We stayed here for five nights in mid January on a half board basis. The staff are lovely and the food was very good. At breakfast there was plenty of choice and the evening meals were great. The hotel is located very close to the Linga lift and has a number of ski hire shops directly opposite.

Fantastic value, especially for half board. Food was great and they pulled out all the stops for dinner on new year's eve at no extra cost. Staff were super helpful too. Great location very close to the Linga lift and the bus to Pre la Joux. Rooms not flash but clean and big enough, and really excellent shower. I will...

Stayed here for a 5 day ski trip. Hotel is basic, but very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and it's extremely conveniently located for the ski lift that takes you into the Portes Du Soleil ski area, over to Morzine and Avoriaz. The centre of Chatel is a bit of a trek, so take the free shuttle bus (probably...

This is not a sophisticated or glamorous but it is very good value and far nicer than the 2* rating implies Rooms were cosy but not too small (though if you did squeeze four in then they'd be very cosy!): they were clean & pleasant. The breakfast was outstanding: grwat selection of pastries, cold cuts, cheese and pies / sweet...

We arrived late due to flight delays to find ourselves locked out at 23.15. After 15 minutes knocking on every door and window (no phone signal) we were let in. Our family room was quite small ( 2 twins and bunkbeds) and the bathroom door would not shut properly. Wifi did not work in the rooms and only sporadically in...

This hotel deserves far more than it's advertised two stars. Very friendly, accommodating staff; great location 100yards from ski lift; clean, warm, quiet, good food and excellent value for money!! We stayed half board and enjoyed every minute. Will be coming back for sure!!

We got a room with two single beds and one bunk bed. The bathroom was nice and newly renovated. In the room there was an oven, one of these radiators where you don't really know which way you are supposed to twist in order to turn it off. A bit annoying when it's very warm in the room and you...

I stayed here from 16th to 19th January on a girls' skiing trip. The hotel is warm, clean and comfortable. The couple who run the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating with a good sense of humour! We hired our skis across the road and then walked for about 3 minutes to the bus stop. The free bus takes...

I traveled with my two children ,12 and 14 years for a ski trip for 5 nights. We chose this hotel for its location near the Linga lift and for their 3-4 bed room at an affordable price . The hotel is simple, but works very well if you are primarily in Chatel to ski . Rooms are simple but...

We received a good welcome from Frederico, the manager, when we arrived. Our room had plenty of space for the two of us, was clean and warm, and the balcony overlooked the street at the front of the hotel. Frederico & his staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He even opened the restaurant and prepared a meal for...
