Annual visit to Chatel and meal out at Le Renard. Went for the set menu and wasn't disappointed. Would recommend even on a budget. Meal top notch but waiter a little grumpy but wouldn't stop me from going again.

Just spent a couple of nights here, superb staff, warm ambience and out of this world food. Close to the slopes and walking distance to the town, perfect to return to and soak in a warm bath, to be followed by meals to tempt even the fussiest of palate's. Nothing seemed to be any trouble and the locals who were...

We stayed for 2 days while on a hiking holiday. Arriving muddy and wet after a very long hike we were warmly welcomed by the charming Mathilde. A hot coffee was provided and our boots were taken to the boiler room to be dried. The hotel is very relaxed and the restaurant is excellent, popular with non residents and locals....

Visited this small 8 roomed chalet style hotel for two nights half board on a walking holiday at the end of June. Rob, the owner, and his wife couldn't have been more welcoming when we arrived wet and weary after a full days walking in the mountains. The room was very clean and tidy with great balcony overlooking the river....

We stayed in the en suite family room at Le Renard for February 2016 half term week. The room was great - comfortable for two adults and two small boys sharing (in the bunk beds). New shower with great. This was our 1st ski holiday with the boys. Le Renard was perfect. Fantastic food - Rob is an awesome chef...

After a day's skiing what could be better than a log fire, reasonably priced, well cooked and interesting food, excellent wines, super service and Shadow the dog over seeing events. Returned for first time since last winter and pleased to report that Le Reynard is as good as ever, even on a quiet night the atmosphere was warm and welcoming....

We stayed for 4 days and you can see why everyone comes back to Chatel! Chatel is a quaint little village where everyone knows each other. Le Renard is a lovely little hotel. The food is outstanding - I would go to the restaurant anyway. If the French eat there then it's got to be a good sign. The bus...

Based near the Linga area of Chatel, we saw this restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. It was great. We returned one year later and it was just as fantastic. There is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the food is amazing. Great presentation and totally delicious. For our money, the best in the area and well...

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere you have created is a credit to you and your team and I hope to be back again sometime in the future, along with the same weather! Ski bus picks up opposite and drops off right outside.
