I used loveholidays online to book flights, transfers & accommodation as a/ it worked out less expensive & b/ it gave you more options than package holiday agents online such as Tui or Jet2 so this brought up this property & many others in the villages of Piskopiano & Koutouloufari. I had the benefit of staying at the Asterias Village last year so I knew roughly where these apartments would be & yes as others have said they are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It's a steepish slope to get up & down & multiple steps at the property, depending on where you are. It was 52 steps to room 9, I counted them!

That said because we were so high, we had the best views over the whole area & it was amazing, day or night & to wake up to that view from where you sleep - bliss!

We did tell the owner, Anna, that we would be late getting in & it became later & later as our flight was delayed about an hour or so & then our shared transfer took about an hour & then we were dropped off at the bottom of Piskopiano & had to walk up! We managed to find our way & as requested rang the doorbell & we were shown to our apartment by the night manager who also gave us a bottle of water each but yep we made it!

I would say anyone booking with love holidays take the private taxi transfer option both ways if you stay here as only a car or small van will get up these hills!
We stayed in an apartment that could actually sleep 6 so it had a downstairs, with no air con & an upstairs with 2 bedrooms. Also 2 balconies. We just lived out of our cases downstairs as our dressing room & slept upstairs in the double room. As already stated, the apartments are basic but clean. Towels & bedding are provided/changed every other day & we enjoyed staying there. It wasn't an upgraded bathroom & it would be great to go there again & get an upgraded one as the shower curtain was quite annoying but the water was great for pressure & we had all the facilities we needed included free wi fi.

We had the sun in the morning on the balcony so it was very easy to relax there of a morning with a cuppa & sunbathe. There is a small pool across the road which was nice with an honesty bar & we used that a few times. Sometimes just having it for ourselves.

Anna the owner was very accommodating indeed & rang taxis for us & we were able to secure our apartment for a late checkout with no trouble at all. We were packed off with a bottle of water each

We went for 10 days and stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom with a massive balcony and views of the beauty sea and mountains. The accommodation was perfect; clean, safe and very spacious. The staff were extremely hospitable and the manager/owner, Anna, was so kind and helpful. The villas are set against the backdrop of wonderful mountains and in a peaceful residential area called Piskopiano. It’s a stones throw away from the picturesque village called Koutouloufari - there you’ll find boutique shops, a diverse range of excellent restaurants and more. The villas have access to 2 pools and 2 bar/restaurants. You really will not be disappointed - we had a magical time with our 3 kids. I have attached pictures of both Piskopiano and Koutouloufari Village.

We booked this accommodation as our usual apartments were not available and we liked the idea of a 2 bedroom apartment as we have a teen.
Kalimera is in a wonderful position above the church in Piscopiano providing amazing views. These are not at all suitable for people with mobility issues but we enjoyed the extra walk to work up an appetite.
We were greeted warmly by the lovely owner Anna the amazing couple working for her this summer, Justina and Roddy. I can not praise the work ethic and professionalism of them enough, they are an asset for anyone to have working for them. They provide a fantastic breakfast, amazing value but I felt bad for wasting food as there was so much!
Roddy also prepares prefect cocktails, taking pride in all he does.
The apartment was very spacious, cool, quiet and comfortable, dated but clean . Pleasant pool area , nice mix of all ages and nationalities staying. Both bathrooms would benefit from an upgrade, I was shown one of the refurbished rooms and they have fabulous bathrooms, would pay extra for such a room if we return.
With a little investment, these really could be a hidden gem, I would happily return .

Great welcome by the owner on the late night arrival and she was very accommodating in arranging an airport pick up.
The location is amazing with very nice views down to the Sea. Only a short walk from Old Hersonissos one direction and to Koutouloufari in the other, but in the traditional village of Piskopiano. All three are beautiful.
The room was very basic, air con upstairs but not downstairs. We had a balcony on both floors, but one had damaged wooden spindles which we felt nervous about, having got 2 young children. We believe we had one of the older rooms as the newer rooms in the photos looked lovely.
Bed was very comfy, cleaners daily and did an OK job.
You must be reasonably fit to stay here as its situated on a steep hill with lots of steps to access the rooms.
The hotel has strict timelines around noise. The hotel owner addressed me in front of the entire pool in a very aggressive manner about noise and an apparent baby nappy that had been left poolside. I tried to go later to apologise for this oversight and misunderstanding, but she was even more aggressive and threatened to throw us out of the hotel for one more indiscretion. We therefore felt very uncomfortable and had to minimise our stay in the hotel, ensuring we left the area at the quiet time (in our group there were 5 children altogether, there was no chance of quiet!)
The breakfast at the hotel is really nice and the two younger staff were very pleasant allowing us to keep our prams in their store room which helped massively.
We probably wouldn't return as a family, we think the hotel is nice but is aimed towards couples or older families who like peace and quiet.

