The room was incredible small, the beds were incredible desconfortable, the window didn't close well and the room was freezing...the bathroom is so small you don't fit inside...ridiculous! Oh, and by the way, they charge 196€ for this...as if it wasn't enouth the breakfast was not included and they charge 16€/person for a ridiculous breakfast of coffe, tea, bread, boiled...

Prior to booking in this hotel, we had a look at the comment section on trip advisor and we had some mixed feelings. But I am pleased to say we were rather satisfied with this venue: - The staff were nice and welcoming. No problem whatsoever in leaving your stuff in the morning before an after-noon check-in/check out. Although the...

Thin bedroom doors and walls make its very audible hotel. Booked double bed room was not available. The bathroom is outdated small and in needed of an overhaul. Considering cost this hotel represented bad value for money. Service however was friendly and efficient. Hotel has a small bar and nice looking restaurant (not used) hotel is close to the slopes,...

Hotel L'Ecureuil is a fabulous, family run, traditional chalet in the lovely French resort of Auron. My husband and I have stayed there twice, which says a lot as we like to try out new places everywhere we go and rarely go to the same place twice. The lodge reminds us of an African safari lodge, which is another reason...

Typical French Alps small hotel, clean, comfortable, much too warm until you turn the heating off and open the windows! :) Usual small room, and small bathroom, but just what you need for a week skiing. only about 300 yards from the main lift and centre of the village. would stay here again.

Came here on a tour of the Alps. Fair play to this hotel as it seemed to be the only place in the town that was open in mid September. Small rooms but lovely bar area with a roaring fire. Food was great for what we wanted and we refuelled well. Lovely staff.

Terrible hotel. Not worth half the money it costs. It has terrible views from the room. The rooms had stains, wallpaper missing, a terrible odor and narrow hallways. They were also very dated. Staff at reception were also very ignorant. How does this hotel have 3 star! We left the next day.

We are usually day skiers, returning to the coast at night time, we have occasionally stayed the night but to be honest the choice in Auron is not great. This hotel was absolutely fine, the staff were welcoming, the 2 dogs are lovely. the facilities and rooms are not luxury, they are basic but good, beds comfy, rooms and bathrooms...

For quite an expensive stay, the experience wasn't great. The prices are high, as to be expected in a ski resort like Auron, so this isn't a complaint about the price versus quality. The rooms are very small but cute, clean and functional. The location was fairly good, a short stroll from the bus stop and from the center of...
