Stayed 4 nights in October for climbing in the gorge. Room was simple but clean and comfy. The owner is super friendly and very helpful. Sadly, the restaurant was already closed for the season but we got to try the food one night and it was fantanstic. Overall great value for money. We will come again.

We stayed there for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a very individual one, small and sweet (maybe little bit alternative, but nice! Oh, and flush is a bit loud). Breakfast is french typical sweet, but rich and enough to start a sporty day. During the day there is a small room for everyone to have some...

I have stayed at le perroquet vert a number of times now. Have always been very happy. The rooms are nice and clean and good value for money. The breakfast is nice, and all my special requests were easily fulfilled (eg allergies). Besides being a nice hotel, the staff is very helpful if you need information on an excursion or...

I stayed here for three nights, we were a group of eight friends who came to Verdon for climbing and other outdoor activities. We loved Le Perroquet, cozy rooms, cheap enough, good restaurant and climbing shop at the the ground floor, what more could you ask for? Plus, Palud is very well located for everything you want to do in...

I stayed here only one night after walking the Verdon Gorge and was pretty tired. Dinner was simple, yet tasty and perfect. When I didn't have room for dessert the owner wrapped me a slice of pear tart to take with me for my walk the next day. Breakfast was great. My room was charming, with en suite, perfect for...

I stayed for 2 nights with dinner and breakfast. The owners were very friendly, and the room was comfortable for the price. It was nice to not have to think about finding dinner after a day of climbing and sightseeing in the area. I also was able to get great advice about where to climb for my level of experience....

We booked ourselves in for three nights over the easter break and had a lovely stay. The owners are warm and friendly and the rooms clean, comfortable, cozy and reasonably priced. Good eating opportunities are a stones throw away, but the owners also put on a delicious dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings (subject to change according to the time...

I've been coming to the Verdon area for a little while now, bit the charming town of La Palud sur Verdon always has an intense gravitational pull - in particular it is a great pleasure to stay a few nights at the centrally located Le Perroquet Vert. Owners Christine and Olivier are always the most welcoming of people and the...

I discovered this gem a few years ago on a climbing trip to the Gorge. It is amazing! Christine and Olivier really make you feel at home. It is perfectly located in the centre of this beautiful village in the heart of the gorge. Olivier is also a fantastic chef. I look forward to many return trips!

I stayed for three nights and had a great time. It is a very small place, 3 rooms. I stayed in La Demande, which has a separate bathroom exclusively for that room about 2 meters from the room itself. The room has a half-timbered ceiling, as does much of the rest of the hotel building, which is about 200 years...