What a wonderful place to stay we only stayed one night wished it was more.when we arrived we were greeted and shown around our apartment which was a traditional Greek apartment .little steps down to the lounge with a terrace.modern bathroom nicely equipped kitchen. Then stairs up to a huge bedroom with a large balcony with wonderful views.air con was included .and we were told we could check out anytime the next day.

We stayed for 10 days and had a lovely relaxing holiday. The rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds and our apartment had a balcony with panoramic views of the village and the Mediterranean.

The hotel has a bar and private swimming pool and our host, Elina, was a lovely lady who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We can recommend Kalimera Village and would return. However, as it is located on a steep hill, it is not really suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Great location, and facilities. Stayed with our two year old and it was perfect for her. Nice and quiet but a close walk to lots of lovely places to eat and drink. Beautiful views especially from the rooftop bar. Very friendly people, and a special mention to Kostas who was very kind to us during our stay, he is so hardworking and made our stay fabulous. We were very sad to leave!

Piskopiano is lovely. Very pretty and a world away from Manchester! The apartment was kept really clean, and although is pretty basic, had everything we needed including 2 balconies. We were self catering and could get pretty much everything we needed very locally. There are about 20 restaurants, crazy golf, play park & ice-cream places within a 10 minute walk and tonnes of shops, open late, to pick up souvenirs. The kids spent hours in the lovely pool and there were never more than a couple of other people sat around there which is just what we like. The only thing worth mentioning is that the beach in Hersonissos is about 2 km away down a very steep hill. There was no room to play on the sand. It's a very small area with 2 rows of sun loungers that you pay 3 euros for (which seemed OK for a day). There must be quieter/bigger beaches in walking distance but we didn't find them. We walked to the Hersonissos beach each time and got a taxi back (cost 7 euros) up the hill. And the air con was 7 euros a day per bedroom (we had 2).

We stayed for 10 nights at Kalimera Village in Piskopiano. Our apartment was the smallest but really well kept with a balcony that had a fabulous view of the sea. Linen and towels were changed every second day. AC was available in the bedroom for an extra €7 per day.
We had breakfast as part of our package which included cereal, fruit, fresh bread and cheese followed by pancakes, bacon or fried eggs prepared by Kostos. The staff and owner, Anna, were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us incluing planning an itinerary of places to visit, eat or things to do. The pool was lovely and they had cold drinks and snacks available there.
Piskopiano itself is a lovely village with lots of restaurants and souvenirs shops. Further on from Piskopiano is the village Koutouloumari, also with some lovely restaurants. As others have said, the beach in Hersonnisoss is 2km walk downhill. A taxi back up to Piskopiano cost €7.
We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return in the future.

This place is simply heaven, I cannot find any other words to describe it..

Location: 20mins walk (downhill) to the hustle and bustle of Hersonissos (or a 5min taxi ride, which at 7 euros is a bit expensive, in my view). As other reviewers have pointed out, Kalimera Village is an oasis of calm and peace set in beautiful surroundings, with sweeping views of the sea, the villages in the area and the mountains behind the hotel. Loads of restaurants in the area, and shops are 1min walk, alongside a friendly pub (just around the corner).

The Hosts: Elina & Dimitris are wonderful, warm hosts who looked after me with professionalism and attention to detail from the moment I set foot in their hotel. Everything was spot-on, from Elina's wonderful breakfast (very good value for money, considering the abundance of fresh local produce on offer) to Dimitris' assistance in booking my onward journey. I felt at home ALL the time.

The resort; I stayed in apartment 2, which was split-level and had a great balcony with fantastic views. Super-clean and with everything you need for a comfortable stay (from micro-wave to fridge, cutlery etc etc). Wi-fi (free of charge) has good coverage all over the resort and a lovely pool makes things easier when you just want to relax and catch up on your reading list.

I will definitely come back again, this place is a true gem.
