Detailed Reviews
We really enjoyed our stay in Semiramis Hotel where you can experience amazing Greek hospitality and you can feel like part of the family. Our room was always clean, the breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed the calm garden every evening with the trees over us and we got great tipps regarding the island, gastronomy and attracrions. Thank you Semiramis Hotel, I hope we see you in the future. 😊

Family run hotel, the owners are lovely. We were especially fond of the resident cat, Penelope, who was just the sweetest old girl.
Fantastic location just off the main street of Adamas. It is the perfect distance of being close to the port and Main Street, yet just far enough away to be quiet at night. The room was very expensive for what it is, but it seems as though accomodation prices in Milos have skyrocketed since we last visited pre-covid.
The economy double room is just that, it is very small and not enough room to put out two suitcases without blocking the walkway. The bathroom is tiny, anyone of a larger size would struggle to fit in the shower. Room is very dated but the aircon worked really well. There could be some larger room options which would be better if your budget accommodates.
Breakfast is available in the nice shaded outdoor patio area for 8 euros, the serving is huge and good value compared to the offerings in Adamas.

This is a very sweet hotel, the staff are lovely and so friendly. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a great location, so close to everything you need. While I am going to go into the negatives this was counteracted by the hotel, people and of course Milos.
The room I was in was a single person room and it was definitely only big enough for one person - I do think it’s time it had a bit of an upgrade as it was looking a bit run down in places, mosquito’s squatted against the wall didn’t look terribly appealing, needed some paint in places just to freshen it up a bit. I managed to master not flooding the bathroom when using the shower (no curtains or sides) but you can see the door is damaged from the water and was difficult to close. On arrival I went to use the loo to see the toilet seat was completely off - this was fixed for me very quickly but you’d have though the cleaners would definitely have noticed that…
I did have a small garden terrace which was nice to sit out in and use to dry swim wear. I would recommend Semiramis but if I came again I don’t think I’d stay in the single person room - I of course do not know what the other rooms were like though.
Thanks for having me Semiramis and for being so welcoming!

We stayed for a week in Semiramis while holidaying in Greece. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming. We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday 🎂 here and it was beautiful. Almost 15 mins to old town and 5mins from port very very central. Nothing was too much trouble for staff and the bar man Vasillus was very helpful and pleasant and gave us great recommendations on various bars restaurants and beaches etc. We leave today but hope to return to the exceptional hospitality of Hotel Semiramis next year.

Prefacing this review that I visited in late April 2024, not long after the guesthouse opened for the season.
Personally, my stay was just okay and I hope a lot of the bumps I ran into are resolved before the full season opens. Or were a part of variable weather still at that time of year.
First, the rooms are good size (bathrooms too), but they do not look like they do in the online photos. Or the lobby does and rooms vary greatly. Wifi on the ground floor was also not good but was great on the second floor. The twin room beds are very small, if you're more than 5' 5", you might have feet off the bed.
The second floor I stayed on too also had power issues. In that if people had a kettle, hair dryer and maybe something else running in the room, the fuse would blow and take out power to the entire floor. The manager kept saying the electrician said it was fine but it happened 2-3x while I was there, once late at night and the manager had to come and reset the fuse.
Location is great, right by the main port, close to restaurants, and free parking not far away.
To be honest, I was most disappointed that it wasn't as charming as it looked online. And obviously the power issues.
I wish the manager and his father all of the best for the future. They were very nice and responsive, but I doubt I would recommend or stay here again.

Good evening from Milo’s Mrs Jessica , I am the owner of Semiramis ! I read your review and as i have already informed you twice when you arrive you the WiFi signal is variable depending on the weather conditions and in your arrival the first day the weather and the wind was so strong so the singal as I tell you depending of the weather that why the next day in the second floor was much much better ! We have antennas all over the house for the best singal we could give in our island Milo’s !!! As for the power here in Milo’s and general in Greek islands some times the power goes in and out depending of the humidity during the night time .!!! But in any case as you write I call the technician and he told me that my system does not have any issue!!!! As for the photos all the room are renovated the last 5 years -as the lobby !!! Also one more thing you did not say anything about the free upgrade that I make you as you were the first guest of the season and I make you a standard double room even if you have booked a basic single room with much lower rate !!! Thank you in any case and I wish you to see you again in Semiramis ! Dionisis manager owner

Overall an ok place, close to main amenities of Adamas. Nice garden Where to have breakfast, however I believe We got the worst room of the hotel (15). Old fashioned forniture and a strong smell of dump especially on the last two nights.Internet Connection didnt work properly. A bit too noisy as overlooking a very trafficked Road. We tried to switch the air conditioning on but too dusty and smelly . No towels changed in 4 days...
I know there are so Many good reviews of this hotel but my expectations were high and not fulfilled-Sorry! And we booked the room something like six months ago so it wasnt a last minute bad luck!
Suggestion: breakfast could be more varied and at least fresh bakery (packed croissants and cake not very nice; COVID excuse is over!)

Good evening from Milo’s, At first the number 15 is not an old fashioned room as you described as all the rooms shared the same decorations ( especially on the upper floor) but with some differences in the colours .! Also as it’s conecerned the interner exactly outside of your room there is a big brand new antenna of net so is not true that you did not have good internet connection , also now is august Alamost September and any of the next guest have complains about speed !!! As for the noisy place , Semiramis is very close to the center as you mention but in a little street without card passing up and down so we did not have any complains about the noises at nights at all you are the first Mrs Linda ! Finally is not true at all about the towels which changed every second day and the sheets every 3 rd day .! All in all you right here a lot of of false information without any reason and the true is that you write that in every internet platform more than 600 reviews are great for Hotel Semiramis !!!!! Maybe your expctations Mrs Linda are too high !! Finally your price with breakfast for late June period is great and the best in the central are of adamas where hotel Semiramis located and the breakfast costs 7 euro and has more fresh bread and cake and croissants every day !!!!! Thank you Hotel Semiramis

Petros, wife Angelica and son Dionysis never disappoint. The hotel is kept very clean and there is an abundance of information and assistance to navigate and discover Milos.
This is our 4th time in Milos and every time we are greeted by Petros as of it’s the first time.
Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need.

My wife and I had the most pleasant stay at Semiramis. Dionisis and his family were so welcoming and helpful. The gorgeous courtyard was such a joy each morning during breakfast, and in the evening to read. Perfect location. Clean, efficient room, with a small balcony to enjoy the evening stars. We will be back.

This family-ran hotel is amazing value for money!
We arrived from the boat and walked our way there as we had seen it was very close from the port... But we realised they can also come pick you up on arrival if need be.
The hotel is in a very great location: super close from the port but in a back-street which is very quiet.
The hotel owner and his brother are very kind and provided us with lots of tips and info about the island on arrival, showing us on the map all the beaches we could go to and the things to see in Milos.
The room itself was very cheap compared to other options we had seen or what the other tourists we met were paying elsewhere.
The room was very nice and the bathroom was recently refurbished to high standards.
Had a great time there!
