We stayed one night as a couple quite by chance (between 2 ferries) in this small, unpretentious family hotel, ideally located in a quiet location, a stone's throw from the port and its lively restaurants. Very clean and pleasant room. The boss is extremely kind and full of good advice. We recommend it. Arnaud & Élodie

My partner and I chose this location due being soo close to the port and looked like it would be a nice stay. Well we chose right, from the start Eleni was cooperative we had a check in at 8:00pm but our ferry was delayed 2 hours so we ended up getting to the hotel at 10:00pm which wasn’t a issue she said she will stay up until we arrive which was nice. Eleni showed us to our room and settled us in making us feel very welcome reassuring us that if there was anything we needed help with or any information that we wanted to know she would be glad to assist genuinely, she also gave us tips on where we should go to eat and what beaches were the best. On the day we had to checkout at 11:00am but our ferry doesn’t leave until 3pm, no worries Eleni suggested we leave our luggage at the reception enjoy our day and collect them once we had to leave. 10/10 would stay again!

The hotel is very clean and VERY basic. The price is very reasonable. I did not have breakfast there. The AC shuts off when you leave the room or open the balcony door. Thankfully the mini fridge does not. Tip…. They have soap, shampoo and towels but bring your washcloth and hair conditioner as they dont supply it. Eleni is very helpful and super nice. We were departing early for the ferry and she packed us cookies, fruit and cakes for the trip! I wish I could give it 5 stars but it was a little too basic for me.

We booked 6 nights and left after one night as we were apparently told we were too noisy when sitting outside on our balcony having breakfast!
We had a friend visit us at breakfast time 10:30am and the owner rushed over and said this is a quiet hotel everybody is sleeping!!! She suggested we have breakfast at a cafe with our friend! Who is she to tell us where to have breakfast we are paying to stay there not being told what to do! So we left and found a place 1/2 the price she charges…. So if you are a group of friends avoid hotel it’s just for couples!!!

The property was very clean inside and on the common property. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and it always felt safe. They were very accommodating towards us checking in early and always had someone on the door. The WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv available.
There wasn’t much effort towards sustainability, ie no recycling for guests and house keeping was done daily. There was an extremely strong perfume smell after the housekeeping had attended, I stay at many hotels and I have never smelt such a strong smell. It may not bother most guests but I had to air out the room each time. It is a fair hike from the port with your suitcase and be prepared to drag it up many stairs. This was fine for us being young but still a workout in the heat

We had a fantastic stay at Eleni’s. I had read so many fantastic reviews on the hotel so my expectation was high from the start - it honestly exceeded them. We were given the warmest welcome from Eleni herself on arrival. She ran us through all of the local eateries, attractions, made recommendations on car hire (which was by far the cheapest and most reliable on the island after we did our own research). The room was lovely with a nice veranda which we sat on every morning for a cuppa and a happy hour drink after exploring all day! The room was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. The housekeeping was incredible.
If you’re looking for a great base, walking distance to the port (with your baggage even!), free parking for your car, amazing hospitality, a quiet and cosy place to stay, there is no better!
Thanks Eleni for a terrific stay on Milos!

Hotel Eleni was one of the highlights of my trip to Milos. After an abrupt change of plans I found myself looking for a room in Adamas. Luckily, it was Eleni Hotel that I found myself running into. After a warm, genuine welcome by the hostess, Eleni, I was immediately shown to my room which had just been thoroughly cleaned as dictated by COVID measures.
The place is brilliant, clean, bright, with a nice view from the shared patio. It is located within walking distance from the port and bus station, making this an ideal location for pedestrian travellers such as myself.
At any given point, Ms. Eleni and her son were available to provide me with info about the island, advice on what I should visit, ideal routes, boat trips, beaches, landmarks etc. She even helped me book a boatrip around the island, going as far as calling the services herself. Eleni knows the island inside out and is willing to help you plan your trip. In a single day I felt like I'd been on the island for a week.
The hotel will also provide breakfast, though I didn't try that out, opting instead to visit the restaurants suggested by Eleni.
On the day of my departure, Eleni watched over my luggage as I did one final trip around the area. The hotel has multiple security measures in place, including personal safes in the rooms, and feels very safe.
To every solo traveller and everyone in general, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Eleni and will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Pluses: 1. Great location- near the city beach, walkable to the port, bus station, taxi rank, and all shops/restaurants 2. Mini fridge in the room, and kettle on request! 3. Very sweet family who runs the guesthouse. She even baked us cookies when we checked out. 4. Clean, quiet, and secure 5. Very helpful staff- Vueling changed our flights, and they were kind enough to let us rearrange our 3-night stay to a different 3 nights, without a penalty fee. 6. Lots of outlets!
Minuses: 1. No sea views. A big ugly hotel is between Hotel Eleni and the water. 2. Breakfast is not free
Overall, highly recommend for a quiet, homey stay in Milos.

The staff were all incredibly lovely people and the owner especially always went the extra mile to ensure that guests are well looked after. The hotel is very clean and has the cutest cat always napping on a chair in the lobby, would recommend staying here. Thanks again Eleni for a wonderful stay!!

Very quiet, clean and comfortable hotel. The welcome from our Host is exceptional, generous and caring. The room is very comfortable, well equipped, large bathroom, small balcony for hanging laundry. Quality bedding and pillows, impeccable cleanliness. Thank you for all the advice given during our stay. Access is easy and close to a very pleasant small beach. We will come back here for sure.
