Nice Hotel Alps style. Mme guillot and her team will take care of you. Half pension is very affordable and ideal to sky the all day. Want there in March 2016, will be there again in March 2017. My Son preferred to sky there that in the Rockies! French and international Breakfast...

Hotel L'Ecureuil is a fabulous, family run, traditional chalet in the lovely French resort of Auron. My husband and I have stayed there twice, which says a lot as we like to try out new places everywhere we go and rarely go to the same place twice. The lodge reminds us of an African safari lodge, which is another reason... More

Typical French Alps small hotel, clean, comfortable, much too warm until you turn the heating off and open the windows! :) Usual small room, and small bathroom, but just what you need for a week skiing. only about 300 yards from the main lift and centre of the village. would stay here again.

Came here on a tour of the Alps. Fair play to this hotel as it seemed to be the only place in the town that was open in mid September. Small rooms but lovely bar area with a roaring fire. Food was great for what we wanted and we refuelled well. Lovely staff.

Terrible hotel. Not worth half the money it costs. It has terrible views from the room. The rooms had stains, wallpaper missing, a terrible odor and narrow hallways. They were also very dated. Staff at reception were also very ignorant. How does this hotel have 3 star! We left the next day.

We are usually day skiers, returning to the coast at night time, we have occasionally stayed the night but to be honest the choice in Auron is not great. This hotel was absolutely fine, the staff were welcoming, the 2 dogs are lovely. the facilities and rooms are not luxury, they are basic but good, beds comfy, rooms and bathrooms... More

For quite an expensive stay, the experience wasn't great. The prices are high, as to be expected in a ski resort like Auron, so this isn't a complaint about the price versus quality. The rooms are very small but cute, clean and functional. The location was fairly good, a short stroll from the bus stop and from the center of... More

Nice hotel Parking available Wi-fi not working in our room The room was clean but we were not lucky, the cleaner forgot the soap bars and the soap dispenser was not working. I had to go to the reception... Shower not perfectly cleaned. Breakfast charged 10 euros but written 9.50 euros on the door. Nice breakfast a bit overpriced. Receptionist... More

Very central location, within 5 mins of shops and restaurants. Room quite small but adequate if you are out all day. We had as all terrace with table. Breakfast adequate - fresh fruit, yogurts, croissants, ham and cheese, bread and home made jams. Friendly owner and staff. Free parking at front of hotel.

We spent one night during the beginning of the summer season. The hotel was almost completely empty. The room was comfortable and quite big, breakfast was very good. Service went from apathetic to good (stuff was preparing for the busy season).
