We stayed at 2 apt units at Glarakia Studios. Our overall experience was very good - the place was clean, well-taken care of and the owner very friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be improved and quite easily (and not that costly) is the breakfast offering. And the internet was quite bad (almost non-existent)

A friend of mine suggested glarakia not only because it is a cheap stay but also because the place was very very clean and the owners have been extremely polite and they also offered me a spoon sweet made of almond. A great and pleaseant stay!

We saw availability online for the price of 50euros but i prefered to book it when we would arrive there. It was July and we arrived at the hotel the same day we saw the availability. The old lady showed us the room (the same room we had seen online), we liked it but she offered it for the price of 70euros. Even if we tried to explain her that we just saw the specific room online for 50 euros she insisted she couldn't lower the price to 50 and offered as another room instead at the price of 40.Ofcource that room wasn't listed on the photo gallery of their official site.We got deep dissapointment cause they didn't even bother to check. That new room was extremely small,semi basement,had only one small window,no view,and it was old.The bed was old,sqeaky and beside the wall.Toilet had no ventilation except fom a small hole on the wall leading to an interior hallway.The taps were rusty from the salt. A small space outside the room had a dirty sofa so you could't even sit. Ofcource no wifi. All the studios seemed empty. The car parking lot had only 1 car eventhough she offered us this room. Also we got very bad impression when we were asked for a receipt. Too bad!…
