers everywhere and small tables and chairs to sit on, this all added to the relaxed ambience. The pool area was very clean and had sun beds which had really comfortable cushions. The location of the villa was perfect with Firostefani and Fira both a short walk away- there are some steps to navigate upwards but unfortunately this is the nature of Small Santorini villages, the amazing views and pretty whitewashed properties however make up for this. Elias the manager was always on hand to book restaurants or trips should you need help with anything. Overall this property was super value for money in a part of Santorini which is quite expensive. Do not hesitate to book a stay here as it is so peaceful and idyllic yet so close to all the action, really like a mini hotel, there is free coffee in the morning if you fancy a cup. Finally the cleaners were out and about everyday cleaning rooms and everywhere outside. Small but beautiful property offering a home from home service! 😃…
A great stay at Ersi Villas, convenient location away from the hustle and bustle of the Caldera Hills, though just few minutes across the road on the quiet east side. We stayed in room 4, although it didn't have a view, it was very quiet and we slept amazingly for our 9 day stay. Super, comfortable bed. There is communal area by the pool that we made use of to have breakfast, play backgammon, drink champagne and watch an amazing sunrise. The grounds are gorgeous and well looked after. Thank you Elias for a lovely stay, keep doing what you are doing.
Ersi Villas is centrally located in Santorini, with many cliffside restaurants in walking distance and all the restaurants and souvenir shops of Fira also very convenient. Firastefani is a quieter, less fancy/expensive place to stay than in Ia/Oia, but is still on the high side of the island with great views. And Ersi Villas is a great value as a a place to stay. The pool is dreamy, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and Elias is a very professional, helpful, reliable person. Be aware that you have to be able to climb and descend a bunch of stairs to be able to reach this property, so it's not suitable for people with mobility problems. My aunt and mother are in their 70's and it was tiring but doable for them. Overall this was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it!…
Friendly staff, convenient location and tidy hotel. Elias was very helpful with our stay. Lots of beautiful plants and great pool to cool off. Hotel is next to a supermarket if needed, and only a few minutes from path around magnificent caldera views. Everyday coming back to the hotel was a joy to finish our day here
Having just arrived to Ersi Villas from a place with a private jacuzzi, I was initially slightly underwhelmed. However, that was a big mistake on my part, as by the time I left I was thoroughly happy with my choice. Let's get the "cons" out of the way first... the rooms are relatively basic (but still good) and there's no breakfast included. Also, this isn't the place for you if you want that classic Santorini swim-out jacuzzi amazing view cave-style private villa. However, that's not the market it's aiming at. Now for the "pros"... Elias that runs the place is really friendly and helpful, which is always useful when you arrive in a new location. The rooms are small and simple, but they have a comfy bed, efficient aircon, a small kitchen area (including utensils), free wifi, a decent shower and a little private balcony area. And they are quiet - gloriously quiet!!! Because the place is away from the main road, and they're villas rather than traditional hotel rooms (so much less chance of noisy neighbours above/below you or lifts or cleaners running up/down the corridor at 7am!), then pretty much the only noise I heard was the gentle whirr of the aircon. There is a small but nice pool area with loungers, and the place itself is very relaxing with the myriad flowers adding to the zen feeling. It is also spotlessly clean, thanks to the friendly cleaning lady that seems to work late morning (i.e. not too early to wake you up at silly o'clock!) to early afternoon. The location of the hotel is nigh on perfect... it's a 5 minute walk to Firostefani main square (with a nice church and access to the Fira-Oia coastal path), it's a gentle 10 minute stroll downhill into Fira (with the main shops, restaurants, bars and bus station), and nearby to the hotel there's some mini supermarkets (for snacks/drinks/self-catering breakfast food) and nice traditional restaurants (cheaper than Fira for sure!). Finally, there's the price, which if you're honest is probably one of the main reasons you'd consider Ersi... it's great value and leaves you with much more of your cash to spend on the important things (food/drink, boat trip, sightseeing, souvenirs!). So, to summarise, if you want the honeymoon experience and are prepared to pay BIGGG bucks for it, then this isn't your place. But if you're a bit more savvy and simply want a nice/friendly/well-located/clean/quiet place to sleep each night and recharge your batteries for sightseeing the next day - this place is IDEAL!…
A second stay on the island and a second stay in this hotel. Again, and despite of the situation, everything was excellent - the room and its convenience, the beautiful garden, the cleanness and the attitude!
We had a great stay with my wife and parents at ERSI VILLAS. The owner, Elias takes great care of the guests and is always ready to help. The B&B is located on the backside of the cliff but the cliff and center of town may be reached in 5 minutes by walking. Great care was also taken for COVID-19. The women who clean the place do a great job.
We booked an apartment and were lucky enough to have the room seen in the featured photo which had it’s own sun loungers and was right next to the pool! The bed was so comfortable and everything was lovely and clean. The hotel had sea view and a lovely ambiance and we spent many a night outside our room with a bottle of wine and nibbles- heaven! Everyone was very kind and helpful and I would 100% recommend staying here.
