Recommended by our friends we were not disappointed. I was a perfect get away. Far enough from the main road but close enough to restaurants and shops. We wok up up every morning to a wonderful breakfast and a view that i describe as having stepped into a post card or painting. Maria was amazing an amazing host very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and everything a host should be. We are recommending it to our friends and family. Can't wait to go back!

Lithies was the last stop my wife and I made on our 3 weeks in Greece. The three days at Lithies was the best decision of our trip. Lithies came to us as a recommendation and we are going to be recommending it to our friends and family. To sum it up in one word: Peaceful. The view, amenities, and hospitality make this place special. With all due respect, if you plan to party or make a ton of noise PLEASE don’t go here. The best part about our stay with Lithies is the tranquility. Firostefani has an unwritten law of respecting the mutual desire of a relaxing vacation. Come to Lithies to get away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the island. It is pet and children (younger than 12) free- more on that can be found on their website. I hopefully will be able to return to Lithies in the future and would be joyful to see the sustained peacefulness of this village.

If you are planning to travel to Santorini, Greece I HIGHLY recommend staying in one of the Lithies private homes. The homes are absolutely beautiful and the view from the terrace is stunning! Maria and her staff made our stay wonderful! They were extremely attentive to our needs and every detail from the minute our driver drop us off. Sony insisted on carrying our luggage up and down the steep hills leading to the house! Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. We can not wait to return to our home away from home! Miss you Maria! 😘 Michelle & Andre Maryland USA

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a four night stay in the "Eros" home and it was beyond perfect! Our home was luxuriously appointed with everything you would ever need. Comfortable bed, quality linens & robes, large shower, washing machine, small kitchen, plenty of storage and everything is immaculately clean. Sunsets on the terrace were magnificent & very much enjoyed with the carafe of wine & snacks that are provided every afternoon. The location of Lithies can't be beat, as it is away from the hustle and bustle of Oia, yet close to great restaurants and shopping. The real star of Lithies, though is Maria and her staff! Our arrival was delayed due to the ferry strike, so Maria helped us navigate the stress that went along with travel disruptions. During our stay, she anticipated and addressed our every need by arranging dinner reservations, taxis and she making suggestions for things to do on the island. She served us a delicious, fresh breakfast each morning on our private terrace. Maria must be the angel of Santorini and we felt like we left the island with a dear friend! Sony is her right hand man, and he works incredibly hard to ensure that the outside terraces and pool are immaculate each and every day. He will assist you with your luggage, always with a broad smile on his face. If you want to make extraordinary memories that will last a lifetime, then you must book a stay at Lithies, as it truly is a magical place! Thank you Marie and Sony for an anniversary celebration that was incredible!

We stayed for one week in the smallest of the Homes which was spacious, immaculately clean and very well appointed, including a small kitchenette and a washing machine. The views from our terrace at breakfast and in the evening were simply spectacular. The homes are situated right on the rim of the caldera. Maria our host was wonderful, a very warm and friendly person. Included in the cost of the stay was a Greek breakfast freshly prepared each morning by Maria. The food was lovely and set us up well for the day. Also in the evenings you can watch the sunset in the company of Maria, a glass of wine and some nibbles, again all included in the price. The homes are located in a peaceful quiet area with fantastic restaurants within easy walking distance. I couldn’t find fault with anything to do with our stay, which was made even more special by Maria.
